QUESTIONNAIRE
RIGHT TO LIFE
Human life begins at conception and deserves legal protection at every stage until natural death.
Strongly Agree
Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive taxpayer funds or grants from federal, state, or local governments.
Strongly Agree
I support the Born Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act, which requires health care providers to provide life-saving treatment for infants who survive an attempted abortion.
Strongly Agree
Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?
I find abortion to be unethical and will do everything that I can to save as many babies as I possibly can. I do not agree with taking the life of an unborn child, but I do feel that the family should have the right to decide under the circumstance that the pregnancy legitimately endangers the life of the mother. All options to help both survive must be evaluated.
ECONOMY
It is the government’s responsibility to ensure everyone has a livable income.
Strongly Disagree
Free enterprise and the right to private property are essential elements of a productive economic system.
Strongly Agree
What government spending would you reduce in order to balance the budget?
Zero based budgeting is a proven way to cut government spending across the board. Many budget writers are lazy, and just increase the parts of the budget people talk about (education, roads, etc) to match the increase in revenues and pat themselves on the back for a job well done. Instead, each line in the education budget should be reviewed - if the program to prevent frozen waffles from melting in schools has seen its funding double in five years, but 56% more frozen waffles are melting than
RELIGIOUS LIBERTY
Governments should not discriminate against individuals, organizations or small businesses because of their belief that marriage is only a union of one man and one woman.
Strongly Agree
Governments should define marriage as between one man and one woman; no other definition of marriage should be legalized or supported with taxpayer or public funds.
Strongly Agree
Religious liberty is at risk in the United States and deserves the highest level of protection in the law.
Strongly Agree
I promise to protect the freedom of Christians to share the Gospel and to practice Biblical principles.
Yes
What does "separation of church and state" mean to you?
The great part of the American experience has been our freedom to worship as we choose. Many states and regions have favorite religions as different as their topography or weather. Establishing a government religion would have harmed America's vibrancy and growth. We are a Judeo-Christian nation built on biblical principles, and we need to honor and respect that heritage. Taking God out of our public life and institutions is the wrong way to go. Encouraging prayer and using biblical values to guide our government is the the right way to go.
HEALTHCARE
It is the government’s responsibility to ensure everyone has health insurance.
Strongly Disagree
How would you promote healthcare coverage that is adequate, affordable and accessible for all?
Oklahoma absolutely needs to reorganize existing healthcare systems for adequate coverage that is affordable & accessible for all. Currently, there’s too much regulatory red tape preventing innovation in industry & too few healthcare providers for rural Oklahoma access. I will promote innovations and free market strategies along with collaborative programs for nonprofits and state agencies to be more efficient and more effective at local levels to reach our most vulnerable.
NATIONAL SECURITY
The best way to maintain peace is through a strong military.
Strongly Agree
IMMIGRATION
I am in favor of construction of a wall and other necessary infrastructure on our border that gives complete control over entering and exiting the United States.
Strongly Agree
State and federal funds should be denied to any public or private entity, including but not limited to sanctuary cities, that are not in compliance with immigration laws.
Strongly Agree
Who should be allowed to immigrate to the U.S. and under what circumstances?
While the United States is made up of giving people, we cannot afford to support the entire world. We need to focus immigration on people who have the education and experience to add to our country right away - doctors, engineers, proven entrepreneurs, etc. We need to limit the use of H-1B visas that allow foreign nationals to take spots at our top schools, work for our top technology companies, and take what they learn back to their home country.
EDUCATION
Taxpayer-funded public education should be guaranteed through college.
Strongly Disagree
VALUES
Judeo-Christian values established a framework of morality which is necessary for our system of limited government.
Strongly Agree
I support adding sexual orientation, gender identity and gender expression as protected classes in non-discrimination laws.
Strongly Disagree
Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.
I'm a Christian with conservative values, who believes in the right to life and the liberties outlined by The United States Constitution.
