Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?
Under no circumstance should abortion be allowed. I believe in life at conception and that only God can create life; therefore, I believe only God should determine the time of death. I support adoption as an alternative and crisis pregancy centers and other life-centered organizations, which come alongside those who do not have the resources or the understanding to want to continue their pregnancy.
What in the nature of mankind caused America’s Founders to carefully define, separate, and limit powers in the Constitution?
The Founders understood that the nature of mankind was defined in Genesis 3 as the desire to rule over another. They created a balance between the 3 arms of goverment so that one would not be predominant over the others.
Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.
I am a born-again Christian who believes in the Almighty power of God, the forgiveness available through the death of Christ for our sins, and the power of the Holy Spirit to enable believers to live in a way that honors God and accomplishes His plan. I am pro-life, pro-marriage, pro-family, pro-military, pro-Israel, and pro-business. I believe that Biblical principles form a framework by which we can determine right from wrong and determine which is the best path for our lives and the direction of our government. I am a Republican who truly believes that less government and lower taxes is the best way to govern. I believe that God has given us the intelligence and the means by which we can work together to achieve that which is best.
When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and immigration, which of the following best describes you overall?
Very Conservative
Please provide publicly available information validating your answer to the previous question.
A review of my Facebook posts would be helpful. My membership and leadership in Texas Tea Party Republican Women makes a powerful statement of my conservative positions across the board. I was Campaign Office Manager for Dan Patrick when he first ran for the Senate. I was Campaign Secretary and Scheduler for Clint Moore when he ran for Congress. I publicly endorsed Valoree Swanson in her race for State Representative District 150. Our political contributions indicate our conservatism.
What is the best way to bring down unemployment?
The best ways to bring down unemployment are the following: (1) Teach and train students in a skill or direct students to higher education whichever will likely lead to gainful employment; (2) Return a focus in our schools to gainful employment after high school or after vocational school; (3) Reduce taxes and regulations on business--both corporations and small businesses; (4) Enact laws which promote economic growth and freedom; (5) Support the initiatives of the President and Congress which are bolstering the investment of American companies back in America. These steps and others will grow our economy so businesses can thrive and produce job opportunities.
How would you promote healthcare coverage that is adequate, affordable and accessible for all?
With the understanding that healthcare is not the responsibility of government, it is essential that there be affordable and accessaile options for America's and Texas' families. I would support bills in the Texas House of Federal plans to promote a free market and promote more choice in healthcare, including the availability of insurance plans across lines. I am in favor of incentivizing good healthcare and prefer privatized options.
What role should government play in boosting the economy?
The government should remove any current barriers, such as taxes, fines, or fees to starting and maintaining a business allowing the free market to determine viability. The business of government is not to "boost the economy" but to stay out of the way of men and women who will boost the economy with entrepreneurism, enterprise, exploration, creativity, and intelligent use of resources.
What education or experience qualifies you to hold the office for which you seek election?
I have been a grassroots activist for almost 2 decades, working in the trenches to elect conservatives who hold to the values and principles, which I believe will make for better government for all Texans. I have advocated for conservative legislation in the Texas Legislature. I have kept informed of and active in promoting those bills that would produce a better economy, protect life, and provide better guidelines for our educational system. I know what I believe and why I believe it. I watch closely the policy activity of organizations Texas Right to Life, Empower, and the Texas Public Policy Foundation. I believe I have the demeanor, the maturity, and the experience to craft good bills and to fight for common sense solutions. I know how to listen to other points of view and to grab onto the essentials. I understand that government requires working together and cooporating to get the best accomplished; however, I will never compromise my conservative principles.

Is there anything else you would like voters to know about you?
I want to be the kind of State Representative whom everyone will feel comfortable approaching, who will always give a warm welcome, who will respond with experience, understanding, and initiative. I will be a champion for the conservative principles that have made America great. I will fight for the issues that preserve our heritage and our faith.
