My beliefs propose an agenda that will promote the health care, education, and financial security of all Iowans. I subscribe to the Republican Party’s ideology of American conservatism that incorporates both economic policies and social values. I support lower taxes, free market capitalism, increased military spending, gun rights and deregulation.

I have twenty plus years experience as a servant-leader; my roles entail, but are limited to, serving as an AmeriCorps Vista, Sister Cities Commissioner, Governor’s Advisory Council member, Department of Human Services Fellow for Public Service, United Nations-USA, UNA Women Co-Chair, Invest Early Coalition member and Commission on the Status of Women delegate. Moreover, my Bachelors of Science in Community Health Promotion, Graduate Certificate in Nonprofit Management, Graduate Certificate in Conflict Mediation, Masters of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies, doctoral studies in population health, higher education and Christian counseling qualify me to hold the office of senator.
