I believe abortion is murder and do not support abortion at any stage. I also believe life begins at conception and is a gift from God. No person has the right to destroy the life of a baby who is completely innocent of wrongdoing. One final note: history teaches us that some of the most unlikely children have gone on to become great leaders. Who knows what great leader, doctor, teacher or evangelist that child will become if allowed to live? We have destroyed generations of citizens and the blood of those babies is a stain on our land.

The UN is well funded by socialist based programs where US money is being abused. Here are a few: The UN Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change, The UN Development Program, United Nations Relief and Works Agency,the Global Environment Facility, etc. Other programs that need cutting or to be overhauled are: the U.S. Trade and Development Agency, U.S. Development Assistance Programs, State Department’s Assistance for Europe Eurasia and Central Asia account. There are many more.

What does "separation of church and state" mean to you?
The term ‘separation of church and state’ does not exist in our Constitution. It was used by Thomas Jefferson in a letter to the Danbury Baptists. It never meant the removal of the Bible from establishing laws, the public arena, or public schools. The Founders opposed the establishment of a national church that would determine our laws like what Britain had. Britain’s moral code was so far removed from the Bible, that religious persecution for not practicing the state-run religion was happening on a large scale. When this group expressed concern that the new Constitution would limit their religious freedoms, Jefferson responded by telling them that the separation of church and state was a guarantee that the state would never tell the church what it could or could not preach, nor would there be a state-run church that would control government. Removing God from all of our government was never conveyed in this letter and has been twisted to fit a godless society’s mode of governance.

The only way to get adequate, affordable and accessible healthcare for all is the free market system. Let the free market compete for healthcare insurance. We are an innovative people when capitalism is allowed to work. Competition is what brings pricing down. When the Government gets involved, bureaucracy takes over, bringing pricing up with over-regulation.

Anyone willing to immigrate through legal means and under vetting conditions, should be allowed to immigrate. The key is for people to respect our laws in immigration. I love immigration but not if its illegal and especially if I don't know who it is that has come into this country. Coming illegally sometimes denotes that people are coming here to do illegal things or acts of terror. This is why I fully support funding a border wall. In addition, people who come here must wish to become part of the American culture and American dream rather than re-shaping America into the country they left.

I believe in the Truths of the Word of God. Jesus is my Savior. I know He died and rose from the dead to save me from what I really deserved. I walk hand in hand with the Holy Spirit because I ask for that guidance and He is faithful to help me as I walk through this journey with Him. Our Founding Fathers believed the same thing and birthed this Nation out of that conviction. Our nation was founded on the Truths of the Word of God. Right now our nation is in an identity crisis. Are we going to return to the truths and morals taught in God's Word or ignore them and face the consequences? As for me, my values are written in Scripture with the Blood of Jesus Christ, Himself. To vary from this would be sin.

My posts on my personal Facebook page , Angela D Strohm, will validate how I feel about economic and social issues. There are core values on my campaign website, angelastrohm.com, that address a number of issues as it pertains to our state and its policies. Some of these would also be national issues.
What education or experience qualifies you to hold the office for which you seek election?
I was a schoolteacher for many years and understand the godlessness of the curriculum and of the schools themselves. I also know what has been taught in sex-ed classes and the removal of pertinent information in our history and civics classes. We are raising a generation of humanists and socialists through the curriculum. This issue is a blaring problem with our culture. It has to be reversed. My husband was in the Oklahoma House of Representatives for two terms until very liberal education groups attacked him and he lost his seat to a very liberal republican. During his time in office, I learned what it took to be in office and also what it took to stand up for values, especially when the lobbyist are always nearby. I also belong to City Elders: a group seeking to bring back Biblical values to government.

Is there anything else you would like voters to know about you?
I have had a heart for government and have been involved in grassroots politics for many years. My heart has focused on the return of our nation back to the Biblical foundations that it was established upon. I also believe that our local churches should be the watchman on the wall for our nation, and we have failed in that responsibility. There have been torchbearers like those groups asking for this survey, and it is an honor to share my heart with you, but by and large, our local churches have stepped back from the political world with devastating effects on our culture. My goal in running for public office is to do my part and engage in the battle for the future of our children and our nation.

I am a strong supporter of the 2nd Amendment. The intent is rooted in the fundamental right of the people to keep and bear arms to protect their individual liberties promised to us under the Constitution. In other words, I have the right to protect myself and my family. I am a member of the NRA and OK2A. I will support legislation that protects second amendment principles and will oppose any effort, such as limiting ammunition sales or other free market restrictions, to circumvent that right.

Is racism a threat to domestic security in the United States? Why or why not?
America was designed to be the most respecting society in history because of Biblical foundations that teach that we are to treat everyone with love and dignity. The ultimate result was the greatest freedoms and economic prosperity of people of all races, faiths and beliefs. Our free enterprise system is blind to color, race, religion, age or socioeconomic status. It levels the playing field so that all have the opportunity to succeed or fail. There is an agenda by those who wish to re-shape American culture and they are using racism as one of their most effective tools to push for social justice and reparations. Racism is also being pushed on school campuses as our founders are being mischaracterized, thereby undermining the founding of our nation. Again, the goal is to re-shape America and these groups are well funded. They focus on our racial shortcomings rather than highlighting the amazing progress we have made as a nation. This mindset is a threat to our nation.
