QUESTIONNAIRE*
RIGHT TO LIFE
Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive funds from federal, state, or local governments (including Title X grants).
Strongly Agree
Funds currently directed at abortion providers should be redirected to adoption providers.
I support 'aid in dying' laws which legalize assisted suicide and euthanasia.
Agree
The right to life is the first inalienable right in the US Constitution. As much as we all don’t want others to die, a person has a right to take their own life, whether they do it themselves or have assistance. We all have different thresholds for pain and suffering, and there may come a time in our lives where our endurance runs out, either mentally, physically, or both. Sometimes living with a certain condition is crueler than the act of taking one’s own life.
Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?
The right to life is the first inalienable right in the US Constitution. A new life begins at the point of conception; thus, mother and baby constitute two separate and legal beings, both protected individually under the Constitution. Exceptions should be allowed in cases where: 1) the mother’s life is at risk; 2) the pregnancy was criminally forced; or 3) when the baby would be stillborn.
ECONOMY
Redistribution of income is needed to lessen the gap between the wealthy and working classes.
Strongly Disagree
Redistribution is theft.
The government should cut spending in order to reduce the national debt.
Strongly Agree
Amend the US Constitution to require a balanced budget except during a formally declared war (Congressionally approved); require all expenditures to be tied to prioritized national objectives; prohibit omnibus spending bills; prohibit continuing resolutions; terminate Congressional benefits and pensions; institute entitlement reform; modernize government administration; and increase taxes on foreign direct investment that is not critical to US national security.
What changes, if any, should be made to the tax code?
Amend the US Constitution to require a balanced budget except during a formally declared war (Congressionally approved); require all expenditures to be tied to prioritized national objectives; prohibit omnibus spending bills; prohibit continuing resolutions; terminate Congressional benefits and pensions; institute entitlement reform; modernize government administration; and increase taxes on foreign direct investment that is not critical to US national security.
RELIGIOUS LIBERTY
Religious liberty is at risk in the United States and deserves the highest level of protection in the law.
Strongly Agree
The government may not dictate, legislate, or adjudicate any one religion over and above, or to the exclusion of, any other religion. Government may not prohibit the free exercise of religion at any place or time, including on public grounds.
Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.
Strongly Disagree
The government may not dictate, legislate, or adjudicate any one religion over and above, or to the exclusion of, any other religion. Government may not prohibit the free exercise of religion at any place or time, including on public grounds.
What should be the relationship between the church and the state?
The government may not dictate, legislate, or adjudicate any one religion over and above, or to the exclusion of, any other religion. Government may not prohibit the free exercise of religion at any place or time, including on public grounds.
HEALTHCARE
Under what circumstances (if any) should a government, school, or employer be allowed to require vaccinations?
Vaccinations should only be required for military personnel and only after the vaccine has met the full scrutiny and testing required under normal protocols and procedures.
What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D)Tax-payer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be de-funded.
C.Healthcare is a service, not a right. Government’s role is to administer policies that facilitate the streamlining of health service processes and systems in a way that improves access and reduces costs. Healthcare policy should appropriately address the input-side of the system including food safety, standards, and labeling. Additional improvements include but are not limited to: 1) Accept preexisting conditions; 2) Penalize prescription price gouging; 3) Mandate provider menus with listed pricing; 4) Incorporate non-traditional and holistic treatment methods; 5) Eliminate hidden billing; and 6) Focus on health maintenance and prevention education.
NATIONAL SECURITY
With regard to America's foreign policy, which view most closely resembles yours: A) The United States should intervene whenever freedom is threatened. B) The United States should selectively help countries trying to grow democracy and fight tyranny. C) The United States has become too involved in others' policies and should remain focused on issues regarding our own sovereignty unless in imminent danger. D) The United States should stay out of foreign conflicts completely.
B.The United States is a beacon of freedom to people around the world. Just because we could intervene in hostilities or act in support of other people and nations, it doesn’t mean that we are the only ones with the obligation to ensure human rights and freedoms are protected. All of humanity is responsible for all of humanity, we just have a greater capacity to do something about it, and we should do our best to live up to that moral obligation.
I support the Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement to pressure Israel to withdraw from occupied territories, remove the separation barrier in the West Bank, allow full equality for Arab-Palestinian citizens of Israel, and promote the rights of Palestinian refugees.
Neutral
If Islamic countries allow full equality and rights for non-Muslims (including Jews), then this reciprocal effort would be warranted.
The Chinese Communist Party poses serious military, cyber security, intellectual property, and global economic threats to the United States.
Strongly Agree
It's worse than you think.
What should the United States do to help eradicate the threat of Islamic terrorism?
Prohibit the establishment and practice of sharia law in the US due to its incompatibility with the US Constitution; prohibit charitable contributions, foreign direct investment, and immigration from nations that support or harbor terrorists; increase economic opportunities for populations vulnerable to terrorist recruitment both domestically and internationally; and defeat state sponsors of terrorism.
