QUESTIONNAIRE

RIGHT TO LIFE

Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?

None.

Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive funds from federal, state, or local governments (including Title X grants).

Strongly Agree

I support 'aid in dying' laws which legalize assisted suicide and euthanasia.

Strongly Disagree

ECONOMY

What changes, if any, should be made to the tax code?

Flat tax is the most equitable.

What government spending would you reduce in order to balance the budget?

Reduced economic and military aid to foreign countries. This will allow the foreign countries to become more self-sufficient and less reliant on external forces.

Taxpayer-funded public education should be guaranteed through college.

Strongly Disagree

Vocational and trade schools need to be enhanced beginning in high school years. The current lack of training and candidates has been proven to make our country less competitive vis a vis our foreign competitors.

RELIGIOUS LIBERTY

Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.

Strongly Disagree

I am a proud LGBT citizen - if a business or individual is not comfortable providing me a service then I feel more comfortable taking my business to someone who does!

Under what circumstances can government close churches?

None.

HEALTHCARE

What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D)Tax-payer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be de-funded.

C. Medicaid and Medicare provide safety nets for our disabled and senior populations and a robust private healthcare system offers Choice and Innovation to the working population.

Under what circumstances (if any) should a government, school, or employer be allowed to require vaccinations?

None.

NATIONAL SECURITY

What should the United States do to help eradicate the threat of Islamic terrorism?

States should identify any places associated with terrorist dialogue or teachings and maintain communication with the leaders and have daily access to these centers.

I support the Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement to pressure Israel to withdraw from occupied territories, remove the separation barrier in the West Bank, allow full equality for Arab-Palestinian citizens of Israel, and promote the rights of Palestinian refugees.

Strongly Disagree

The Jordan Valley and West Bank lands developed by Israel have become the "green" bread basket of the region and a major economic force benefiting all citizens. Unlike Palestine, Israel is a highly developed democracy protecting LGBT rights of all citizens.

IMMIGRATION

The U.S. should do more to physically secure the southern border.

Strongly Agree

A nation is neither sovereign nor secure if it has a porous border where people walk through it in huge numbers greater than the size of its largest cities every year.

Who should be allowed to immigrate to the U.S. and under what circumstances?

Legal immigration is always welcome to bring in new ideas and new energy to our constantly evolving melting pot of a nation.

EDUCATION

I support school choice, including voucher programs, tax credits, charter schools, private schools, and home schools.

Strongly Agree

We have all seen the excesses and dangers of school district overreach during the two year pandemic. Many students have been psychologically harmed by the overreach and lockdowns and it will take years to begin to remediate these self-inflicted scars.

VALUES

Judeo-Christian values established a framework of morality which is necessary for our system of limited government.

Strongly Agree

The Golden Rule should permeate our moral code and be reflected in the most limited of government to allow the individual to thrive instead of the collective.

I support adding gender identity as a specially protected class in non-discrimination laws.

Strongly Disagree

As a proud LGBT citizen I'm sensitive to overreach of gender identity politics. I feel strongly that our daughters and nieces should be able to succeed and thrive in their own activities without having to compete against biological males in the name of "gender identity".

Marriage is a God-ordained, sacred and legal union of one man and one woman. No government has the authority to alter this definition

Choose not to answer

Federal law is clear and consistent that marriage between two people is a sacred and legal union.

I agree with Critical Race Theory (CRT) which asserts that the institutions in the United States are fundamentally racist.

Strongly Disagree

I vehemently disagree with Critical Race Theory and no group of students should be taught to feel guilty or complicit in any historical period of our country.

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

My Christian belief in one loving, forgiving God illumines all my relationships with friends, family, colleagues and neighbors. The Golden Rule is my litmus test for daily living.

ELECTIONS AND VOTING

People should be able to vote without photo identification.

Strongly Disagree

What laws would you propose to change present voting practices?

Act 77 is fraught with potential pitfall. The more that a piece paper travels in a process, the greater the chance for error. Act 77 needs to be repealed.

EQUALITY

Is racism a threat to domestic security in the United States? Why or why not?

No.

Reparations should be given to people on the basis of race.

Strongly Disagree

ENERGY & ENVIRONMENT

Which comes closest to your view? A) Stricter environmental laws and regulations cost too many jobs and hurt the economy. B) Stricter environmental laws and regulations are worth the cost.

As a Clean Up Leader for Darby Creek Valley Association and a Committee Member of Delco Green Space Task Force, I am committed to cleaner environmental practices and expanded Open Space and Farmland Preservation.

I support the use of hydraulic fracking to extract oil and natural gas resources.

Agree

ABOUT YOU

What do you think is the general purpose of government?

Government provides the framework for optimal safety and security of its citizens balanced between Federal leadership on national defense and law enforcement and State leadership on human services and transportation/infrastructure.

When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and religious liberty, which of the following best describes you overall?

Choose not to answer

Please provide publicly available information, including interviews and media reports, validating your answer to the previous question (other than your website).

Years of social media interviews and posts.

Have you ever been convicted of a felony or been penalized in either civil or criminal court for sexual misconduct? If so, please explain.

No.

What else would you like voters to know about you, including your legislative priorities?

I will make the environmental and economic well being of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania my first priority and never allow it to be locked down for so long again!

CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY

Police officers should be personally immune from prosecution for conduct consistent with departmental policy (qualified immunity) while on duty.

Strongly Agree

I support redirecting funds from police departments to mental health and community programs.

Strongly Disagree

2ND AMENDMENT

What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?

"Constitutional carry" measures better protect individual liberties and public safety.

Victims of gun violence should be able to sue firearms dealers and manufacturers.
