What education or experience qualifies you to hold the office for which you seek election?
I spent 28 years as an educator for the Colorado Dept. of Corrections. I watched the endless spending of public money on frivolous purchases. I know how to talk with people. My last assignment in the army I was made a Sargent so I could give orders. They put me in charge of a million dollar budget and the training of 25,000 troops a Ft. Lewis.

Is there anything else you would like voters to know about you?
I came to Pueblo right out of the army for college. I did not plan on staying after graduating but I meet my wife at school and 32 years and 6 children later(many foster children too) I stayed. I retired after 28 years with the dept. of correction and a few with school district 60. I live 35 years in House District 47 I think I know the people who live here.

Yes, the media has thrown this word around so much it as divided a country. I grew up with mandatory busing. I know what can happen. I have been called racist by many Hispanic inmates till I tell them my wife is Hispanic and all 6 of my children are half.
