QUESTIONNAIRE
RIGHT TO LIFE
Human life begins at conception and deserves legal protection at every stage until natural death.
Strongly Agree
Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive taxpayer funds or grants from federal, state, or local governments.
Strongly Agree
I support the Born Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act, which requires health care providers to provide life-saving treatment for infants who survive an attempted abortion.
Strongly Agree
Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?
While I personally believe that abortion should only be permitted in the event of a life-threatening situation for the mother, I also believe in reduction of government in ALL aspects of our lives. I would like the government to have less control, which means that banning things are not something I'm in favor of. This also means that I believe that not a single public dollar should go towards any institution, business, or 'charity' that performs abortions. I also believe that the barriers to adoption in this country should be reduced. There are many prospective parents that are unable to adopt because of a massive amount of rules, red tape, and very high expectations. Which is worse? Abortion or a single parent? We have many people adopting children from outside the country while children languish in the foster care system here.
ECONOMY
It is the government’s responsibility to ensure everyone has a livable income.
Disagree
Free enterprise and the right to private property are essential elements of a productive economic system.
Strongly Agree
What government spending would you reduce in order to balance the budget?
Administration costs for federal agencies are out of control. There are multiple bureaucrats at each level, and none of them seem to actually get anything done. If an agency is not effective and efficient, start cutting waste. I'm all for having the latest and greatest tech for our troops, and our military should be the best, but the vast majority of our budget is being funneled directly to the coffers of defense contractors. If these projects can't come in as quoted, start dropping contracts.
RELIGIOUS LIBERTY
Governments should not discriminate against individuals, organizations or small businesses because of their belief that marriage is only a union of one man and one woman.
Strongly Agree
Governments should define marriage as between one man and one woman; no other definition of marriage should be legalized or supported with taxpayer or public funds.
Did not answer
Religious liberty is at risk in the United States and deserves the highest level of protection in the law.
Strongly Agree
I promise to protect the freedom of Christians to share the Gospel and to practice Biblical principles.
Yes
What does "separation of church and state" mean to you?
Separation of church and state means that you should respect other's right to practice their religion, and they should not be forced to practice yours. We are a country of many faiths, many heritages, and many backgrounds. I would not want to be forced to kneel to the east and pray to Mecca at school, so we should not expect others to say the Lord's Prayer. We should also not keep anyone from practicing religion, and if they CHOOSE to pray at school or in a governmental building, they should be allowed to, as long as they don't expect others to participate unless they are willing to. This does not apply to the Pledge of Allegiance. The Pledge should be required in any and every governmental building that is conducting official business, as well as public schools. It was written in the early days of our Republic and was adopted by it.
HEALTHCARE
It is the government’s responsibility to ensure everyone has health insurance.
Disagree
How would you promote healthcare coverage that is adequate, affordable and accessible for all?
First of all, we have to allow Medicare to negotiate drug prices. That alone would save us tens of billions of dollars per year. These savings could be used for programs that reduce the Medicare premiums for those who only receive Social Security. The $134 (on average) per month Medicare premium is a lot of money for those on a tight fixed income. Another critical issue is medication costs. Not just prescriptions, although the prices for many of them are ridiculous, but also over the counter medications that many of our most vulnerable citizens are required to take. Allowing outsourcing (Canada and other sources) for prescriptions, as well as setting pricing caps, can reduce the cost for many necessary drugs, such as insulin and Epipens. Our health care system needs a major overhaul, and we must provide protection for preexisting conditions, while making premiums and deductibles affordable.
NATIONAL SECURITY
The best way to maintain peace is through a strong military.
Strongly Agree
IMMIGRATION
I am in favor of construction of a wall and other necessary infrastructure on our border that gives complete control over entering and exiting the United States.
Strongly Agree
State and federal funds should be denied to any public or private entity, including but not limited to sanctuary cities, that are not in compliance with immigration laws.
Did not answer
Who should be allowed to immigrate to the U.S. and under what circumstances?
Our immigration system is badly damaged. We need to reform the system, and we need to do it immediately. We need a merit-based immigration system, instead of a random lottery. We are a nation of immigrants, and it is one of the things that makes this country the greatest nation in the world, but we need LEGAL immigrants. Illegal immigration is a massive drain on resources, and a proven source of crime. There are many people who come here that simply want a better life, and I'm all for that, but they have to obey the law, learn our language, and assimilate into our culture. There is widespread visa abuse, overstays, and fraud in the visa system. Our law enforcement officers need the tools to combat this, and many laws are already on the books to help, but are not being implemented or enforced.
