RIGHT TO LIFE
Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive taxpayer funds from federal, state, or local governments (including Title X grants).
Agree
Currently tax payer funding consists of over 30% of Planned Parenthood's annual revenue. I do not believe that taxpayer funds should be paying for elective abortions but I do agree that women should be provided access to preventive health and family planning services regardless of their insurance status, including medically necessary abortions.
Chemical abortion drugs should meet essential safety standards (such as in-person consultation with a medical doctor) and require reporting to gather evidence on reactions and outcomes.
Disagree
Chemical abortion drugs should absolutely meet safety standards including attending in person office appointments, but I believe reporting should be voluntary with the exception of adverse reactions resulting in death or impairment.
Under what circumstances should an elective abortion be allowed?
In the event of serious genetic or structural conditions with evidence that the baby is likely to be born with or develop severe disabilities or health problems. Ectopic pregnancy, if the pregnancy threatens the life of the mother or if the pregnancy is the result of rape. The abortion should take place within the 1st trimester of pregnancy; I don't believe abortions after the 1st trimester should take place unless deemed medically necessary.
Does the federal government have a role to play in limiting abortion, and if so what federal steps and/or federal legislation would you support?
The role of the federal government in abortion administration should be limited funding, public education and access to family planning. The act of having an abortion should be considered a medical decision made in conjunction and under the advisement of your medical provider.
ECONOMY
What actions would you take that would allow Americans to retain more of their income and wealth?
I would build assets for working families, such as programs to automatically enroll individuals in retirement plans and provide savings credit or federal match for retirement account. Providing access to fair low cost financial services and planning
Student loan forgiveness unfairly shifts the financial burden to those not responsible for student debt.

Cancelling student loan debt could result in higher inflation and interest rates. I believe the student or debt holder is responsible for repaying their debt regardless or graduation or economic status. It would be fundamentally unfair to individuals who made concerted efforts to pay for their education or pay off their own loans.
Should environmental and social issues, like ESG (environmental, social, and governance) ratings, be used as criteria in deciding where to invest public monies?
Yes
ESG considerations can help evaluate risks a company may face and how the company would manage those risks. Socially responsible investing promotes a company to be ethically and socially conscious and ESG governance standards ensures transparency of investors
RELIGIOUS LIBERTY
What does "separation of church and state" mean to you?
Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion. To me it means that the government cannot exercise undue influence over American's spiritual and religious lives. Guarantees the religious freedom of all Americans.
Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.

If employers are required to accommodate religious beliefs of their employees, privately owned businesses should be allowed the right to refuse service if it directly impacts their religious beliefs or moral grounds.
HEALTHCARE
Under what circumstances (if any) should a government, school, or employer be allowed to require vaccinations?
Schools and certain workplaces such as hospitals or facilities that individuals are most at risk, certain vaccines should mandated. However in workplaces that majority of the personnel are not at risk, vaccinations should not be mandated.
What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. Critical components of leading American high-tech products are invented and designed in Israel, making these American companies more competitive and more profitable globally.
What are the causes of decline in U.S. military recruitment and retention?
The loss of patriotism, less interested audiences, generational temperament and the decline in both mental and physical fitness to serve. There is also an lack of job prospects once they are no longer in active service and Americans overall do not have the same respect and appreciation of our armed forces that sacrifice so much to maintain our countries security.
IMMIGRATION
The U.S. should do more to physically secure the southern border.

Protecting our boarders from illegal movement of weapons, drugs and people should be a top priority. The strain that the flow of illegal immigration is creating a national emergency. An open border empowers drug cartels, suspected terrorists and human traffickers, and allows fentanyl and illicit drugs to flow into our communities.
Who should be allowed to immigrate to the U.S. and under what circumstances?
Individuals willing to become citizens through the legal process of immigration. I would support the pathway to legal status for most immigrant fleeing war or violence but only under the stipulation that they follow all legal guidelines and the established path of citizenship.

I agree with Critical Race Theory (CRT) which asserts that the institutions in the United States are fundamentally racist.

Children are impressionable and will interpret messages differently than adults. It demands that everything in society be viewed through the lens of racism, sexism, and power. CRT tries to make kids feel bad because of the color of their skin, or their sex, or any other category — one group is seen as an aggrieved minority and another group is the oppressive majority.
Biological males should not be allowed to participate in women's sports or occupy biological women's spaces whether it be bathrooms, locker rooms, sorority houses, women's shelters, or prison.

What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?
The Second Amendment to the United States Constitution guarantees the right to bear arms. Gun ownership shall not be infringed. Gun ownership increases safety by allowing law-abiding citizens to protect themselves. I am in support of allowing teachers and school officials to carry guns in K-12 schools and allowing people to carry concealed guns in more places.
