QUESTIONNAIRE

RIGHT TO LIFE

Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive funds from federal, state, or local governments (including Title X grants).

Strongly Agree

It is ironic that while so many people seeking office point out the importance of the Hyde Amendment, the federal government does indeed fund abortions through Medicaid and Medicare.

I support 'aid in dying' laws which legalize assisted suicide and euthanasia.

Strongly Disagree

Life is precious, and it is tough. If I support "aid in dying," I could not support any suicide prevention efforts, and I could not be anti-abortion.

Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?

No circumstance.

ECONOMY

Redistribution of income is needed to lessen the gap between the wealthy and working classes.

Strongly Disagree

Rewarding thrift and ingenuity instead of regulating people and businesses into mediocrity at best and out of business at worst is the key to success.

The government should cut spending in order to reduce the national debt.

Strongly Agree

There are too many programs which are redundant, ineffective, impractical, unconstitutional.

What changes, if any, should be made to the tax code?

I would close whatever magical "code" which will prevent the ubiquitous chorus of "make the rich pay their fair share" howling!

RELIGIOUS LIBERTY

Religious liberty is at risk in the United States and deserves the highest level of protection in the law.

Strongly Agree

There is no longer a separation of church and state- the government is absolutely pushing the religion of secularism.

Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.

Strongly Disagree

There is targeting of businesses who are against certain things- like baking cakes with horrid messages on them. Think of the tremendous potential for people to support a business which caters to the woke agenda crowd. If I don't get the service I want at one establishment, go to another. This is America.

What should be the relationship between the church and the state?

Sometimes I wonder if a 501(c)3 status is a good thing. This allows the government to limit the speech of the church. Too, answering this depends on the direction in which the question is asked.

HEALTHCARE

Under what circumstances (if any) should a government, school, or employer be allowed to require vaccinations?

I used to believe in the "usual" childhood vaccines, but over the past two years, too much has come out to trust vaccines again. I do not believe any "vaccines" should be required again.

What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D)Tax-payer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be de-funded.

Option C. Additionally, there needs to be a serious revamp of the system.

NATIONAL SECURITY

With regard to America's foreign policy, which view most closely resembles yours: A) The United States should intervene whenever freedom is threatened. B) The United States should selectively help countries trying to grow democracy and fight tyranny. C) The United States has become too involved in others' policies and should remain focused on issues regarding our own sovereignty unless in imminent danger. D) The United States should stay out of foreign conflicts completely.

C. The past 20 years have made clear, especially in hindsight, who the manipulative hawks are. We support both ideologically and financially other nations' border security but neglect our own from full-scale, planned, strategic invasion. We must defend ourselves first.

I support the Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement to pressure Israel to withdraw from occupied territories, remove the separation barrier in the West Bank, allow full equality for Arab-Palestinian citizens of Israel, and promote the rights of Palestinian refugees.

Strongly Disagree

The Chinese Communist Party poses serious military, cyber security, intellectual property, and global economic threats to the United States.

Strongly Agree

What should the United States do to help eradicate the threat of Islamic terrorism?

The U.S. should push for regional Arab allies to assume greater responsibility for stabilizing. If we are serious about threats which they are not afraid to make, then we must take threats seriously, vet completely and accept no compromise.

IMMIGRATION

The U.S. should do more to physically secure the southern border.

Strongly Agree

Since at least 2006, members of both parties voted to fund and build a wall but stopped short of action. Now that a wall has been begun, partisan opposition has reared its head on purely political grounds.

State and federal funds shall be denied to any public or private entity, such as a sanctuary city, that is not in compliance with immigration laws.

Strongly Agree

Who should be allowed to immigrate to the U.S. and under what circumstances?

Whomever is allowed to according to immigration law. Those who enter the country legally, especially those pursuing a legal path to citizenship, are to be given top priority.

VALUES

Sexual orientation and gender identity should be protected classes in non-discrimination laws.

Strongly Disagree

Up until this time, non-discrimination laws have been based on what a person's physical trait- color, handicap status, gender, etc. It should NOT be based on appearances or actions. If that is the case, when does one draw a line between anything? Overall, respect is needed for all people, but not at the expense of endangering people or making others uncomfortable in personal and private areas.

I agree with Critical Race Theory (CRT) which asserts that the institutions in the United States are fundamentally racist.

Strongly Disagree

What flawed logic- stating the country is fundamentally racist, being founded on those principles. How foolish to take the comforts of today for granted and not realizing how difficult even the best journey across the seas were, never mind having to learn to survive in a veritable wilderness. Actual history is quite different.

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

Our nation was founded on religious freedom. Our Constitution and the Bible are the two most important documents in our nation, and the farther we stray from either, the further the decline of our nation. No one is perfect, but one should strive to be his/her best.

ELECTIONS AND VOTING

People should be able to vote without photo identification.

Strongly Disagree

ID has been required for so many things for so long that adding that requirement, if it is not already in place, is negligibe.

What laws would you propose to change present voting practices?

ONLY US citizens may vote in elections.

EQUALITY

Reparations should be given to people on the basis of race.

Strongly Disagree

When does it end? What is really fair? More questions than can be answered. Life is not fair, and one must do the best one is able. Personal responsibility. Better living through success- success is sweet revenge for those who overcome the odds.

Is racism a threat to domestic security in the United States? Why or why not?

It is when people are whipped into a frenzy with false narratives. This is not a racist country, though there are a great many people with prejudices. The two are fundamentally different.

ENERGY & ENVIRONMENT

I support the use of hydraulic fracking to extract oil and natural gas resources.

Agree

Limited.

Which comes closest to your view? A) Stricter environmental laws and regulations cost too many jobs and hurt the economy. B) Stricter environmental laws and regulations are worth the cost.

A. The government plays favorite making rules which favor companies of a certain size over another. There is a risk/benefit to every single decision.

ABOUT YOU

When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and religious liberty, which of the following best describes you overall?

Very Conservative

I believe in maximum freedom with maximum responsibility. I dislike government interference in so very many aspects of our lives.

Please provide publicly available information, including interviews and media reports, validating your answer to the previous question (other than your website).

Nothing published.

Have you ever been convicted of a felony or been penalized in either civil or criminal court for sexual misconduct? If so, please explain.

No, I have been neither involved in any felonies nor sexual misconduct.

What else would you like voters to know about you, including your legislative priorities?

The power of the government has expanded far beyond its original intent and must be scaled back. Likewise, states and individuals must take back their rights and responsibilities. This will not be easy, there will be great resistance, but to make the US, the individual great and independent again, hard choices must be made. I would like to defund several agencies which have NOT been working for the benefit of Americans on several levels.

CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY

Police officers should be personally immune from prosecution for conduct consistent with departmental policy (qualified immunity) while on duty.

Strongly Agree

For conduct within departmental policy, absolutely. For the few and far between bad apples in any organization, not at all.

I support redirecting funds from police departments to mental health and community programs.

Strongly Disagree

I do not support that. If additional funds are needed and priority for that community, then funds should be provided separately. The fact that there is a lack of prosecution for crimes which the police enforce does not mean fewer police are needed. The fact in today's society there seems to be an "anything goes" mentality, the least resistance to mental health suggestion may now trigger a hate crime or spawn a new protected class.

2ND AMENDMENT

What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?

The ones in place: felons should not own guns. No more.

Victims of gun violence should be able to sue firearms dealers and manufacturers.

Strongly Disagree

To what end? There only person responsible for gun violence is the one who pulls the trigger. If there is a manufacturer defect, that is different, but that is not "gun violence" as the term is understood. Should knife, auto, bat, and machete manufacturers be held liable, too? Of course not.
