OTHER INFORMATION

QUESTIONNAIRE

RIGHT TO LIFE

Human life begins at conception and deserves legal protection at every stage until natural death.

Strongly Agree

Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive taxpayer funds or grants from federal, state, or local governments.

Strongly Agree

I support the Born Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act, which requires health care providers to provide life-saving treatment for infants who survive an attempted abortion.

Strongly Agree

Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?

In the event that there is a mortal threat to the mother or child that, with the advice of the OB/GYN, can't be resolved by conventional means. It should take place in a hospital setting.

ECONOMY

It is the government’s responsibility to ensure everyone has a livable income.

Disagree

Free enterprise and the right to private property are essential elements of a productive economic system.

Strongly Agree

How would you guarantee Social Security benefits for future generations?

Social Security is an expectation that millions of Americans paid into and deserve. First thing to to actually insure their funds, then don't touch it. This money should also be made to grow. Once we begin to fix government spending, the economy makes its move back up, and start paying money back into the US citizens first instead of other countries, then we will be able to guarantee that Social Security will always be here for those depending on it.

What government spending would you reduce in order to balance the budget?

Begin with foreign policy. I believe that the rest of the world should be providing as much or more support to countries in need. The US can't continue to carry the weight of the world when we have needs here with our own citizens. Border control and immigration reform. We must be able to provide for our own citizens before trying to provide for people of other countries. Continue with Trump's trade reform.

Under what circumstances should taxpayers help pay off existing student loans?

In very few situations in which the person getting them paid off is using their education as a direct benefit to the government to the well being of the American citizens.

RELIGIOUS LIBERTY

Governments should not discriminate against individuals, organizations or small businesses because of their belief that marriage is only a union of one man and one woman.

Agree

Religious liberty is at risk in the United States and deserves the highest level of protection in the law.

Agree

I promise to protect the freedom of Christians to share the Gospel and to practice Biblical principles.

Yes

What does "separation of church and state" mean to you?

Separation of church and state means exactly what it states. A church body should not directly make decisions for the state. However, our faith is built into each of us, we live by what we believe, and lead by how we believe. Faith cannot be removed from the heart of a leader, so elected officials will lead based on the faith of their own hearts and that of their constituents.

HEALTHCARE

It is the government’s responsibility to ensure everyone has health insurance.

Disagree

I support the elimination of private healthcare insurance.

Strongly Disagree

How would you promote healthcare coverage that is adequate, affordable and accessible for all?

First, allow insurance companies the ability to compete with each other. This, as with other types of insurance, would give a wide range of different options at many different price ranges. Never mandate or penalize someone for their personal choice in healthcare coverage. Second, bring drug manufacturing back to the U.S. to remove added fees, tariffs, etc from the cost and provide jobs to more Americans.

NATIONAL SECURITY

The best way to maintain peace is through a strong military.

Agree

What should the United States do to help eradicate the threat of radical Islamic terrorism?

First, not be afraid to call it what it is, Radical Islamic Terrorism. We must control our borders and lean on intelligence to monitor and neutralize credible threats. We must track the flow of money to the terror groups and cells and stop the funding at its source. Increase penalties for acts of terror and conspiring to commit terror.

IMMIGRATION

I am in favor of construction of a wall and other necessary infrastructure on our border that gives complete control over entering and exiting the United States.

Strongly Agree

Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) should be abolished.

Strongly Disagree

State and federal funds should be denied to any public or private entity, including but not limited to sanctuary cities, that are not in compliance with immigration laws.

Agree

Employers should be required to use E-verify to confirm the eligibility of their employees to work in the United States.

Strongly Agree

Who should be allowed to immigrate to the U.S. and under what circumstances?

Anyone should be allowed to LEGALLY immigrate to the United States and eventually obtain citizenship. There should be no loopholes for citizenship. They must go through every legal avenue required by our law, and they must be able to maintain lawful employment.

EDUCATION

Taxpayer-funded public education should be guaranteed through college.

Disagree

VALUES

Judeo-Christian values established a framework of morality which is necessary for our system of limited government.

Agree

I support adding sexual orientation, gender identity and gender expression as protected classes in non-discrimination laws.

Neutral

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

I was raised in The First Christian Church of Midwest City. I have chosen to live a life of service, not to judge or discriminate, and provide hope, counseling, and guidance to anyone wanting it. I am also an ordained minister.

ABOUT YOU

When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and immigration, which of the following best describes you overall?

Conservative

Please provide publicly available information validating your answer to the previous question.

Have you ever been convicted of a felony or been penalized for sexual misconduct? If so, please explain.

NO

Is there anything else you would like voters to know about you?

I feel, as a Republican, that we need more outspoken leaders willing to speak to the nation with poise and reason about conservative values. I am passionate about my views and stances and will fight for the betterment of all American citizens.

CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY

Mandatory minimum sentencing should be required and enforced for violent crimes.

Agree

2ND AMENDMENT

What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?

Any laws that are needed to restrict certain types of guns or people from owning guns are already in place. Further restrictions begin to infringe upon the constitution.

OTHER IMPORTANT ISSUES

I support BDS (boycott, divestment, and sanction) against Israel if they refuse to allow the creation of a Palestinian state.

Disagree

I support the legalization of recreational marijuana.

Neutral

Reparations should be given to people on the basis of race.

Strongly Disagree

The Electoral College should be abolished.

Strongly Disagree

In priority order, what three areas of legislation do you propose to author or sponsor if elected?

Healthcare reform Enhanced Border Control and Immigration reform Prescription Drug reform including drug prices and the opiate crisis.

Is racism a threat to domestic security in the United States? Why or why not?

It is becoming more of a threat due to the weaponizing of it by large political groups and media to attack the current administration.
