It would depend on what critical task must be provided to first assure public safety. I believe the best way to cut spending in general would be to make percentage cuts across the board to agencies. It would also be decided on a detailed plan and the needs of such funds. I do believe in maintaining a balanced budget.

Don't allow any government agency or program to stand between what religious beliefs are crutial to our country. They should be kept separate between the relationships of church and state. The constitution and our currency state "In God We Trust".

How would you promote healthcare coverage that is adequate, affordable and accessible for all?
There have been many rural hospitals and clinics that have closed throughout our region. This has placed a major crisis for obtaining health care. Our constituents deserves adequate health care at the most affordable cost. We must take a hard look at assuring these facilities are properly staffed. I believe we must attract and maintain these new graduating doctors by relieving them of a prorated portion of their tuition if they sign a 4 year contract in these rural areas.

Believing in God is the foundation of our well-being. We must establish what is right and moral in life so we can all thrive together as described in the US Constitution. The bible is a detailed plan that guides and directs us to get through hard time that arrise. Be kind to one another, but keen in making good prudent decisions with the tools provided by God. If we follow the scripture, we will experience a better country.

Economically we must support small business because they are the backbone of our country. This provides us with good jobs and products which are necessary to our success while allowing our citizens to provide for their families and thereby developing familiy values as a result.
What education or experience qualifies you to hold the office for which you seek election?
I have obtained an abundance of experience during my 35 years with the Oklahoma Department of Mines. I have extensive knowledge in negotiating and working with the industry and citizens to assure public safety and reclamation of the property for a higher or better use, after mining is completed. I have worked with many local, state and federal agencies to assure a desired outcome is met. I have completed numerous investigations and follow up reports documenting my findings. I have retired after 20 years service as a volunteer fireman. Thereby understanding the importance of our first responders. I have been a past president of the Pittsburg County Cattleman's Association and have managed my family ranch for many years. I have a degree in Agriculture Education and am focused on conservation and preserving our states water supply. I am committed to take action at the State Capitol by providing new ideas and leadership for a better future. I have always been a hard worker and will stay focused to be the citizens spokesperson that is transparent, honest and dedicated to achieve great things for District #7 and our state. I am honored to take my abilities to the Capitol to work across party lines to achieve results that our citizens deserve.

In priority order, what three areas of legislation do you propose to author or sponsor if elected?
There are so many areas that are important to me. It's hard to narrow down to three. 1) Address public health issues in rural areas. 2) Enhance or develop new business interests to provide good paying jobs which will support our State. I believe this begins with a properly educated workforce development plan. 3) Develop and support a strategic solution to our overall infrastructure for better roads and bridges. This will also attract industry to our state.
