Strongly Disagree

ECONOMY

What changes, if any, should be made to the tax code?

Elimination or reduction of the estate tax.

What government spending would you reduce in order to balance the budget?

All areas of the state General Fund need to be examined. Limiting spending to no more that the population growth plus inflation as a practice that would keep spending inline with estimated revenues. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. NATIONAL SECURITY

What should the United States do to help eradicate the threat of Islamic terrorism?

The United States needs to work on fully securing our borders. Additionally, the federal government should be open and transparent, in regards to refugee relocation, with the state government. The federal government does not have the right to transfer illegal immigrants or refugees into a state without said state's approval.

I support the Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement to pressure Israel to withdraw from occupied territories, remove the separation barrier in the West Bank, allow full equality for Arab-Palestinian citizens of Israel, and promote the rights of Palestinian refugees.

"I'm running for the Iowa Senate because Iowa is my home and not just on paper. It's been my home my entire life.. I was born in Iowa, and I was raised in Iowa. Iowans should be represented by Iowans. People who have lived and worked in our communities and understand the struggles we face. I've been showing up for Northwest Iowa my entire life and not just when it's convenient. I'll continue working hard as your next state senator!"
