QUESTIONNAIRE

RIGHT TO LIFE

Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?

Abortion should be safe and rare - allowable in cases of Rape or Incest.

Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive funds from federal, state, or local governments (including Title X grants).

Strongly Agree

I support 'aid in dying' laws which legalize assisted suicide and euthanasia.

Neutral

End of life deserves compassion. Government should not be seen as the permission giver, this is a very personal choice between loved ones and those ready to pass.

ECONOMY

What changes, if any, should be made to the tax code?

Severance pay - every family has hard financial decisions to make after a loss of work. By allowing Coloradoans to keep more of their money, we are giving them back financial independence. I would also like to see the locality tax for Denver, Greenwood Village, and Aurora not be applicable for work being performed if the Company is based in Colorado. I work in Construction, often you can not find local trades in your service area.

What government spending would you reduce in order to balance the budget?

In recent years, the State Legislature has created countless task forces and committees to "research" or "collaborate" over an issue. This is a misuse of tax payer dollars. I will vote against the creation of future committees, I will be a no vote on Legislation that is an overreach of government fundamental responsibilities. We reduce spending by reminding ourselves and our constituents what the proper role of Government truly is meant to do FOR THE PEOPLE!

Taxpayer-funded public education should be guaranteed through college.

Strongly Disagree

We should be preparing our kids for their future before they even leave High School with a better focus on life skills and careers such as electricians, welders, mechanics, and glaziers. Consent of the governed has allowed publicly funded education so we may produce a society of well educated and informed adults. Higher Education is a choice and should not be funded by tax payers.

RELIGIOUS LIBERTY

Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.

Strongly Disagree

This right should be protected by the government. If you do not like the way an establishments chooses to conduct business, you have the right to leave, take your business somewhere else. We witnessed this hypocrisy back in 2020. When local businesses did NOT require a face mask or proof of vaccination status, or would not adhere to social distancing standards.

Under what circumstances can government close churches?

None. When Government is allowed to make this type of decision to close of place of faith and worship - we should all be concerned.

HEALTHCARE

What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D)Tax-payer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be de-funded.

C - Healthcare and the ability to pay is not a fundamental right in our Country. The issue is not "insurance" the issue is the overpriced medical system that leaves well intended parents or caregivers with mounds of debt. The problem is over priced and unnecessary procedures that leave patients with chronic pain and no solution. Our aging population deserve to age with grace and care, along with our neighbors and friends who can not take care of themselves due to debilitating disabilities.

Under what circumstances (if any) should a government, school, or employer be allowed to require vaccinations?

None. This is personal medical choice and should be protected under the First Amendment.

NATIONAL SECURITY

What should the United States do to help eradicate the threat of Islamic terrorism?

We can teach our kids about their history and culture. All the good, all the bad and everything in between. Knowledge is power and when each generation is more informed, this will lead to better diplomacy and policy that puts the US first.

I support the Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement to pressure Israel to withdraw from occupied territories, remove the separation barrier in the West Bank, allow full equality for Arab-Palestinian citizens of Israel, and promote the rights of Palestinian refugees.

Agree

I support our brothers and sisters in Christ, whether they reside in Israel or Compton, CA. I would want to learn more before making a public stance regarding a foreign nation.

IMMIGRATION

The U.S. should do more to physically secure the southern border.

Strongly Agree

A sovereign Nation is nothing without secure borders.

Who should be allowed to immigrate to the U.S. and under what circumstances?

We have become this great nation because of the diversity and culture immigrants bring. We should have string policy that encourages pathways to citizenship. Policy that helps bring more workers to the US, policy that makes those who wish to traffic humans is meant with swift and sever punishment. Immigration from Countries known to be a current threat to the US should also be meet with extreme scrutiny.

EDUCATION

I support school choice, including voucher programs, tax credits, charter schools, private schools, and home schools.

Strongly Agree

My main policy focus is creating a pathway for funding to follow the student. Parents should be allowed to educate their children how they best see fit. As a parent, my child has utilized Jefferson County Public schools Special Education Services for the past 7 years. She has a diagnosed Psychiatric disorder and can not function in a regular classroom. We can no longer compartmentalize mental health and education. We need to give the power back to the parents.

VALUES

Judeo-Christian values established a framework of morality which is necessary for our system of limited government.

Strongly Agree

It is these very principals that guide our value system of Life, Liberty, and Pursuit of Happiness

I support adding gender identity as a specially protected class in non-discrimination laws.

Strongly Disagree

When the right of the induvial is protected, all persons in this country are protected. Creating special classes of people directly contradicts our value of induvial rights and freedoms.

Marriage is a God-ordained, sacred and legal union of one man and one woman. No government has the authority to alter this definition

Strongly Agree

I agree with Critical Race Theory (CRT) which asserts that the institutions in the United States are fundamentally racist.

Strongly Disagree

CRT is a Marxist Theory. We are a Nation of FREE people! I will not allow my children to be told they are culpable for the crimes of their ancestors and I detest telling any child that they are a victim.

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

We were all beautifully created with purpose. Life in all forms has intrinsic value and should be preserved.

ELECTIONS AND VOTING

People should be able to vote without photo identification.

Disagree

What laws would you propose to change present voting practices?

Reduce mail in ballots. Vote in person, ballots only mailed if requested as opposed to the current standard which makes it the default.

EQUALITY

Is racism a threat to domestic security in the United States? Why or why not?

The ideology is meant to divide our great nation, put those with differences against each other. United we stand; divided we fall.

Reparations should be given to people on the basis of race.

Neutral

ENERGY & ENVIRONMENT

Which comes closest to your view? A) Stricter environmental laws and regulations cost too many jobs and hurt the economy. B) Stricter environmental laws and regulations are worth the cost.

A - I work in Construction in Boulder County. Creating new codes dopes very little when the technology or industry has not been able to produce or create products to meet the demand.

I support the use of hydraulic fracking to extract oil and natural gas resources.

Strongly Agree

I was raised in an Oil and gas family. This is what put food on the table on clothes on my back. This is a clean safe way to produce local energy and secure a future of energy independence that ALL can afford.

ABOUT YOU

What do you think is the general purpose of government?

To protect the Life, Liberty, and property of the induvial.

When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and religious liberty, which of the following best describes you overall?

Conservative

Government should have a very limited role in our lives.

Please provide publicly available information, including interviews and media reports, validating your answer to the previous question (other than your website).

https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCrusX_Pa8PeL-ncx42bXhsw

Have you ever been convicted of a felony or been penalized in either civil or criminal court for sexual misconduct? If so, please explain.

No.

What else would you like voters to know about you, including your legislative priorities?

My focus is to get Colorado back! Crime, Cost of Living, and Kids are my priorities!

CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY

Police officers should be personally immune from prosecution for conduct consistent with departmental policy (qualified immunity) while on duty.

Strongly Agree

I support redirecting funds from police departments to mental health and community programs.

Neutral

Why not both?!?! In the City of Westminster, our council has brought on Mental Health Co Responders to work alongside our officers. We are a society of broken and hurting people. The criminal justice system is not always the place to help those in need with compassion.

2ND AMENDMENT

What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?

Protecting public safety - allow law abiding citizens to purchase, train, and carry any weapon that can protect them, their family and bystanders. I am not opposed to raising the legal age to purchase or carry a weapon. However, we need to look beyond guns as the issue. Mental health and the human condition is what is broken. When we can reach kids at an early age, provide interventions to veterans, and bring back State Mental Health Hospitals to provide a safe place for those induvial.

Victims of gun violence should be able to sue firearms dealers and manufacturers.

Strongly Disagree
