All the unnecessary spending. We need to get rid of what I call “corporate welfare” which is usually done through refundable tax credits. Over the last few years these have amounted to hundreds of millions of dollars here in Oklahoma. We need to let the free market work and not give handouts.

Through price transparency and free markets. When you know what a procedure will cost ahead of time you can shop around like you would for anything else. Through competition it will make healthcare more affordable and accessible. Examples would be lasik and some plastic surgeries.

I believe the Bible is the inspired Word of GOD. Man is a created being, made in GOD’s image but through Adam’s transgression, sin came into the world. Salvation is the gift of GOD to man through faith in Jesus Christ. The new birth is necessary for redemption. The Baptism of the Holy Ghost is a gift and is accompanied by evidence of speaking in other tongues. I believe in living a life of holiness and have a biblical world view.

I have experience in a wide array of areas and have overcome obstacles in life to succeed. I have been successfully self employed, with employees and understand the struggles of small businesses. I have been with Directv / AT&T for going on a decade and I understand the struggles and bureaucracy of the corporate world. I was on the platform committee for the Oklahoma GOP and worked to iron out a platform that passed on the first reading at the state convention in 2019, which is the first time in a long time that the Oklahoma GOP has had a platform. I have witnessed first hand how legislation affects the average person.

I couldn’t in good conscience sit on the sidelines anymore and watch our God given rights continue to be eroded away and watch politicians doing nothing to address the issues we have or soft selling bills that change nothing. I want our kids and grandkids to enjoy their God given rights and not have to deal with issues that we have left for them to face because we lacked the fortitude to resolve them.

I propose to author a bill to eliminate sales tax on food and clothing. During this time of uncertainty this will allow the average person and the underprivileged to be able to have their budgets go further for the essentials. I will propose a bill that if you are retired and your home is paid off that you will be exempt from property tax for your primary residence. There is no need in grandma and grandpa losing their home that they have worked for all their life because they can’t pay their ever increasing taxes, which is out stripping their fixed income. I will sponsor a bill to authorize the sale of unneeded and unused state government property. In light of the coved 19 crisis, we have learned that we don’t need as much office space as before due telecommuting and virtual offices.

Is racism a threat to domestic security in the United States? Why or why not?
Yes it is and I believe it is being fueled by politics and what the media says. Over the last 12 years we have regressed in race relations. With politicians on both sides trying to drive a wedge in race relations to win elections. This has fed the rhetoric of some fringe radicle groups.