EDUCATION
Taxpayer-funded public education should be guaranteed through college.
Strongly Disagree
VALUES
Judeo-Christian values established a framework of morality which is necessary for our system of limited government.
Strongly Agree
I support adding sexual orientation, gender identity and gender expression as protected classes in non-discrimination laws.
Strongly Disagree
Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.
I am a Christian. I believe that the only way to salvation is through Jesus Christ, and that it is just as important to LIVE a Christian life as it is to proclaim those values. I also believe in freedom of religion. Free will is a basic tenet of every major religion, and I will never force my beliefs on anyone else. Everyone should be free to worship in the manner that they choose, as long as you do no harm to anyone else. I believe very strongly in the nuclear family, as well as a strong extended family. Without a strong moral compass from the parents, and a loving mutually respectful relationship, the children have no guidance, and often end up in trouble with the law, have problems with drugs, alcohol, and teen pregnancy.
ABOUT YOU
When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and immigration, which of the following best describes you overall?
Conservative
Please provide publicly available information validating your answer to the previous question.
My social media accounts reflect my values. I'm pro-America. I love this country, I love God, and I love my family. No human being is capable of perfection. I'm human, and have made plenty of mistakes, but I take responsibility for them, and I ask God for forgiveness. I don't try to hide my mistakes. I don't scrub my social media accounts, or dig through posts to find comments that may not be politically correct so that I can delete them to appear more appealing to voters. I am the person I appear to be. I won't lie to your face, and vote the exact opposite the next day. I'm sick of that, and I refuse to be that person. I support the Constitution, I believe strongly in Judeo-Christian values, and I believe this country needs a strong foundation in law and order to have any hope of continuing to be a world leader.
What education or experience qualifies you to hold the office for which you seek election?
Did not answer
Have you ever been convicted of a felony or been penalized for sexual misconduct? If so, please explain.
No
Is there anything else you would like voters to know about you?
I'm a no-nonsense down-to-earth guy. I say what I mean and I mean what I say. I'm not rude or crass, but I am honest. There's a way to tell people the truth (sometimes an ugly truth) and still do it tactfully and respectfully. I always try to treat people the way I want to be treated, and I talk to them the way I'd want them to talk to my grandmother or my child. There is not enough sincere courtesy in our government anymore. We see it every day, people on both sides of the aisle saying absolutely disgusting things to each other and on our news. Enough of this. Let's get back to running this country and stop fighting and hating each other.
JUDICIAL PHILOSOPHY
I support the use of Sharia law as a basis for legislation and judicial decisions in the United States.

CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY
Mandatory minimum sentencing should be required and enforced for violent crimes.
Strongly Agree
2ND AMENDMENT
Should teachers be allowed to carry guns at school?
Did not answer
What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?
Restrictions on a Constitutionally-protected God-given right to self-defense should be incredibly rare. I take Shall Not Be Infringed seriously. Violent felons should be prevented from owning weapons, including those convicted of domestic violence and stalking (and I'm talking about actual stalking, not social media posts that show no pattern of likely harm. I'm talking about someone actually following a person from place to place, sitting outside of their work or home on multiple occasions).
OTHER IMPORTANT ISSUES
People should be able to vote without photo identification.
Did not answer
I support the legalization of recreational marijuana.
Agree
The Electoral College should be abolished.
Strongly Disagree
In priority order, what three areas of legislation do you propose to author or sponsor if elected?
1. Healthcare Reform 2. Balancing the budget (cutting waste and reducing spending) 3. Federal Legalization of Marijuana (for at least Medical Use)
Is racism a threat to domestic security in the United States? Why or why not?
Racism is only a threat to domestic security because it is being weaponized by those on the far left. Antifa and other domestic terrorists claim that "Racism is rampant!", yet the most extreme instances of violence are only by those that claim to be champions of the people and "anti-fascist". The real threat is from media and "Woke" liberals proclaiming to be the voice of minorities, calling for a movement to "Cancel White People" and crying about "white privilege". We are all much more alike than different, and constant efforts to divide us on issues such as race, class, and gender are designed to have us fighting each other, rather than coming together as the free people we are, working together towards positive change, and actually making a difference.