ABOUT YOU
When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and immigration, which of the following best describes you overall?
Very Conservative
Please provide publicly available information validating your answer to the previous question.
Having been a private citizen until last month, I do not have much third party proof of my beliefs. I am proud of my A rating from the Oklahoma 2nd Amendment Association (OK2A) and XX from Oklahomans for Life. My husband and I have hosted a 15 year old young man from Ukraine for 4 -6 weeks in our home, multiple times, with the intent to adopt, but, he was going to age out of the Ukranian system before the paperwork and assessment could be done. Friends of ours in Dallas already had the paperwork and assessment done so they offered to adopt him. He currently lives in Dallas with them. I have a heart for adoption and would love to help children that would otherwise have no chance at a good life.
What education or experience qualifies you to hold the office for which you seek election?
I am a college graduate from Oklahoma State University with a Bachelors degree in Hotel and Restaurant Administration. I have worked in the customer service industry since 2004. I was in management at a resort for four years. I have been a flight attendant for the past 9 years for United Airlines, as well as a small business owner with my husband in the Oklahoma Oil and Gas industry since 2018. We also have a small cattle operation that we are currently running a cow calf operation. My experience as a small business owner and a mother will help me understand the real world impact of proposed legislation.
Have you ever been convicted of a felony or been penalized for sexual misconduct? If so, please explain.
No
Is there anything else you would like voters to know about you?
As a conservative Christian, I’m committed to fighting for the liberties set forth in the constitution I believe in the most basic right to make your own decisions. I actively support parental rights, health choice and the 2nd amendment. I am pro life to my core and believe in limited government including fewer taxes and less bureaucracy. I know first hand the struggles and successes farmers, ranchers and small businesses face. I will advocate for my district neighbors and the integrity of small businesses and the Agricultural industry. I’ve held a prime seat in the tourism industry, which has set me up to be the best servant leader possible.
JUDICIAL PHILOSOPHY
I support the use of Sharia law as a basis for legislation and judicial decisions in the United States.
Strongly Disagree
CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY
Mandatory minimum sentencing should be required and enforced for violent crimes.
Strongly Agree
2ND AMENDMENT
Should teachers be allowed to carry guns at school?
Yes
What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?
Although I am okay with the restriction of keeping guns out of the hands of convicted felons, I am a big second amendment advocate and truly believe in the constitution and the God given Liberties set forth in the constitution to protect ones self and ones family. Restrictions are only going to hinder the legal and law abiding citizens of this great state, no criminal will ever follow the laws or restrictions that are put into place.
OTHER IMPORTANT ISSUES
People should be able to vote without photo identification.
Strongly Disagree
I support the legalization of recreational marijuana.
Strongly Disagree
The Electoral College should be abolished.
Strongly Disagree
In priority order, what three areas of legislation do you propose to author or sponsor if elected?
The top three areas of policy that I will be focused on initially include: 1) releasing the regulatory barriers for agriculture and livestock so Oklahoma can thrive with effective farm-to-table systems; 2) support legislative policy that reduces barriers for foster families & adoptions; 3) I want to find ways to decrease the regulations on carrying weapons in Oklahoma, which will increase our safety.
Is racism a threat to domestic security in the United States? Why or why not?
I do not believe that racism is a threat to domestic security in the United States for three main reasons. First, the idea first arose from a very liberal Congresswoman, Sheila Jackson Lee of Texas, last summer, so any discussion of this topic must be viewed with a filter to block the inherent anti-Republican, anti-President Trump bias that created it in the first place. Second, race relations in the United States are on an upswing after declining as President Obama tried to fuel divisions between the races. Third, there have been no large race riots across the country as were seen in 1965 and other years, and there are no signs of any forming soon. The largest potential internal domestic security threat I see in the next few years would result from reopening our states, cities, and businesses too slowly, and what millions of people unemployed for a long time after COVID-19 do to express their frustration.
