QUESTIONNAIRE
RIGHT TO LIFE
Human life begins at conception and deserves legal protection at every stage until natural death.
Agree
Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive taxpayer funds or grants from federal, state, or local governments.
Agree
I support the Born Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act, which requires health care providers to provide life-saving treatment for infants who survive an attempted abortion.
Agree
Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?
Only when necessary to save the mothers life.
ECONOMY
It is the government’s responsibility to ensure everyone has a livable income.
Disagree
Free enterprise and the right to private property are essential elements of a productive economic system.
Agree
What government spending would you reduce in order to balance the budget?
My budgeting skills are phenomenal, thanks to my experience as a single mother. I notice things all the time that I consider a waste of tax payer money. Until I’m able to get behind the scenes to see how money and resources are budgeted, I’m not fully qualified to answer this question. Waste in general is something I find unacceptable. I will not be afraid to voice my concerns, regarding anything I feel is a waste of tax payer money.
RELIGIOUS LIBERTY
Governments should not discriminate against individuals, organizations or small businesses because of their belief that marriage is only a union of one man and one woman.
Agree
Governments should define marriage as between one man and one woman; no other definition of marriage should be legalized or supported with taxpayer or public funds.
Neutral
Religious liberty is at risk in the United States and deserves the highest level of protection in the law.
Agree
I promise to protect the freedom of Christians to share the Gospel and to practice Biblical principles.
Yes
What does "separation of church and state" mean to you?

HEALTHCARE
It is the government’s responsibility to ensure everyone has health insurance.
Disagree
How would you promote healthcare coverage that is adequate, affordable and accessible for all?
I support government funded healthcare for youth, seniors, and individuals truly unable to work due to a medical condition. I do not support eliminating private or employer-sponsored health insurance. In 2018, private and employer-sponsored health insurance covered an estimated 67.3% of the country’s population. I would like to see that number rise and focus on reducing overall healthcare cost by eliminating waste.
NATIONAL SECURITY
The best way to maintain peace is through a strong military.
Agree
IMMIGRATION
I am in favor of construction of a wall and other necessary infrastructure on our border that gives complete control over entering and exiting the United States.
Agree
State and federal funds should be denied to any public or private entity, including but not limited to sanctuary cities, that are not in compliance with immigration laws.
Strongly Agree
Who should be allowed to immigrate to the U.S. and under what circumstances?

Taxpayer-funded public education should be guaranteed through college.

VALUES
Judeo-Christian values established a framework of morality which is necessary for our system of limited government.
Agree
I support adding sexual orientation, gender identity and gender expression as protected classes in non-discrimination laws.

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

What education or experience qualifies you to hold the office for which you seek election?
I have lived an unconventional life compared to other candidates. I became a mother at 18. My son’s father passed away, leaving me a single mother by the age of 22. Over the next six years, I worked full time, attended college full time, volunteered for school functions, helped coach my son’s baseball and basketball teams, and volunteered at my local church. I graduated from IUPUI in 2010 with a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice. My interest in government, law, and politics dates back as far as five years old. This, coupled with my passion to help others, is why I chose to seek a criminal justice degree. My work history includes: fast food, retail, gas station clerk, hotel maid, telemarketer, secretary, customer service representative, front office manager, and my current career as a legal assistant. My upbringing, life experiences, education, and work history have given me a unique perspective that would be beneficial in representing a large community.
Have you ever been convicted of a felony or been penalized for sexual misconduct? If so, please explain.
No.
Is there anything else you would like voters to know about you?
I’m willing to work hard by getting out and meeting as many in the community as possible, instead of soliciting donations. Despite my busy schedule, I always found a way to keep up with current events in my community, state, and country. My son recently started college leaving me with too much extra time. I looked for a second job to occupy my extra time; however, I did not find anything of interest. That is until, I heard our current State Representative of the 58th district, Mr. Burton, was not seeking re-election. I felt this was God blessing me with an opportunity to do something amazing. I patiently waited until receiving the final results that my father’s long battle with lymphoma was over. The experimental treatment worked, and he is cancer free. God is good, I knew then it was time, my time. I would be honored and humbled to have the opportunity to serve my community, give back, and help others. Thank you for your time!
JUDICIAL PHILOSOPHY
I support the use of Sharia law as a basis for legislation and judicial decisions in the United States.

People should be able to vote without photo identification.
Strongly Disagree
I support the legalization of recreational marijuana.

The Electoral College should be abolished.
Strongly Disagree
In priority order, what three areas of legislation do you propose to author or sponsor if elected?
The three areas I would like to focus on are: the drug epidemic, cost of healthcare, and education.
