QUESTIONNAIRE
RIGHT TO LIFE
Human life begins at conception and deserves legal protection at every stage until natural death.
Agree
Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive taxpayer funds or grants from federal, state, or local governments.
Strongly Agree
I support the Born Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act, which requires health care providers to provide life-saving treatment for infants who survive an attempted abortion.
Strongly Agree
Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?
Only when the life of the mother is in jeopardy.
ECONOMY
It is the government’s responsibility to ensure everyone has a livable income.
Disagree
Free enterprise and the right to private property are essential elements of a productive economic system.
Strongly Agree
How would you guarantee Social Security benefits for future generations?
We need to pay down the national debt and give the free market the ability to expand the workforce. By doing these two things we can ensure that Social Security can and will be protected for generations to come.
What government spending would you reduce in order to balance the budget?
Waste, fraud and abuse. We need to hold government agencies accountable for their spending of taxpayer dollars each year. We need to take a closer look at government funded research studies and not just hide them inside omnibus bills. I am also in favor of zero-based budgeting for one Cabinet level department each year.
Under what circumstances should taxpayers help pay off existing student loans?
If the student is working on a government program that allows for that to happen.
RELIGIOUS LIBERTY
Governments should not discriminate against individuals, organizations or small businesses because of their belief that marriage is only a union of one man and one woman.
Strongly Agree
Religious liberty is at risk in the United States and deserves the highest level of protection in the law.
Strongly Agree
I promise to protect the freedom of Christians to share the Gospel and to practice Biblical principles.
Yes
What does "separation of church and state" mean to you?
America was founded upon the notion that the state cannot and should not interfere with the Church's affairs.
HEALTHCARE
It is the government’s responsibility to ensure everyone has health insurance.
Neutral
I support the elimination of private healthcare insurance.
Strongly Disagree
How would you promote healthcare coverage that is adequate, affordable and accessible for all?
We need to introduce competition back in to healthcare coverage in order to increase quality and decrease the costs. In our system, we eliminated competition, consolidated hospitals, reduced available bedspaces - which drove up the costs of healthcare. We need to reverse course and go back to what works. Government gives too much power to the insurance companies which increases the costs as well. We need to reduce government's role in the healthcare marketplaces.
NATIONAL SECURITY
The best way to maintain peace is through a strong military.
Strongly Agree
What should the United States do to help eradicate the threat of radical Islamic terrorism?
We need to hold them accountable and always negotiate from a position of strength. If we say "Don't cross this line" and they do, we must do whatever is necessary to stop that threat at home and abroad.
IMMIGRATION
I am in favor of construction of a wall and other necessary infrastructure on our border that gives complete control over entering and exiting the United States.
Strongly Agree
Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) should be abolished.
Strongly Disagree
State and federal funds should be denied to any public or private entity, including but not limited to sanctuary cities, that are not in compliance with immigration laws.
Neutral
Employers should be required to use E-verify to confirm the eligibility of their employees to work in the United States.
Strongly Agree
Who should be allowed to immigrate to the U.S. and under what circumstances?
Immediate family members of U.S. Citizens, people who want to invest in America on a work VISA, refugees from war torn countries.
EDUCATION
Taxpayer-funded public education should be guaranteed through college.
Disagree
VALUES
Judeo-Christian values established a framework of morality which is necessary for our system of limited government.
Strongly Agree
I support adding sexual orientation, gender identity and gender expression as protected classes in non-discrimination laws.
Neutral
Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.
I believe that we are all here by design and not by accident. In dealing with each other on earth, we must use the Bible as a guide. We are all sinners and that was the reason why Jesus came and died for us. He is the teacher. We must use his guidance and wisdom when we are making decisions. We must follow Jesus and the Bible when we encounter problems on earth. I became a Christian in high school back in 1983. I try to look at every situation as if Jesus was here and do what he would do.
ABOUT YOU

No.
Is there anything else you would like voters to know about you?
I am a first-generation immigrant American. My family arrived in St. Paul, Minnesota from Laos in 1978, when I was 12-years old. I have taken advantage of the bountiful opportunties America has given me to become successful. I am now in that stage of my life where I want to give back to my country.
CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY
Mandatory minimum sentencing should be required and enforced for violent crimes.
Disagree
2ND AMENDMENT

OTHER IMPORTANT ISSUES

Strongly Disagree
I support the legalization of recreational marijuana.
Disagree
Reparations should be given to people on the basis of race.
Strongly Disagree

1. Balanced Budget Amendment 2. Health Insurance Reform 3. Securing Public Safety
Is racism a threat to domestic security in the United States? Why or why not?
Racism is a threat, but probably not as great as what the media would like you to believe. We have multiple ethnicities living together throughout the United States. Most of them get along with each other. Still, there are times when people of different ethnicities don't get along. These are the cases that need to be closely investigated. Again, the media blows this out of proportion but we still need to take on the cases that do exist.
