iVoterGuide Notes:
After the voter guide was published, candidate notified iVoterGuide that the intended answer to this survey question should have been ‘Agree.’
Religious liberty is at risk in the United States and deserves the highest level of protection in the law.
Strongly Agree
I promise to protect the freedom of Christians to share the Gospel and to practice Biblical principles.
Yes
What does "separation of church and state" mean to you?
This is a paraphrase of Thomas Jefferson in expressing an understanding of the establishment clause and free exercise. It does not mean a separation of morality from lawmaking or a separation of religiously formed opinion from the lawmaker. It means government must maintain a position of neutrality toward religion.
HEALTHCARE
It is the government’s responsibility to ensure everyone has health insurance.
Strongly Disagree
How would you promote healthcare coverage that is adequate, affordable and accessible for all?
It is not the responsibility of government to provide health insurance for all. I am in favor of private insurance and where applicable public / private partnership. I am strongly against government managed health care. I am strongly against universal health care single payer system.
NATIONAL SECURITY
The best way to maintain peace is through a strong military.

I believe in the resurrection of the dead. I believe in the rapture of the church. I believe in the return of Jesus Christ.
ABOUT YOU
When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and immigration, which of the following best describes you overall?
Very Conservative
Please provide publicly available information validating your answer to the previous question.
As of yet, I don’t have a public voting record to validate my conservative position. I am a fiscal and social conservative. It is my desire to preserve the political philosophy and rules of government as laid out in the constitution. I embrace free market capitalism and individual freedom. I believe it’s imperative to preserve traditional morality as is articulated in the Bible. I believe America is exceptional. Taxes should be lower and government smaller. Debt and deficits put us in peril and whenever possible budgets should be balanced.
What education or experience qualifies you to hold the office for which you seek election?
I am a 32 year successful small business owner. For many years, I have had on-going public discourse with the voters of my district through the platform of my hair salon. I am well acquainted with their concerns and ready to go to work as their representative in the Kentucky Senate. My legislative experience includes helping develop and pass legislation in the 2019 General Assembly making Kentucky the 26th State to pass anti-BDS legislation. I am an activist on behalf of pro life and pro family public policy. I have served 10 years in leadership as City Director and 6th District Congressional Liaison with the largest pro Israel organization in America, Christians United for Israel. I lead the Kentucky delegation on Capitol Hill. I recently completed a four year term on the Kentucky Tourism Financial Authority Board. KTDFA approved half a billion dollars of tourism expansion in Kentucky.
Have you ever been convicted of a felony or been penalized for sexual misconduct? If so, please explain.
No
Is there anything else you would like voters to know about you?
As Kentucky State Senator, I will work every day to put Kentucky first. I am a Trump Republican and small business owner with the experience we need to stand strong in Frankfort. I believe we can transform our state through free enterprise, limited government, individual freedom, and traditional American values. My platform is “Defend Life...Protect Our Rights... Promote Fiscal Responsibility.” I humbly ask for your vote on June 23.

Is racism a threat to domestic security in the United States? Why or why not?
Absolutely. Racism is a national security issue. There is a growing threat of white supremacist and racism motivated domestic terrorism. In recent years right wing anti-government groups have carried out more domestic violence than foreign groups.
