Only in the case if it is established by a physician that the mother's life is at risk. As a physician and having spoken to many OBGYN physicians, the consensus is with todays technological advances, risk to the mother in normal pregnancies are very, very rare.

1. We could begin to incrementally increase payroll taxes from 12.4% to 16.4% at rate of 0.2% per year. 2. Apply payroll tax to all salary reduction plans like flexible spending accounts. 3. Some people have proposed eliminating the payroll tax cap. Social Security payroll taxes are applied up to $118,500 currently. We could look into collecting payroll taxes on incomes above that amount indexing them on a sliding scale tiered model gradually increasing the current capped amount on a yearly basis.

What does "separation of church and state" mean to you?
It means not to allow tyranny of the majority, whether its government or citizens in majority violating Fundamental rights of a minority of free people exercising their God Given rights of life, liberty & the pursuit of happiness. America was founded on principles of Judeo-Christian philosophy. This allows citizens as well as non-citizens freedom to practice their faith without any compulsion from government. It allows for religious pluralism. Laws should be enacted in a secular manner based on equality, fairness and no one person above the law. Government should not be allowed to make any laws that force people to say, write, make, buy or produce anything which violates their religious tenets. In teachinghistory.org, it states “separation of church & state” can be traced to an 1802 letter Thomas Jefferson wrote to Danbury Baptist Assoc. of Connecticut. He said religion was “a matter which lies solely between Man & his God” & government should not have any influence over opinions.

How would you promote healthcare coverage that is adequate, affordable and accessible for all?
Medicare for All is not the answer. Healthcare needs to be deregulated. We need competition in the marketplace & transparency in costs. Why can’t I call a hospital or Dr’s office & get a price on an X-ray? If you could it would force competition & prices would come down. Example of this is LASIK surgery. It is not regulated, insurance does not pay & prices have come down by 90% & providers have increased. People should be able to form pharmacy clubs to order medicines in bulk to lower drug costs. We should be able to buy drugs from Canada which have been researched & produced for Canadian citizens. We should be able to purchase insurance plans across state lines. Why are Dr’s being harassed by medical boards & insurance companies for non-compliance issues when their practice takes cash only. If you have a great health plan from your job, you should be able to keep it. You should be able to have menu style plans that allow you to choose your health needs. Catastrophic plans needed.
