QUESTIONNAIRE

RIGHT TO LIFE

Under what circumstances should an elective abortion be allowed?

I believe that life begins at conception. Therefore, I believe that the only circumstances that should allow an abortion are to save the life of the mother and instances of rape. Having known personally of situations where children have been raped (such as a 12 year old being raped by her mother's boyfriend), I believe the life of the rape victim is equally important to God, just as the life of the mother in circumstances where her life is at risk.

Chemical abortion drugs should meet essential safety standards (such as in-person consultation with a medical doctor) and require reporting to gather evidence on reactions and outcomes.

Strongly Agree

I have voted on multiple measures to eliminate chemical abortions in Oklahoma. I believe any regulation surrounding avenues for abortion should be heavily regulated.

Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive taxpayer funds from federal, state, or local governments (including Title X grants).

Strongly Agree

I support 'aid in dying' laws which legalize assisted suicide and euthanasia.

Strongly Disagree

ECONOMY

Free enterprise and the right to private property are essential elements of a productive economic system.

Strongly Agree

What is your position on the minimum wage?

Free market should establish wages. The push to establish a $15.00 minimum wage will kill small businesses in this state and cripple our economy.

Should environmental and social issues, like ESG (environmental, social, and governance) ratings, be used as criteria in deciding where to invest public monies?

Yes

RELIGIOUS LIBERTY

Under what circumstances can government close churches?

There is a separation of church and state; I don't believe the government has a place in closing churches.

Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.

Strongly Disagree

HEALTHCARE

What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D) Taxpayer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be defunded.

C- Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary.

Under what circumstances (if any) should a government, school, or employer be allowed to require vaccinations?

I don't believe government or schools should force vaccinations. As an employer, I choose not to require vaccinations and also encourage other business owners to make that same choice. I believe these choices should be that of the individual.

NATIONAL SECURITY

The Chinese Communist Party poses serious military, cyber security, intellectual property, and global economic threats to the United States.

Strongly Agree

Is the United States' relationship with Israel important, and if so why?

Yes. Israel and the United States have strong economic and national security policies that are imperative to regional security. International trade between the two nations helps stabilize both nations’ economies, but most importantly, our commitment to fighting against terrorist organizations alongside them makes them a strategic partner in fighting for safety here at home.

IMMIGRATION

The U.S. should do more to physically secure the southern border.

Strongly Agree

The Biden Administration's complete failure to provide the American People with a secure border has caused a crisis that we should all fear. The drugs, the known terrorists, and additional crime in our country can all be attributed to his incompetence. I have voted on measures to allow our state to control this issue within our borders.

EDUCATION

The state should fund education by allowing dollars to follow the child through programs which protect parents' freedom to choose their child's school – public, private, or homeschool.

Strongly Agree

I voted in support of tax rebate programs for private and homeschool, while also supporting teacher raises, paid maternity leave, and record funding measures to support public education.

VALUES

Children are the most vulnerable members of society and must be protected from abuse, including gender ideology, grooming, and bodily mutilation.

Strongly Agree

I have voted in support of every measure to prevent parents from allowing children to have gender-affirming surgeries and access to medical treatments, such as medications, that cause hormone blocking for minors.

Parents should have the right to make decisions for their minor children.

Strongly Agree

Yes, as long as those decisions are not harmful to the children long-term, such as gender transition.

Taxpayer funds should be used to provide gender transition services.

Strongly Disagree

Absolutely not! I voted to defund OU if they refused to stop this type of treatment options for children.

Marriage is a God-ordained, sacred and legal union of one man and one woman. No government has the authority to alter this definition.

Strongly Agree

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

I am a born-again Christian who, although falls short daily, believes Christ died to give me a chance to live with my Father in Heaven. I have grown up knowing Christ and I am raising my children to choose a life of Christ. We are active at our church and church camp, participate in ministries in our church, and find ways to live our faith out loud so that others may see Him through our actions.

ELECTIONS AND VOTING

People should be able to vote without photo identification.

Strongly Disagree

I have voted in favor of measures to add photos onto voter identification cards.

States should join the National Popular Vote Interstate Compact which makes the Electoral College irrelevant.

Strongly Disagree

EQUALITY

Is racism a threat to domestic security in the United States? Why or why not?

Absolutely! I believe the Obama administration divided our country worse than it’s ever been in regard to racism. The rise of Black Lives Matter has increased hate and reverse-racism in this country.

I agree with Critical Race Theory (CRT) which asserts that the institutions in the United States are fundamentally racist.

Strongly Disagree

I have voted to eliminate CRT in our state schools and universities.

Biological males should not be allowed to participate in women's sports or occupy biological women's spaces whether it be bathrooms, locker rooms, sorority houses, women's shelters, or prison.

Strongly Agree

I recently passed the Women’s Bill of Rights, making this behavior illegal in our state.

ENERGY & ENVIRONMENT

Which comes closest to your view? (Select all that apply) A) Stricter environmental laws and regulations cost too many jobs and hurt the economy. B) Stricter environmental laws and regulations are worth the cost. C) Stricter environmental laws undermine U.S. energy independence and deter development of reliable electricity sources. D) Climate change is real and requires urgent policy action.

A- Stricter environmental laws and regulations cost too many jobs and hurt the economy; and C- Stricter environmental laws undermine energy dependence and deter development of reliable electricity sources.

What do you believe is the most reliable energy source that will supply the growing demand for electricity?

I am supportive of the hydrogen energy industry and the research we’ve invested in over the past few years to help develop this source. I believe it has the capacity to meet growing energy demands and I am proud that Oklahoma is being a leader in it.

ABOUT YOU

Have you ever been penalized for sexual misconduct in either civil or criminal court? If so, please explain.

No

Have you ever been convicted of a felony? If so, please explain.

No

What do you think is the general purpose of government?

To provide a strong military presence and protect civilians from harm, oversee public education and public infrastructure, and to ensure our freedoms and liberties are not compromised.

When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and religious liberty, which of the following best describes you overall?

Very Conservative

I was recognized by CPAC in March of 2024 for my conservative leadership in the Oklahoma Senate.

CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY

I support redirecting funds from police departments to community programs.

Strongly Disagree

2ND AMENDMENT

What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?

I believe reasonable background checks at the state level are helpful. Additionally, I believe this is a local control issue and I believe each community is different. I believe locally elected officials should determine what their community needs are regarding public safety and make decisions based on their needs.

Should teachers be allowed to carry guns at school?

Yes
