OTHER INFORMATION

QUESTIONNAIRE

RIGHT TO LIFE

Human life begins at conception and deserves legal protection at every stage until natural death.

Strongly Agree

Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive taxpayer funds or grants from federal, state, or local governments.

Strongly Agree

I support the Born Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act, which requires health care providers to provide life-saving treatment for infants who survive an attempted abortion.

Strongly Agree

Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?

Only to prevent the death of the mother.

ECONOMY

It is the government’s responsibility to ensure everyone has a livable income.

Strongly Disagree

Free enterprise and the right to private property are essential elements of a productive economic system.

Strongly Agree

How would you guarantee Social Security benefits for future generations?

We need to ensure that social security is there for our seniors and for generations in the future. This will require cutting wasteful spending in other areas so we can provide for them. Social Security in its current form uses todays workers for todays retirees. As more people are about to enter retirement age, we are going to see major shifts and eventually more current workers paying for current retirees. People who are expecting benefits shouldn’t expect full benefits in the next 20 years if we continue with this trend

What government spending would you reduce in order to balance the budget?

We should not subsidize green energy programs that aren’t successful at taxpayer expense but be environmentally conservative where we can be

Under what circumstances should taxpayers help pay off existing student loans?

No circumstance.

RELIGIOUS LIBERTY

Governments should not discriminate against individuals, organizations or small businesses because of their belief that marriage is only a union of one man and one woman.

Agree

Religious liberty is at risk in the United States and deserves the highest level of protection in the law.

Strongly Agree

I promise to protect the freedom of Christians to share the Gospel and to practice Biblical principles.

Yes

What does "separation of church and state" mean to you?

It means that government cannot infringe on beliefs.

HEALTHCARE

It is the government’s responsibility to ensure everyone has health insurance.

Strongly Disagree

I support the elimination of private healthcare insurance.

Strongly Disagree

How would you promote healthcare coverage that is adequate, affordable and accessible for all?

We need to repeal ObamaCare! As a physician, every day, I witness the disaster ObamaCare is for our Country’s healthcare system. It needs to be replaced with a private, free-market system, NOT government-run socialized medicine, regardless of what the liberals call it. Politicians and lawyers have been trying to fix this for decades. Let’s give a doctor a chance to fix this mess that bureaucrats created.

NATIONAL SECURITY

The best way to maintain peace is through a strong military.

Strongly Agree

What should the United States do to help eradicate the threat of radical Islamic terrorism?

Support Israel and maintain a strong presence to route out extremism.

IMMIGRATION

I am in favor of construction of a wall and other necessary infrastructure on our border that gives complete control over entering and exiting the United States.

Strongly Agree

Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) should be abolished.

Strongly Disagree

State and federal funds should be denied to any public or private entity, including but not limited to sanctuary cities, that are not in compliance with immigration laws.

Strongly Agree

Employers should be required to use E-verify to confirm the eligibility of their employees to work in the United States.

Strongly Agree

Who should be allowed to immigrate to the U.S. and under what circumstances?

Good, hard working immigrants who want to assimilate. Immigrants should be allowed to posses dual citizenship status unless they have committed a crime. Anyone who commits a crime should be deported. Immigrants should also be required to pass a citizenship test to demonstrate more than a basic understanding of our country’s language, history, and government

EDUCATION

Taxpayer-funded public education should be guaranteed through college.

Strongly Disagree

VALUES

Judeo-Christian values established a framework of morality which is necessary for our system of limited government.

Strongly Agree

I support adding sexual orientation, gender identity and gender expression as protected classes in non-discrimination laws.

Strongly Disagree

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

I’m a God-fearing Christian who will bring my conservative values to Washington come hell or high-water. I am pro-life, and I will defend it with my life. I will fight for our conservative values when I am elected to Congress.

ABOUT YOU

When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and immigration, which of the following best describes you overall?

Very Conservative

Please provide publicly available information validating your answer to the previous question.

I am a strong Conservative and support our President! I supported him in his first campaign, and I’ve already contributed to his reelection campaign. Our President needs more members of Congress to support his agenda. I am prepared to be an outspoken ally in Washington promoting conservative values. My values consist of promoting limited government, a free market, pro life, and protecting our 2nd amendment rights.

Have you ever been convicted of a felony or been penalized for sexual misconduct? If so, please explain.

no.

Is there anything else you would like voters to know about you?

I will always put people over politics. I am both a physician and a businessman with nearly 20 years of experience as a Board-Certified Interventional Radiologist as well as Vascular Specialist. I previously worked as a first responder treating traumas but grew tired of the bureaucracy system in hospitals. About 10 years ago, my wife and I started our own small business called St. Johns Vein Center and it has now grown to 4 offices and a staff of more than 40 employees across North Florida. While building a successful business, helping my patients, and mentoring young people throughout our community has been rewarding, watching the discourse in Washington has moved me to want to take off my white coat, roll up my sleeves and get to work healing our country.

CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY

Mandatory minimum sentencing should be required and enforced for violent crimes.

Agree

2ND AMENDMENT

What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?

None. We must vigorously defend the 2nd Amendment to the US Constitution! I am a lifetime sportsman, a Life Member of the NRA, and as a young man was honored to achieve a Distinguished Expert Rating from the NRA Marksman Program. As a Constitutional Conservative, I strongly believe in the rights of law-abiding citizens “to keep and bear Arms.”

OTHER IMPORTANT ISSUES

I support BDS (boycott, divestment, and sanction) against Israel if they refuse to allow the creation of a Palestinian state.

Strongly Disagree

I support the legalization of recreational marijuana.

Strongly Disagree

Reparations should be given to people on the basis of race.

Strongly Disagree

The Electoral College should be abolished.

Strongly Disagree

In priority order, what three areas of legislation do you propose to author or sponsor if elected?

1. Economy Revitalization 2.Health Care Reform 3. Reduce regulations for small businesses

Is racism a threat to domestic security in the United States? Why or why not?

Only perceived racism.
