How would you guarantee Social Security benefits for future generations?
The support of our Senior citizens is so critical and it is through ineffective management of the Social Security System that we are now faced with a system which is on the verge of collapse. Despite the fact that Americans have been paying into this system their entire working life, the integrity of that system is being threatened in that it is not sustainable. My 34 year old sons do not expect to benefit from Social Security but as their mother, I know full well that seniors are depending on the support they have been promised and faithfully held to their end of the bargain. I will do everything in my power to work within my Conservative principals and belief in free markets, competition, accountability and transparency to push for a strong and secure Social Security System that can be relied on now and for future generations.

Right now, this is an issue that has been allowed to get out of control and both parties are to blame. With over $1 trillion dollars of student debt it will take strong laws, deceive regulation and a commitment to enable students to adjust the terms of their loans so they can meet their obligations themselves without the government's help. They should be allowed to do this over a term that does not overwhelm their ability to become fiscally stable as they begin their work life.

What does "separation of church and state" mean to you?
The protection of our religious liberties is paramount. The right to practice our faith (or not) is enshrined as one of our God-given rights in our Constitution. Pilgrims came on our shores to be free to worship and we fought a Revolutionary War to escape the oppressive demands of a monarch. Religious freedom is part of our DNA. While the government must never establish a religion in this country, neither does it have the right to dictate how we worship. I will be vigilant in protecting our Religious Liberties.

How would you promote healthcare coverage that is adequate, affordable and accessible for all?
As Christians and Americans I believe we must provide for those living with a disability and the most vulnerable of our country. Having said that, I believe our health care system should be based on free market principals. First, the patient must be in control of all of their health care decisions and this includes seniors under Medicare. Second, the free markets should take the lead in the delivery of health care. They are able to innovate and develop better, more efficient, more effective and more cost effective models and delivery models. Price transparency, accountability for results and competition as well as patient choice are always the key ingredients that must be included in designing a health care system deserving of the American consumer.

What should the United States do to help eradicate the threat of radical Islamic terrorism?
The US must maintain a strong alliance with Israel. This is an economic, political, and military alliance. The US must confront radical Islamic terrorism wherever it exists both at home and abroad. Radical Islamic terrorists are focused on annihilating all Christians and the United States. This must not be allowed to happen. While I do not support endless wars and I do not believe that the US must fight wars for other countries, if by the act of fighting terrorism abroad we are saving the US from domestic terrorism then I will consider funding an effort. However, our intelligence capability must be improved and expanded to provide us with more fact based and real time intelligence so our actions are quick, surgical, definitive and removes the threat.

Next, we should open the door to those individuals who understand the privilege and responsibilities of living in this country whether or not they seek permanent residency and citizenship. This includes personal responsibility for their actions and adherence to all of our laws. They must not have access to the use of taxpayer funded services unless they are American citizens or who have met strict requirements for qualifications to receive those supports. It is critical that adult immigrants be able to be contributing members of our society.

While I morn the death of Americans who have died in the last few weeks and I support the rights of Americans to peacefully protest, I condemn the actions of anarchists and terrorists who seek to tear down the institutions of our Republic. Our Founding Fathers established a system whereby we, under the checks and balances of our democratic system can call on our institutions to move from times of protest to a time where we must develop policies, reforms and laws that will secure the peace and tranquility guaranteed us in the Constitution. Anarchy and any action to overthrow our government must be dealt with with quick and decisive action. We must all continue our efforts as Christians to each and every day work to help each and every one of our brothers in Christ to obey His command to love our brothers as ourselves.
