QUESTIONNAIRE*
RIGHT TO LIFE
Human life begins at conception and deserves legal protection at every stage until natural death.
Strongly Agree
Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive taxpayer funds or grants from federal, state, or local governments.
Strongly Agree
I support the Born Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act, which requires health care providers to provide life-saving treatment for infants who survive an attempted abortion.
Strongly Agree
Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?
Never. We are all perfectly formed in the womb and by no means are we to second guess God's decision of placing a life there.
ECONOMY
It is the government’s responsibility to ensure everyone has a livable income.
Did not answer
Free enterprise and the right to private property are essential elements of a productive economic system.
Did not answer
What government spending would you reduce in order to balance the budget?
By working to stop the over reach of the government and letting the local regions, counties and cities work to better the local population, there would be a large reduction of control.
RELIGIOUS LIBERTY
Governments should not discriminate against individuals, organizations or small businesses because of their belief that marriage is only a union of one man and one woman.
Strongly Agree
Governments should define marriage as between one man and one woman; no other definition of marriage should be legalized or supported with taxpayer or public funds.
Strongly Agree
Religious liberty is at risk in the United States and deserves the highest level of protection in the law.
Strongly Agree
I promise to protect the freedom of Christians to share the Gospel and to practice Biblical principles.
Yes
What does "separation of church and state" mean to you?
This is very important so that each person can worship as they want (or not) without interference from the government. This keeps the government from ever making a national religion or force the worship of only one person or god.
HEALTHCARE
It is the government’s responsibility to ensure everyone has health insurance.
Strongly Disagree
How would you promote healthcare coverage that is adequate, affordable and accessible for all?
The buzz topic has been "Affordable Insurance" for many years now, however, the Goliath is the cost of basic medical services. This includes prescription drugs as well. I have spoken to many people in my area and all across the nation and have many examples where people have chose not to get basic medical care simply because of cost.
NATIONAL SECURITY
The best way to maintain peace is through a strong military.
Agree
IMMIGRATION
I am in favor of construction of a wall and other necessary infrastructure on our border that gives complete control over entering and exiting the United States.
Strongly Agree
State and federal funds should be denied to any public or private entity, including but not limited to sanctuary cities, that are not in compliance with immigration laws.
Strongly Disagree
Who should be allowed to immigrate to the U.S. and under what circumstances?
Those who have a desire to become a productive citizen. Those who go thru due process and have been vetted properly and deemed safe for entry.
EDUCATION
Taxpayer-funded public education should be guaranteed through college.
Strongly Disagree
VALUES
Judeo-Christian values established a framework of morality which is necessary for our system of limited government.
Strongly Agree
I support adding sexual orientation, gender identity and gender expression as protected classes in non-discrimination laws.
Strongly Disagree
Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.
There is 1 God, 1 Son and the Holy Spirit. Jesus, His one and only son, died on a cross as a perfect sacrifice for the sins of all. By doing so, the temple veil was ripped in to, from top to bottom, showing that it was God himself that opened a way for all sinners to come directly to him in confession of sins, without having another go for us as an intercessor. The ONLY way to heaven after this life is over, is to accept these things and receive Him as that perfect sacrifice, repenting of our sins and striving to be the example he as required us to be. Without this, we are only destined to eternity in hell.
ABOUT YOU
When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and immigration, which of the following best describes you overall?
Very Conservative

What education or experience qualifies you to hold the office for which you seek election?
I am not a career politician, business owner or lawyer. My experience has come from being a husband, father, worker, citizen, minister..... the list goes on. If we keep electing people with the same back grounds, and keep getting the same results, then we need to change it up and rethink what we have been doing. The old cliché goes, "The Lord doesn't always call the qualified, but qualifies the called".
Have you ever been convicted of a felony or been penalized for sexual misconduct? If so, please explain.
No.
Is there anything else you would like voters to know about you?
For 10 generations my family has resided here in Christian County. I am blessed to have grown up here where family values and traditions are strong. As a child I attended Victory Bapt. Church where I grew in my faith, dedication and reliance on God’s strength. After graduating Ozark High School in 1988, I attended SBU where I married and started a family. After graduating I worked as an executive for the Boy Scouts of America in Colorado. After my time there was done, I was blessed to work in ministry on church staff as ed/youth minister and later, directing Christian camps in TX and here in MO. I have experienced struggles and joys of fatherhood, family life, the economy and of course, the stress of seeing the political discord. You have never seen my name on a ballot before so you. JUDICIAL PHILOSOPHY
I support the use of Sharia law as a basis for legislation and judicial decisions in the United States.
Strongly Disagree
CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY
Mandatory minimum sentencing should be required and enforced for violent crimes.
Strongly Agree
2ND AMENDMENT
Should teachers be allowed to carry guns at school?
Yes
What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?
As an NRA member and endorsed by the NRA, I don't believe in restrictions here. I am a supporter of the 2nd amendment completely.
OTHER IMPORTANT ISSUES
People should be able to vote without photo identification.
Strongly Disagree
I support the legalization of recreational marijuana.
Strongly Disagree
The Electoral College should be abolished.
Strongly Disagree
In priority order, what three areas of legislation do you propose to author or sponsor if elected?
1. Pro-family legislation. This is a broad spectrum but this would mean anything from the killing of our unborn and domestic violence issues to family reform when it comes to divorce, custody, child support and adult education. 2. Working to bring back more control to the local school districts and away from the state level. Our teachers, school counselors, administrators and parents know our kids better then any politician ever will. By standardizing our educational process, we are setting our kids up for failure and making our teachers teach to a test and not to the weaknesses of the individual student. 3. Medical Industry Pricing. As stated in a previous question, our medical costs have gotten out of hand. When we see a one month NEEDED prescription cost more then a paycheck, we have a HUGE problem. Our medical industry has taken advantage of people too long when it comes to cost.
Is racism a threat to domestic security in the United States? Why or why not?
Very much so. There has and always will be a racism problem, but that is only because there has and always been sin in the world. With so much anger presently controlling people, it has gotten bigger. The larger the group gets, the more threatening they become to controlling cities, counties, states and beyond.
