QUESTIONNAIRE
RIGHT TO LIFE
Human life begins at conception and deserves legal protection at every stage until natural death.
Strongly Agree
Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive taxpayer funds or grants from federal, state, or local governments.
Strongly Agree
I support the Born Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act, which requires health care providers to provide life-saving treatment for infants who survive an attempted abortion.
Strongly Agree
Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?
Both pre-born child and mother should be protected at all times, including times when medical illness requires interventions> The mother should be treated in such a way that the child's life is not intentionally ended. In the cases of rape and incest, options of adoption should be offered if needed. No circumstance justifies abortion.
ECONOMY
It is the government’s responsibility to ensure everyone has a livable income.
Disagree
Free enterprise and the right to private property are essential elements of a productive economic system.
Strongly Agree
How would you guarantee Social Security benefits for future generations?
I believe a competitive private retirement plan is the best way to solve the current social security challenge. Abortion has eliminated the next generation's chance of reinvesting into the fund which would provide benefits for people retiring over the next 20 years.
What government spending would you reduce in order to balance the budget?
Cut State Department funding for international students (saving of 15M annually), limit spending on NIH research to disease prevention only at substantial savings to taxpayers.
Under what circumstances should taxpayers help pay off existing student loans?
Only in the case of active military personnel being killed in the line of duty or some similar circumstance by which the indebted had intention and evidence of fulfilling financial obligations but became unable to complete the process due to death or accidental dismemberment. Student loan forgiveness should be available from time to time to fill a critical shortage fields that requires licensure or advance study, such a teacher-service forgiveness loan. These should be competitive, not automatic
RELIGIOUS LIBERTY
Governments should not discriminate against individuals, organizations or small businesses because of their belief that marriage is only a union of one man and one woman.
Strongly Agree
Religious liberty is at risk in the United States and deserves the highest level of protection in the law.
Strongly Agree
I promise to protect the freedom of Christians to share the Gospel and to practice Biblical principles.
Yes
What does "separation of church and state" mean to you?
That our government cannot force participation in a "state" religion on its citizens, as former British rulers attempted to do.
HEALTHCARE
It is the government’s responsibility to ensure everyone has health insurance.
Disagree
I support the elimination of private healthcare insurance.
Strongly Disagree
How would you promote healthcare coverage that is adequate, affordable and accessible for all?
Providing Americans with adequate & affordable healthcare is only possible through a free market system. However, our current system shows signs of corrupt partnerships between pharmaceutical & insurance firms. I would first demand pricing transparency to stop surprise billing. Secondly, I would attempt to limit the abuse of legal actions meant to defraud insurance companies thereby decreasing consumer pricing. Next, I would support the FDA streaming the use of experimental and other low-cost medications to level the playing field. Then I would work with healthcare/fitness organizations to bring health to obese and pre-diabetic Americans. By jointing creating opportunities through partnership and legislation, where needed, to provide workforce re-education and training for those entering the workforce so that employee-sponsored insurance would be available to all full time employees. Finally, I would support public funding of antibiotics or other meds that promote overall health.
NATIONAL SECURITY
The best way to maintain peace is through a strong military.
Strongly Agree
What should the United States do to help eradicate the threat of radical Islamic terrorism?
American schools or other community institutions should begin assimilating non-radicalized muslims in our community by teaching civics, American ideology and patriotism. To further limit the threat of radical Islamic terrorism, limits to the scope and size (and monitoring) of Islamic training centers on US soil posing as Mosques, and limits on visas being given to single adult males and females without family sponsorship from current citizens should be imposed in addition to securing our borders. Furthermore, America should seek partnerships with neutral nations in the region, in order to provide humanitarian aid to refugees or families seeking asylum, rather than offering asylum in the USA.
IMMIGRATION
I am in favor of construction of a wall and other necessary infrastructure on our border that gives complete control over entering and exiting the United States.
Strongly Agree
Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) should be abolished.
Strongly Disagree
State and federal funds should be denied to any public or private entity, including but not limited to sanctuary cities, that are not in compliance with immigration laws.
