OTHER INFORMATION

QUESTIONNAIRE

RIGHT TO LIFE

Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?

To save mother's life

Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive funds from federal, state, or local governments (including Title X grants).

Strongly Agree

Abortion providing organizations should NOT get government funds at any level.

I support 'aid in dying' laws which legalize assisted suicide and euthanasia.

Strongly Disagree

Human life is precious from beginning to natural end.

ECONOMY

What changes, if any, should be made to the tax code?

Reduce income tax. Stop giving tax incentives without limitations.

What government spending would you reduce in order to balance the budget?

In Georgia, we balance the budget every year- we can not spend more than we take in. The Federal government should adopt this Constitutional Amendment.

Taxpayer-funded public education should be guaranteed through college.

Disagree

College is NOT the answer for all students.

RELIGIOUS LIBERTY

Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.

Strongly Disagree

Business owners should not be forced to participate in activities they morally or religiously object to.

Under what circumstances can government close churches?

They should never be forced to close their doors.

HEALTHCARE

What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D)Tax-payer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be de-funded.

C. The governments cannot pay for healthcare for all. Socialist medicine has been a failure in other countries with those with means travelling to the U.S. because their systems are unable to sufficiently treat them leaving others to suffer.

Under what circumstances (if any) should a government, school, or employer be allowed to require vaccinations?

Schools already have the power to mandate vaccines with exceptions for religious reasons based on Federal law. Parents should have the ability to work with their child's healthcare provider to determine when these vaccines are administered. On the state level, I am opposed to additional mandates for schools. I have spoken out via legislation and at the Well at the Georgia House of Representatives against C19 mandates and passports. Adults should not be subject to vaccine mandates unless they are in healthcare. Even then, those vaccines should only be required if the vaccine is FDA approved and has longitudinal studies of safety.

NATIONAL SECURITY

What should the United States do to help eradicate the threat of Islamic terrorism?

The US should do everything possible to eliminate all terrorism.

I support the Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement to pressure Israel to withdraw from occupied territories, remove the separation barrier in the West Bank, allow full equality for Arab-Palestinian citizens of Israel, and promote the rights of Palestinian refugees.

Strongly Disagree

Israel has the right to protect their borders. I support this right.

IMMIGRATION

The U.S. should do more to physically secure the southern border.

Strongly Agree

Finish the wall. Fund Border Patrol. These measures seem simple, yet our government has failed stop thousands of non-US citizens from pouring into our country. We have a legal means for immigration and for citizenship. It is unfair to all not to follow it.

Who should be allowed to immigrate to the U.S. and under what circumstances?

Individuals with a marketable skill/gainful employment with their immediate nuclear families only. There is a process for immigration and limitations on the numbers annually that should be followed to the letter.

EDUCATION

I support school choice, including voucher programs, tax credits, charter schools, private schools, and home schools.

Strongly Agree

I support a variety of educational pathways because one size fits all is not realistic.

VALUES

Judeo-Christian values established a framework of morality which is necessary for our system of limited government.

Strongly Agree

I support adding gender identity as a specially protected class in non-discrimination laws.

Strongly Disagree

Marriage is a God-ordained, sacred and legal union of one man and one woman. No government has the authority to alter this definition

Strongly Agree

I agree with Critical Race Theory (CRT) which asserts that the institutions in the United States are fundamentally racist.

Strongly Disagree

I am a co-signer on legislation to stop CRT in education.

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

I am a Christian first and before all else. Jesus Christ is my Lord and Savior, my rock and salvation.

ELECTIONS AND VOTING

People should be able to vote without photo identification.

Strongly Disagree

Without an ID, how do we know who is actually voting? We must have a photo identification requirements to vote.

What laws would you propose to change present voting practices?

Get rid of drop boxes. GBI immediately investigate all claims of election fraud.

EQUALITY

Is racism a threat to domestic security in the United States? Why or why not?

Racial tensions are an issue for the domestic security of our country as if we are fighting one another, how can we ever be a world leader again?

Reparations should be given to people on the basis of race.

Strongly Disagree

This notion is absurd and has no place in our country. We will never move forward unless we stop looking back.

ENERGY & ENVIRONMENT

Which comes closest to your view? A) Stricter environmental laws and regulations cost too many jobs and hurt the economy. B) Stricter environmental laws and regulations are worth the cost.

A. We must balance protecting our environment with protecting our people including the economy. We can create every measure, but if China, Russia and India are polluting the environment, we will reap the results of their misuse.

I support the use of hydraulic fracking to extract oil and natural gas resources.

Strongly Agree

Energy independence should be our priority.

ABOUT YOU

What do you think is the general purpose of government?

The Preamble reads the purpose of government is to "form a more perfect union, establish justice, insure domestic tranquility, provide for the common defense, promote the general welfare, and secure the blessings of liberty to ourselves and our posterity". It is not to create a nanny state.

When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and religious liberty, which of the following best describes you overall?

Very Conservative

Please provide publicly available information, including interviews and media reports, validating your answer to the previous question (other than your website).

I have been a State Rep for two years and was a school board member for 4 years. I have a conservation voting record and in the legislation I have sponsored.

Have you ever been convicted of a felony or been penalized in either civil or criminal court for sexual misconduct? If so, please explain.

NO

What else would you like voters to know about you, including your legislative priorities?

Rural broadband was a campaign priority that I am still championing as public/private partnerships are moving forward so all members of my area will have access to high speed internet. Rural economic development and transportation locally and statewide are priorities for the quality of life for all Georgian and top priorities for me. I will drop my resolution for a constitutional amendment again next session to have all unanticipated federal funds over $100m to be appropriated by the General Assembly rather than the Governor's office.

CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY

Police officers should be personally immune from prosecution for conduct consistent with departmental policy (qualified immunity) while on duty.

Strongly Agree

I support redirecting funds from police departments to mental health and community programs.

Strongly Disagree

It is not an either/or. Police officers are not mental health workers and mental health workers are not law enforcement agents.

2ND AMENDMENT

What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?

None. I am 100% 2nd Amendment. Proud to vote YES to bring Permit-less Carry to the citizens of Georgia.

Victims of gun violence should be able to sue firearms dealers and manufacturers.

Strongly Disagree

This is ridiculous.
