QUESTIONNAIRE

RIGHT TO LIFE

Human life begins at conception and deserves legal protection at every stage until natural death.

Strongly Agree

Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive taxpayer funds or grants from federal, state, or local governments.

Strongly Agree

Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?

Abortion is a heinous procedure involving the destruction of human life. Abortion is only appropriate if the life of the mother is endangered by the pregnancy and there is no other resort to save the life of the mother. Any other justification for abortion is invalid.

ECONOMY

It is the government’s responsibility to ensure everyone has a livable income.

Strongly Disagree

Free enterprise and the right to private property are essential elements of a productive economic system.

Strongly Agree

Congress should pass a balanced budget amendment to the Constitution.

Agree

Socialism provides a robust foundation for a stable economy.

Strongly Disagree

What is the best way to bring down unemployment?

Remove restrictions on job creators, such as burdensome regulations and taxes, especially for start-ups. Enact and enforce Right to Work laws to ensure union leaders are held accountable to their membership. Create "enterprise zones" in depressed areas to encourage investment. Offer incentives to private industry to partner with educational institutions for vocational training. Phase out and eliminate minimum-wage laws. Phase out and eliminate taxes on wages, which are disincentives to working.

What role should government play in boosting the economy?

Reduce burdensome regulatory burden on industry, commerce and agriculture. Reduce the tax burden across the board to include individuals and companies, ultimately eliminating all taxes on wages and income. Reduce federal government spending, especially in social welfare programs and education, confining government expenditures to constitutionally-appropriate purposes (military & veterans, federal law enforcement, diplomacy/embassies, postal activities, etc.)

RELIGIOUS LIBERTY

Governments should not discriminate against individuals, organizations or business owners because of their deeply held religious beliefs.

Strongly Agree

Governments should not penalize those who define marriage as between one man and one woman; no other definition of marriage should be legalized or supported with taxpayer or public funds.

Strongly Agree

Religious liberty is at risk in the United States and deserves the highest level of protection in the law.

Strongly Agree

HEALTHCARE

It is the government’s responsibility to ensure everyone has health insurance.

Disagree

How would you promote healthcare coverage that is adequate, affordable and accessible for all?

EDUCATION

Tuition-free public education should be guaranteed through college.

Strongly Disagree

VALUES

Judeo-Christian values established a framework of morality which permitted our system of limited government.

Strongly Agree

Any teaching to children on sex education in public schools must include all contraceptive methods, and should not show preference to abstinence.

Disagree

People should be allowed to use public restrooms, showers, and changing rooms based on "gender identity."

Strongly Disagree

Free speech is under attack on public university and college campuses.

Strongly Agree

Parents should be the primary authority in decisions affecting their minor children.

Strongly Agree

What in the nature of mankind caused America’s Founders to carefully define, separate, and limit powers in the Constitution?

The Founders correctly understood the nature of mankind as articulated in the Holy Bible, that is, that man, while created sinless and in the very image of the Creator, rebelled against the Creator and in so doing inherited a sinful, rebellious, selfish nature. The Creator image is tainted and mankind is irredeemable outside the grace of the Creator. The Founders created a system of government that acknowledged the God-image as well as the selfish nature of mankind.

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

There is one God, recognizable in three Persons, the Trinity, namely, Father, Son, & Holy Spirit. God created all that is known and knowable during the Creation week as described in the Book of Genesis. Sin entered the world through the rebellion of the first humans and perpetuates through each person born. Father-God sent Son-God to the world via virgin birth to live a life without sin and to become the perfect atoning sacrifice for all humans. Holy Spirit-God leads us to holiness.

ABOUT YOU

When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and immigration, which of the following best describes you overall?

No Answer

What education or experience qualifies you to hold the office for which you seek election?

I studied history, which is the study of people and the way they react to the various stimuli of life. There is nothing new under the sun. I am a student of the Bible and colonial American history. The system of government we were given works beautifully if only we will let it. I am an educator and care about families and children. Our system is designed to enable each person to discover their heart's desire, to pursue/achieve their dreams and to prosper.

E-mail address and phone number for voters to reach you:

Is there anything else you would like voters to know about you?

My adult life has been dedicated to service, in the US Navy, and as a teacher, employee and volunteer. I intend for my service in public office to be a continuation of my efforts to improve the lives of the people around me. My knowledge of our history and of the biblical principles upon which our nation was founded enable me to see where & why we have gone wrong. I am committed to restoring the values and principles of our Founders so all Virginians can achieve their dreams, enabled by education, fairness and a level economic playing field, as well as a sense of personal security only found in a nation where the rule of law is the reality and justice is blind and equal.

JUDICIAL PHILOSOPHY

Islamic law (Sharia) should take precedence over national and state laws where there are Islamic majority communities in the U. S.

CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY

I support the death penalty.

Agree

Mandatory minimum sentencing should be required and enforced for violent crimes.

Strongly Agree

2ND AMENDMENT
