What education or experience qualifies you to hold the office for which you seek election?
I have experience as a business developer and owner for 20 years. I have experience as a Financial Director, with budgeting and finance advisor and estate management experience. My experience as an instructor and counselor of individuals and groups adds personal understanding of communication and people skills, as well as issues of caring for peoples' needs. As an outspoken community advocate and political activist before County Commissioners, State Employees' Health Insurance Committee, and NCDOT, my research and presentation skills have been effective for causes I represented. I realize that this is an elected position, but in many ways it is a volunteer position also, since the hours necessary to fulfill the obligation are over and above on many occasions. I have been a faithful volunteer in many settings in life. I am called to serve.
Have you ever been convicted of a felony or been penalized for sexual misconduct? If so, please explain.
No
Is there anything else you would like voters to know about you?
I see this position as a privilege and an opportunity to advance YOUR political influence in our very important state government.