Strongly Agree
Employers should be required to use E-verify to confirm the eligibility of their employees to work in the United States.
Strongly Agree
Who should be allowed to immigrate to the U.S. and under what circumstances?
Persons who demonstrate their ability to work and/or learn should not be universally prohibited from immigrating from the U.S. However limits that factor in the ability to assimilate should be strictly adhered to. Persons unwilling or unable to assimilate should be considered ineligible from permanently immigrating to the U.S.
EDUCATION
Taxpayer-funded public education should be guaranteed through college.
Strongly Disagree
VALUES
Judeo-Christian values established a framework of morality which is necessary for our system of limited government.
Strongly Agree
I support adding sexual orientation, gender identity and gender expression as protected classes in non-discrimination laws.
Strongly Disagree
Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.
I am an evangelical Christian with strong ties to Messianic Jewish congregations. I believe in Genesis to Revelation.
ABOUT YOU
When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and immigration, which of the following best describes you overall?
Conservative
Please provide publicly available information validating your answer to the previous question.
https://babbageforcongress.com/news/ "In 2018, I founded Women In Action, a nonpartisan civic organization aimed at revitalizing urban communities in Georgia and throughout the southeast. I was named the Georgia State Director for Virginia Women for Trump, Georgia Women for Trump Co-Director for Gwinnett County, Georgia State Committee Member for the State of Georgia Republican Party, and Executive Board member of the Gwinnett County Republican Party. I believe the Republican platform is the pathway to the American Dream because conservative values keep families and communities together. I believe our Constitution is the foundation for those values."- from https://babbageforcongress.com/meet-lisa/
Have you ever been convicted of a felony or been penalized for sexual misconduct? If so, please explain.
No
Is there anything else you would like voters to know about you?
As a non-establishment candidate, I am the only one in this race who is endorsed nationally and locally as Pro Life. This means that I do not need to have my arm twisted to fight for the unborn as some who simply call themselves pro-life must. Furthermore, my volunteer record and professional work demonstrates my ability to make gains with diverse populations on either side of the aisle, which is crucial going into this next election. Finally, unlike other "conservatives" in this race, I do not owe allegiance to big pharma or other medical special interests that are determined to keep our society dependent on medications and pain killers rather than facing the challenges in our society.
CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY
Mandatory minimum sentencing should be required and enforced for violent crimes.
Strongly Agree
2ND AMENDMENT
What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?
None... continue background checks, waiting period for legal ownership (legal ownership does not pose a significant threat to public safety) and create a mandatory reporting feature for those legal gun owners that have persons living in their homes with mental illness. I would propose a stricter penalty on those found committing crimes with possession of illegal guns in an effort to reduce illegal gun possession in our country.
OTHER IMPORTANT ISSUES
I support BDS (boycott, divestment, and sanction) against Israel if they refuse to allow the creation of a Palestinian state.
Strongly Disagree
I support the legalization of recreational marijuana.
Disagree
Reparations should be given to people on the basis of race.
Strongly Disagree
The Electoral College should be abolished.
Strongly Disagree
In priority order, what three areas of legislation do you propose to author or sponsor if elected?
(1.) Revitalization of the National Defense Highway System Act (Infrastructure). (2.) Consumption Based Tax Reform that will severely limit the scope of income based tax, death tax, or other such unconstitutional debts. (3) Comprehensive prison / educational reform. While these last two are very different types of reforms, they compliment each other since most of the people that end up in prison are those educational systems have failed.
Is racism a threat to domestic security in the United States? Why or why not?
Systemic racism in the criminal justice system and some residual racism within political institutions pose a minimal threat to domestic security by allowing socialist agendas to have ideological credence amongst ill-informed voters. However, there is a racist-leaning class struggle in America that further complicates this issue of domestic security. There are wrap-around services that can and should be provided to hispanic and black populations with priority to those families who need help coming off their dependency of social services and becoming more competitive in the marketplace.
