Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?

The only situation where I could consider abortion as an option is in the case of a tubal pregnancy where the fetus is not viable and the mother's life is at risk.

How would you guarantee Social Security benefits for future generations?

Social Security must continue to be funded for those who are unable to switch to an alternative plan. But for future generations, we need a different plan. I'm in favor of a proposal by David Green called the Entitlement Reform Act. This takes the money currently being invested each month for Medicare/Medicaid/SS, and invests it in a secure, restricted account. The avg is $600 per month. If $50 is invested at birth to age 65 in a mutual fund earning 7%, one would have over a million dollars to retire on. If this is drawn out at a 4% rate, it would more than double the current Social Security rate. Take another $50 a month and invest the same way to take care of geriatric care. Of the remaining $500, take $300 a month and invest the same way to have $130,000 by age 18 to cover secondary education. Take the remaining $200 and invest the same way to cover juvenile health care. At age 18, combine the $200 and $300 to invest $500/mo to cover adult health care.

What government spending would you reduce in order to balance the budget?

Foreign Aid - Trump has done a spectacular job in reigning this in. There has long been excessive investments in other countries who were providing nothing in return for US Assistance. While I do believe there does need to be money allocated to assist countries in need, especially our allies, we have to take a close look at how much is being spent, why, and the return on investment. Tax Returns for Illegals Federal Aid for Illegals Implement the fair tax, so ALL pay taxes.

Under what circumstances should taxpayers help pay off existing student loans?

I do not believe the function of tax dollars is to pay off a personal loan. Students need to be well-informed and wise when making financial decisions. Schools need to do better informing students of the risk of taking out school loans, and also work to help their graduates find job placement upon graduation. The cost of education is high, and the responsibility falls to the borrower to consider the cost. It does not fall to the government to pay for a miscalculation.

What does "separation of church and state" mean to you?

The government will not institute a state religion or interfere in the affairs of the church. Churches are to remain free from state interference with no threat of penalty for preaching, worshiping, and gathering according to their convictions. This does NOT mean our government is void of Biblical influence or mention of God. While the church must remain free from governmental influence, and while there should be no state religion, there still remains an essential place for the ongoing influence of Judeo-Christian values in our governmental system.

How would you promote healthcare coverage that is adequate, affordable and accessible for all?

Healthcare starts in the kitchen. The number one killer in America is heart disease. This is almost entirely preventable through lifestyle changes (clean eating and exercise). If we attacked this singular killer of over 600,000 Americans a year, what would this do to our insurance premiums? How would it impact the cost of hospital visits? The answer: it would dramatically reduce it all! So before we try to figure out who is going to pay for our daily bad decisions to eat highly processed, toxic foods, let's first get serious about changing our American diet and reversing this embarrassing reputation as one of the most unhealthy countries in the world. Step two: keep healthcare in the free market. If we get healthier, we don't need to see the doctor as much. Because there are fewer patients, there is increased competition among doctors to offer the best service at the lowest price to get more business. And because we are seeing the doctors less, insurance premiums are reduced.

What should the United States do to help eradicate the threat of radical Islamic terrorism?

First, I stand with President Trump when he said, “We will not defeat it with closed eyes or silent voices,” he added. “Anyone who cannot name our enemy is not fit to lead this country.” We must be bold enough call this type of terrorism what it is and link it to its source - radical Islam. This threat will always remain as long as there is Islam, because as long as there is Islam, there will be those who take select verses of the Koran as license and divine allowance to advance violent attacks on those of differing faith. The war on radical Islamic terrorism must be active both at home and abroad. Known terrorist cells must be monitored, targeted and destroyed in joint efforts with our allies, especially Israel. Sharia law must be officially banned as an allowed form of government on any level in the United States.

Who should be allowed to immigrate to the U.S. and under what circumstances?

Those who meet the requirements set forth by our immigration department and homeland security. These should obviously be individuals without criminal records or history of violence and/or crimes against humanity. These individuals must pass all checks and tests. Currently they must: 1.) be at least 18 years old; 2.) be of good moral character; 3.) able to read, write and speak basic English. 4.) demonstrate an understanding of the principles and ideals of the U.S. Constitution; 5.) have a basic understanding of U.S. history and government; take an oath of allegiance to the United States. I believe these are fair and attainable requirements.

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

I believe in one God - the God of the Bible. He is the creator of all things, and he made man in His image - distinguishing man from all other creatures. Man was made to live in a harmonious relationship with his Creator, but man chose to rely on His own knowledge and mental abilities rather than trust God. So man sinned and introduced a curse on himself and the world. Jesus is God's answer to man's sin and rebellion. Jesus died as a substitute for all man - effectively paying the penalty for man's sin and purifying man. Those who believe in Jesus as God's provision for sin, are made holy and receive God's Spirit to be restored to perfect unity with God once more. Values that spring from this foundational belief are: God given freedom, moral standards, unchanging/eternal truth, right and wrong, consequences for sin, life after death, the power of love, and the sovereignty of God.

Is there anything else you would like voters to know about you?

The greatest need in our country today is a return to the fundamentals. We need a simplification of many processes that have become so complex the general public feels out of touch and unqualified to even join the discussion. The reality is, this isn't a process that is reserved for the elite. It MUST be OF the people and BY the people. We need to return to fundamental morality and its emphasis in public schools. We need to return to fundamental budgeting and prioritization of nation interest. We need to simplify the tax code and end the IRS. We need to emphasis individual freedom rather than the government oversight and regulation. I am here to represent the people. I will bring common sense, faith, and a true fight to freedom to Washington. I do not compromise because I am fully aware of my accountability first to God and then to the people who elect me. Let's simplify government, so our individual lives can flourish as they were intended. Together we RISE!

2ND AMENDMENT

What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?

Gun ownership should not be restricted for those who have a clean criminal record. Background checks should be required at the time of purchase, but if cleared, an individual should be able to buy guns, ammo, and accessories for the purpose of sport, hunting, and self-defense. We have a Constitutional right to carry, and I believe this should be permissible across state lines.

In priority order, what three areas of legislation do you propose to author or sponsor if elected?

1.) The immediate and absolute end of abortion. This would require the overturn of Roe v Wade. It’s hard to imagine a more important issues than that of immediately protecting lives that are being legally ended every day. This is THE most urgent issue of the day. 2.) The absolute freedom of individuals to choose vaccines or any other medicine, substance, or material that would be injected in, adhered to, or made contact with one's body. The imminent threat of forced vaccinations is real, and I want to ensure no individual is forced to receive any thing into their body against their will. 3.) Very closely connected to the aforementioned, action must be taken to ensure our religious liberty is protected. Government must be checked in its attempt to control religious assembly. Church is not an essential business. If fact, it is not a business at all. It is an expression of the most fundamental aspect of our being - the recognition and worship of the Creator and giver of life itself.

Is racism a threat to domestic security in the United States? Why or why not?

Racism is certainly still very much alive in the U.S., and I believe it does contribute to a disruption in domestic security to some degree. However, I am not sure to what degree and I'm not sure if this is even measurable. I have no doubt there is racial discrimination against those from the Middle East, Hispanics, There have been significant acts of violence over the last few years. Many of these appear to racially motivated. However, these are not the norm when you consider the population as a whole. These are highlighted by the media and a greater emphasis on racism is propagated so that it appears more common and more widespread than it actually is. I do not diminish this evil. I pray we can do more to work toward racial reconciliation and acceptance. However, legislation has its limits. Racism is a matter of the heart, and no form of legislation will eradicate it - it will merely hold it back. Hatred for another race can only be tempered and transformed to love by God himself
