QUESTIONNAIRE

RIGHT TO LIFE

Human life begins at conception and deserves legal protection at every stage until natural death.

Strongly Agree

Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive taxpayer funds or grants from federal, state, or local governments.

Strongly Agree

I support the Born Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act, which requires health care providers to provide life-saving treatment for infants who survive an attempted abortion.

Strongly Agree

Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?

None. Life begins at conception and must be protected and cherished. For this reason, I also oppose assisted suicide and euthanasia. I do support provisions being made to support those who choose to have their babies and their babies.

ECONOMY

It is the government’s responsibility to ensure everyone has a livable income.

Disagree

Free enterprise and the right to private property are essential elements of a productive economic system.

Strongly Agree

What government spending would you reduce in order to balance the budget?

First, there is public money used for purposes, such as frivolous grants, that could be eliminated. Eliminating unneeded regulations and laws could also save money. Foreign aid should be given to countries that support us. We should only support worldwide organizations that show us respect and pay only our share. Defense organizations that we belong to should be supported fairly by all the members not just us. There should be accountability and penalties to be sure public money is well spent.

RELIGIOUS LIBERTY

Governments should not discriminate against individuals, organizations or small businesses because of their belief that marriage is only a union of one man and one woman.

Strongly Agree

Governments should define marriage as between one man and one woman; no other definition of marriage should be legalized or supported with taxpayer or public funds.

Strongly Agree

Religious liberty is at risk in the United States and deserves the highest level of protection in the law.

Strongly Agree

I promise to protect the freedom of Christians to share the Gospel and to practice Biblical principles.

Yes

What does "separation of church and state" mean to you?

The phrase “separation of church and state” does not appear in the Constitution. The government should not establish a state religion, but the First Amendment prohibits the government from opposing religion. I support the right of anyone to have religious beliefs different from my own. However, the actions of any person can be regulated. As such, I oppose the use of any Sharia law. I see the exercise of Religious Freedom as one of the great ideas of the Constitution that must be defended.

HEALTHCARE

It is the government’s responsibility to ensure everyone has health insurance.

Strongly Disagree

How would you promote healthcare coverage that is adequate, affordable and accessible for all?

First, burdensome regulations need to be eliminated. Drugs and other supplies need to be negotiated for to get the best prices. New and innovative health packages need to be created. I support an exchange that would provide information about insurance alternatives. I support a two year universal service provision for 18 year olds that would include the military and other public service. Service could be deferred until after college and professional school. I think rethinking health care entirely is the key. Also, health education and preventive care with incentives for healthy actions should be at the core of our health efforts.

NATIONAL SECURITY

The best way to maintain peace is through a strong military.

Strongly Agree

IMMIGRATION

I am in favor of construction of a wall and other necessary infrastructure on our border that gives complete control over entering and exiting the United States.

Strongly Agree

State and federal funds should be denied to any public or private entity, including but not limited to sanctuary cities, that are not in compliance with immigration laws.

Strongly Agree

Who should be allowed to immigrate to the U.S. and under what circumstances?

I believe that all immigration should be regulated. A fair immigration policy would encourage those of good character and skills to immigrate. The numbers would need to be controlled. I oppose unlimited illegal immigration, massive public assistance and support deportation for felonies, drugs, and other reasons.

EDUCATION

Taxpayer-funded public education should be guaranteed through college.

Strongly Disagree

VALUES

Judeo-Christian values established a framework of morality which is necessary for our system of limited government.

Strongly Agree

I support adding sexual orientation, gender identity and gender expression as protected classes in non-discrimination laws.

Strongly Disagree

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

I am a Born Again Child of God. I am a Charismatic, but I worship and fellowship with believers of all denominations. I have not been disruptive and respect the rules of the churches I have attended. I have attended and belonged to Catholic, Methodist, Nazarene, Assembly of God Churches and currently attend Church of the Savior, an Evangelical Non-Denominational Church in Wayne, Pa. The different churches came from job related moves.I was on the Board of the Nazarene Church, taught at Venard College in University Park, Iowa, which was a Non-Denominational Holiness College. I have been active at all these churches. I have taught several Sunday School Classes for children and adults.I believe in the Creeds of the Church and joyfully accept my responsibility to serve and worship Jesus!

ABOUT YOU

When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and immigration, which of the following best describes you overall?

Very Conservative

Please provide publicly available information validating your answer to the previous question.

I am relatively new in the political arena. I would refer you to Julia Vahey, the of the Montgomery County Republican Party for our formation about me. I was the endorsed candidate at the Republican Nominating Convention. MCRC’s phone number is 610-279-9300.

What education or experience qualifies you to hold the office for which you seek election?

I was an Assistant County Attorney and a County Attorney. I have been a Criminal Defense Attorney and have practiced in multiple areas of the law. I believe I would be uniquely qualified to draft legislation that is conservative and honors God. I believe every person is equal in God’s sight and should be respected and treated fairly. I support Non-Violence. I have a BA in English and a JD. My experience in dealing with others as outlined in my Christian Beliefs section would also help. I am committed to transparency and respect for others who do not share my values and opinions. I believe there are always things that legislators can agree on while following their convictions.

Have you ever been convicted of a felony or been penalized for sexual misconduct? If so, please explain.

No

Is there anything else you would like voters to know about you?

I believe in generosity. Beyond my tithe, I give 5% of my income to organizations like Convoy of Hope, Philabundance, and shelters for women who have decided to keep their babies and not have an abortion. I believe that any public servant should similarly give 5% of their income to organizations that directly help the poor. We should also do public unpaid service for these organizations. The Church of God has an obligation to provide for those less fortunate than us. We must show the love of Christ in all our life! I manage a Trust which donates significant money for high school scholarships and science education. We also strongly support a program which builds toilets in South African Black villages.

JUDICIAL PHILOSOPHY

I support the use of Sharia law as a basis for legislation and judicial decisions in the United States.

Strongly Disagree

CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY

Mandatory minimum sentencing should be required and enforced for violent crimes.

Strongly Agree

2ND AMENDMENT

Should teachers be allowed to carry guns at school?

Yes

What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?

There should not be private ownership of weapons such as rocket launchers and machine guns. Felons should not have firearms. People who have diagnosed mental illnesses that make them an imminent danger to themselves or others should surrender firearms while they have this condition. I support reasonable background checks. I oppose red flag laws, with some exceptions, because they are often overbroad and arbitrary in application. I support the accessibility of gun safety classes.

OTHER IMPORTANT ISSUES

People should be able to vote without photo identification.

Strongly Disagree

I support the legalization of recreational marijuana.

Strongly Disagree

The Electoral College should be abolished.

Strongly Disagree

In priority order, what three areas of legislation do you propose to author or sponsor if elected?

Outlaw all Abortion. Strong Criminal Laws. This would include strong antitraffiicing statutes and gun laws for criminals. Strong OWI and spousal and child abuse laws. I would support tax and other laws which promote the Free Enterprise System. Repeal of all Blaine Amendment type laws. I support reasonable laws to fight racial racism injustice.

Is racism a threat to domestic security in the United States? Why or why not?

Yes. Racism is a threat to our future. Racism is not Biblical. We are commanded to love all people regardless of their differences. That said, I support only nonviolent means to establish racial equality. Violence is wrong. It is just as much a sin as racism. We must resist hatred of all kinds. We must show the love of Christ to all! We must hate the sin while loving the sinner, realizing that, frequently, wears the sinner.
