What does "separation of church and state" mean to you?
There is no mention in the U.S. Constitution of separation of church and state, this phrase came later after the Constitution had been in place for years. The Constitution bars the government from forcing religion or preventing the free practice of a person’s religion, but if a teacher is holding prayer in her classroom there is nothing inherently wrong with that. In the same light, any kid has the right to not participate in that prayer or pray in their own way. We can’t institute religion, but it does not mean we have to throw our religion to the curb either. I understand different state statutes and constitutions may be different, but as a Congressman my concern is following the U.S. Constitution. Our founding fathers believed our rights came from God as natural rights and we must not forget that.

We must stop fighting endless wars we don't know how to win and push forward with an America First foreign policy. We must protect our border, as I believe NO Sovereign Nation Can Remain Sovereign Absent A Secure Border. We must bring conservative principles to DC, and that is what I will do.