IMMIGRATION
The U.S. should do more to physically secure the southern border.
Strongly Agree
Build the wall and keep Title 42.
State and federal funds shall be denied to any public or private entity, such as a sanctuary city, that is not in compliance with immigration laws.
Strongly Agree
Yes, that is a good start. I will author/sponsor legislation mandating the Department of Justice to review the conduct of every government official in the country, in all three branches of government, whether elected or appointed, regardless of political affiliation, to determine criminal culpability and liability pertaining to obstruction of justice if they supported sanctuary cities, or aided or abetted illegal alien activities or persons.
Who should be allowed to immigrate to the U.S. and under what circumstances?
Immigration is a pillar of our national identity, but the rule-of-law is the foundation upon which that and all other pillars stand. The process of immigrating to the United States must be done lawfully. Those who have the skill, aptitude, and desire to make America their new home, to make America a better place, and who pledge their lives and allegiance to this great nation should be allowed to immigrate.
VALUES
Sexual orientation and gender identity should be protected classes in non-discrimination laws.
Strongly Disagree
Behavior is not Constitutionally protected. A person is free to believe who/what they are, but others must not be compelled to believe it.
I agree with Critical Race Theory (CRT) which asserts that the institutions in the United States are fundamentally racist.
Strongly Disagree
CRT is the antithesis of the U.S. Constitution and government institutions are not racist.
Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.
Born again Christian that sees God in the details of everyday life. I am made whole through the sacrifice of Jesus. I'm grateful every day for who I am and the blessings I have been given. Every person must walk their own path, and find their own way to faith, whatever they may call it. My beliefs belong to me, and yours to you, but if we can converse in peace and listen to each other's hearts, we shall both be better people. And if you must hurt someone else to get to your heaven or paradise, then you aren't in faith and you aren't serving God.
ELECTIONS AND VOTING
People should be able to vote without photo identification.
Strongly Disagree
Absolutely not. Photo ID must be required.
What laws would you propose to change present voting practices?
Remove electronic voting, mandate voter ID, mandate two-party presence at all polling stations with neither party having more than 10% more polling officials than the other party, move election day to the first full weekend in November with both days being open for voting, and restrict absentee voting to those who live/work overseas and those that have a medical condition that makes them physically incapable of going to the polling site to vote.
EQUALITY
Reparations should be given to people on the basis of race.
Strongly Disagree
Reparations are not a path to justice.
Is racism a threat to domestic security in the United States? Why or why not?
While racism is ever-present and ever-repugnant, it's presence does not pose a threat to domestic security. That being said, the purveyors of racism, the race-baiters, those who profit from fanning the flames of racism, aligned and enabled by a left-wing media establishment that prides, feeds, and supports itself by dramatizing, marketing, and manipulating the divisive rhetoric of each and every episode, are all a far greater threat to domestic security and domestic tranquility.
ENERGY & ENVIRONMENT
I support the use of hydraulic fracking to extract oil and natural gas resources.
Neutral
Which comes closest to your view? A) Stricter environmental laws and regulations cost too many jobs and hurt the economy. B) Stricter environmental laws and regulations are worth the cost.
Being a conservationist, I believe in prudently using what nature has to offer by balancing the needs of nature and the economy.
ABOUT YOU
When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and religious liberty, which of the following best describes you overall?
Conservative
Please provide publicly available information, including interviews and media reports, validating your answer to the previous question (other than your website).
Did not answer
Have you ever been convicted of a felony or been penalized in either civil or criminal court for sexual misconduct? If so, please explain.
No.
What else would you like voters to know about you, including your legislative priorities?
Most importantly, I will author/sponsor legislation mandating voter ID and ballot security; secondly, legislation that mandates the Department of Justice to review the conduct of every government official in the country, in all three branches of government, whether elected or appointed, regardless of political affiliation, to determine criminal culpability and liability pertaining to obstruction of justice if they supported sanctuary cities, aided or abetted illegal alien activities or persons, or willfully violated the constitutional right to keep and bear arms; and third, legislation that specifically addresses and mutes the socialist agenda (Saul Alinsky's guide).
CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY
Police officers should be personally immune from prosecution for conduct consistent with departmental policy (qualified immunity) while on duty.
Agree
Law enforcement must have qualified immunity but they must also be held accountable when they break the law, just like everyone else.
I support redirecting funds from police departments to mental health and community programs.
Strongly Disagree
I support redirecting funds from non-essential government programs to support police departments and mental health programs.
2ND AMENDMENT
What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?
To keep (have) and bear (use) arms is the quintessential right of the U.S. Constitution that prohibits governmental infringement upon individual ownership of any arms, guns included, and government officials are obligated to protect that right along with the rest of our constitutional rights when they swear their oath of office. Specifically, regarding firearms, the government should support gun safety and education for all citizens.
Victims of gun violence should be able to sue firearms dealers and manufacturers.
Strongly Disagree
We don’t allow victims of car crashes to sue automakers unless there was a known manufacturer defect that may have led to or caused the accident.
