Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?
Only in life-threatening circumstances to the mother, rape, or incest should abortion be considered. As for the latter two listed, the option for adoption and counseling should be considered first and foremost before the last-resort option of abortion.

What does "separation of church and state" mean to you?
Government isn’t to mandate regulations in any church. It cannot tell us to not gather, to not pray, to not worship, to not sing praises, or what to and not to preach behind the pulpit, period. And, to further explain my answer to Question #4: Government has no right whatsoever to define what is or isn’t a marriage. It’s my firm belief that the covenant of marriage has been bastardized in our nation, perverting what it truly means to be married, and government incentives entice couples to make this lifelong commitment designed by the Father with improper motivation. This is one of the most subtle and egregious trespasses of the State into the Church. Eliminate government incentive in marriages, and only those who have the proper heart-motive to commit to a covenant marriage will do so. And, I contend that this phrase has been twisted by the enemy; it should read “separation of State and Church”.

How would you promote healthcare coverage that is adequate, affordable and accessible for all?
Government healthcare is nothing short of an unmitigated disaster. Affordable healthcare can only come from the private sector, and I’m open to any/all ideas to help the transition go smoothly and reasonably.

Who should be allowed to immigrate to the U.S. and under what circumstances?
America IS the Great Melting Pot. Our country was founded on immigrants seeking a better life through an intricate combination of unity and rugged individualism and while our culture has many flavors, it is DISTINCT and unique culture, nevertheless. Those who desire to be woven into the fabric and become a piece of the tapestry that makes our nation what it is are welcome, so long as as the parameters of the pathway to legal citizenship are followed. I firmly believe that if our grade schools taught our children the history of our country and how its government was designed to function as it’s required to be learned by all legal immigrants, we wouldn’t have this turmoil that we are facing today. Just as we reject the fallen world to become citizens in God’s Kingdom, immigrants are renouncing their country of origin to be a part of something greater, and I embrace those who do so as family!

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.
I’m a born-again, Spirit-filled Christian, upholding the principles that there’s nothing we can do to deserve salvation. Never hold anyone in contempt in their personal journey with the Lord. Show love, encouraging all to draw intimately closer to God everyday while we contend with our individual fallen natures. We’re all a work-in-progress. I firmly believe it’s possible for ANYONE to be a born-again believer, WITHOUT ANY PREREQUISITES. It isn’t up to us as the Church to decide when the Lord deals with issues in our lives; such things as that are in God’s timing. Love and befriend those where they are, just as Christ did for us in our sin. He’ll get us there in His glorious timing and not ours, so be prayerfully patient and kind to any and all who are still “under construction”, most notably to those who are easily susceptible to feeling unloved and rejected. As for the parameters of leadership in the church, the Word is clear on this issue, and I see no need to expound on that.

ABOUT YOU
When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and immigration, which of the following best describes you overall?
Very Conservative
Please provide publicly available information validating your answer to the previous question.
Borders need protecting. No other country on the planet thinks so polar-opposite than us on this issue. I’m completely for immigration, but with common-sense protocols. Reform should be put on the table for discussion to find a reasonable solutions that doesn’t make our border weak and vulnerable. As for illegals who’ve established lives here, these must be handled on an individual basis, and not with a blanketed policy. There is no such thing as a superior/inferior ethnicity. MLK is a hero of mine. EVERYONE is a “person of color” and our citizens are all members of the American race. Everyone is a flawed being in need of salvation, and we are to extend grace and mercy to others, just as Christ did for us. Until the Korean Conflict, we didn’t meddle in foreign matters. That national policy needs to come back. We’re not to be the World Police.

What education or experience qualifies you to hold the office for which you seek election?
For many years, I’ve sensed in my spirit that I would eventually be drawn into politics. However, I never pursued it personally, so as to not advance any personal agenda of my own. It was last December when I received a text from the Wake (County) Republican Party, requesting me to run against an uncontested democrat incumbent. After it came to light to them that I’ve been a Libertarian since 2016, they wanted to know, if they contacted the Wake Libertarian Party to pitch me as a candidate to run for them in my district, would I be willing to do that. It all sounded absurd enough to say, “Sure, why not?” Wake LP contacted me the very next day, and I sensed that this was God tapping me on the shoulder to step into the political ring. Seeing the divisive polarization facing our nation today, I believe that the timing is right.

Is there anything else you would like voters to know about you?
My prayer after reading Hebrews 10:23-25 on 8/2/20: Father, What has happened to us, as a nation and as your Bride? We’ve allowed ourselves to be lulled into complacency, compliant to the whims of a government that’s run by a fallen, corrupt people who dictate edicts based on adolescent emotions and thought. “Safety-ism” is now our nation’s religion. We’re told to follow, WITHOUT QUESTION, mandates put forth by the human collective, even to our own peril, because the human collective refuses to recognize that death cannot be controlled in a world that is owned by death itself. Father, only in You can we escape death, and I commit my life to You, even in these perilous times, where the human collective wishes to destroy us in order to exalt their own existence. Forgive us, Lord. We’ve failed You as a nation and as your Bride. May your grace and mercy fall upon us and save us from ourselves, allowing us to be who You need us to be before the Return of Your Son.

What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?
Convicted, violent offenders have willfully put their 2nd Amendment right on the proverbial chopping block through poor choices in life, and thusly should receive a suspension of that right for a minimum time of five years, after which, though a system similar to a parole board, each case is to be determined on an individual basis every five years after. As for gun safety/education, I firmly believe it should be taught in schools. There’s a stigma and fear that of guns that needs to be quashed.

In priority order, what three areas of legislation do you propose to author or sponsor if elected?
1) Defend School Choice, to ensure parents the ability to put their hard-earned tax dollars towards the education that they desire for their child/children. 2) Create Housing Affordability, through the loosening of government zoning restrictions/regulations for private property owners. 3) Help Entrepreneurial Advancement, through the deregulation of government-controlled monopolies and entities (i.e.: ABC stores, charity fundraising restrictions, etc.).
