RIGHT TO LIFE
Human life begins at conception and deserves legal protection at every stage until natural death.
Strongly Agree
Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive taxpayer funds or grants from federal, state, or local governments.
Strongly Agree
I support the Born Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act, which requires health care providers to provide life-saving treatment for infants who survive an attempted abortion.
Strongly Agree
Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?
Human life begins at conception and deserves legal protection at every stage until natural death. However, I also believe that preventing the death of the mother should be paramount.

What government spending would you reduce in order to balance the budget?
We are required under the Georgia State Constitution to pass a balanced budget and in Georgia we (proudly) do this. As your next State Senator, I will continue to balance the Georgia budget, trim the fat, and promote operations in the state at minimal costs. The federal government should take a page out of Georgia's book.
RELIGIOUS LIBERTY
Governments should not discriminate against individuals, organizations or small businesses because of their belief that marriage is only a union of one man and one woman.

Governments should define marriage as between one man and one woman; no other definition of marriage should be legalized or supported with taxpayer or public funds.

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.
I am a born again Christian. I believe that Jesus is the Son of God, died on the cross for our sins, rose again in three days, and ascended to heaven to be with God. I believe in the Trinity - God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. I know that I am a sinner and that I fail in my walk of faith, but I also know that there is redemption, grace, forgiveness from God. Jesus walked this Earth and was kind, loving, and caring to ALL sinners, even those that whipped him, beat him, hung him on the cross, and killed him - he cried out for God to "Father forgive them for they know not what they do." Luke 23:34. In my walk in Christ, I try to express kindness, love, compassion, and grace to those who do not believe what I believe and to those who live in a way that I do not believe.
