Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?
None. The goal of the doctor should always be to save the lives of his patients. In times of emergency, this includes the life of the baby in the womb, as well as the mother.
Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive funds from federal, state, or local governments (including Title X grants).

We should move to a consumption based tax structure rather than a production based structure.

We need to evaluate all government agencies and programs for effectiveness and efficiency. There is likely waste and abuse in many programs that could be eliminated.

Under what circumstances can government close churches?
The First Amendment says that government shall not prohibit the free exercise of religion. There are no qualifying circumstances to infringe on one's God-given rights. I was the Primary Sponsor of House Bill 43, The Church is Essential Act, which was passed by the 2023 General Assembly.
HEALTHCARE
What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D)Tax-payer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be de-funded.
Government has proven successful at running up the cost of anything they get involved with. We have to work to create an environment to provide job opportunities for every Kentuckian. This begins by creating a more friendly tax structure, which will inject more money into the economy, grow job opportunities, and stop penalizing people for being a productive citizen. This will help ensure we do not expand Medicaid.
Under what circumstances (if any) should a government, school, or employer be allowed to require vaccinations?
Many who have taken the Covid vaccination have still contracted and transmitted the virus. Some who have taken the vaccine have experienced life altering side effects. For these reasons, this vaccination should be administered only to those who choose to take it.
NATIONAL SECURITY
What should the United States do to help eradicate the threat of Islamic terrorism?
President Reagan advocated for peace through strength. A strong military serves as a powerful deterrent to any who would come against us. Threats from Russia and China have grown more prevalent in recent years. The weakness of the current administration has encouraged aggression from those who despise us.
I support the Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement to pressure Israel to withdraw from occupied territories, remove the separation barrier in the West Bank, allow full equality for Arab-Palestinian citizens of Israel, and promote the rights of Palestinian refugees.

My priorities are protecting religious freedom, the right to life and God's design for family, lower taxes, and protecting our Second Amendment Rights.
