OTHER INFORMATION

QUESTIONNAIRE

RIGHT TO LIFE

Human life begins at conception and deserves legal protection at every stage until natural death.

Strongly Agree

Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive taxpayer funds or grants from federal, state, or local governments.

Strongly Agree

I support the Born Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act, which requires health care providers to provide life-saving treatment for infants who survive an attempted abortion.

Strongly Agree

Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?

I agree with President Trump: only in the case of rape, incest and the life of the mother.

ECONOMY

It is the government’s responsibility to ensure everyone has a livable income.

Strongly Disagree

Free enterprise and the right to private property are essential elements of a productive economic system.

Strongly Agree

How would you guarantee Social Security benefits for future generations?

Everyone who has paid in has been guaranteed by our government that they can plan their future around our Social Security program. We must keep faith with that promise, while assessing how we can continue to fund this for future generations.

What government spending would you reduce in order to balance the budget?

I support any opportunity to reduce wasteful spending or flat cuts across the board.

Under what circumstances should taxpayers help pay off existing student loans?

It is not the responsibility of the American taxpayer to pay off student loans.

RELIGIOUS LIBERTY

Governments should not discriminate against individuals, organizations or small businesses because of their belief that marriage is only a union of one man and one woman.

Strongly Agree

Religious liberty is at risk in the United States and deserves the highest level of protection in the law.

Strongly Agree

I promise to protect the freedom of Christians to share the Gospel and to practice Biblical principles.

Yes

What does "separation of church and state" mean to you?

The government should stay out of our churches, and they especially should not be allowed to tell a liquor store they are essential, but a church is not.

HEALTHCARE

It is the government’s responsibility to ensure everyone has health insurance.

Strongly Disagree

I support the elimination of private healthcare insurance.

Strongly Disagree

How would you promote healthcare coverage that is adequate, affordable and accessible for all?

More government will only make health care less affordable and less effective. We need to get the government out of the way of care providers. My specific plan would be to allow doctors and hospitals to write off the cost of unpaid medical bills, which would create market incentives for care providers to serve uninsured and under-insured underprivileged patients.

NATIONAL SECURITY

The best way to maintain peace is through a strong military.

Strongly Agree

What should the United States do to help eradicate the threat of radical Islamic terrorism?

It all begins with refusing to cave to political correctness. You have to call it what it is: radical Islamic terrorism. We have to be tough on countries who allow terrorist organizations to train, recruit and grow, but we have to be smart and not engage in endless wars in the Middle East.

IMMIGRATION

I am in favor of construction of a wall and other necessary infrastructure on our border that gives complete control over entering and exiting the United States.

Strongly Agree

Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) should be abolished.

Strongly Disagree

State and federal funds should be denied to any public or private entity, including but not limited to sanctuary cities, that are not in compliance with immigration laws.

Strongly Agree

Employers should be required to use E-verify to confirm the eligibility of their employees to work in the United States.

Strongly Agree

Who should be allowed to immigrate to the U.S. and under what circumstances?

We need an America-First immigration policy, where we benefit from the skills or contributions they make to society. They should be financially self-sufficient and not requiring our government for financial support.

EDUCATION

Taxpayer-funded public education should be guaranteed through college.

Strongly Disagree

VALUES

Judeo-Christian values established a framework of morality which is necessary for our system of limited government.

Strongly Agree

I support adding sexual orientation, gender identity and gender expression as protected classes in non-discrimination laws.

Strongly Agree

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

My Christian faith is very important to me; so much so that my double major included a religion major. I was baptized catholic as a child and converted to non-denominational Protestant in junior high. My faith guides my ethics, my actions, and how I treat others, but it is also why I’m such a patriot. We live in the first nation to ever declare that God has endowed us, the people, with unalienable rights, and that we are sovereign, not kings.

ABOUT YOU

When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and immigration, which of the following best describes you overall?

Very Conservative

Please provide publicly available information validating your answer to the previous question.

I have donated to only Republicans, and I passed the TN GOP’s requirements verifying I am a bona fide Republican.

Have you ever been convicted of a felony or been penalized for sexual misconduct? If so, please explain.

No.

Is there anything else you would like voters to know about you?

As a pathologist, trained to spot cancer, I can tell you political correctness has become a cancer on our system. The radical, liberal activists who want to disrespect our flag, destroy our country and abandon our constitutional rights, use political correctness to shut down debate by shaming you as a racist, sexist, xenophobic, etc. They called Trump a racist xenophobic when he shut down flights from China early on in the Coronavirus pandemic, but we need strong leaders like Trump who will do the right thing no matter what. They shamed him, but he saved lives. I will never back down to the cancer of political correctness:

CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY

Mandatory minimum sentencing should be required and enforced for violent crimes.

Strongly Agree

2ND AMENDMENT

What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?

“”... shall not be infringed.” It is pretty clear. Restrictions are unconstitutional.

OTHER IMPORTANT ISSUES

I support BDS (boycott, divestment, and sanction) against Israel if they refuse to allow the creation of a Palestinian state.

Strongly Disagree

I support the legalization of recreational marijuana.

Disagree

Reparations should be given to people on the basis of race.

Strongly Disagree

The Electoral College should be abolished.

Strongly Disagree

In priority order, what three areas of legislation do you propose to author or sponsor if elected?

1) Finish the wall 2) Nationwide concealed carry 3) Reform taxes to a flat tax

Is racism a threat to domestic security in the United States? Why or why not?

When I was a boy being raised to treat people the way I wanted to be treated, if someone was called a racist, it was because they are a racist. Nowadays the politically correct crowd uses the label to simply silence their opposition and stifle thought and speech, because the left can’t make arguments on their merits.. America has come so far on this issue, and I believe we need to celebrate that, instead of pretending like the few remaining radicals have any significant presence in society. “Don’t just pretend to love others. Really love them. Hate what is wrong. Hold tightly to what is good.” - Romans 12:9
