QUESTIONNAIRE
RIGHT TO LIFE
Human life begins at conception and deserves legal protection at every stage until natural death.
Strongly Agree
Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive taxpayer funds or grants from federal, state, or local governments.
Strongly Agree
I support the Born Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act, which requires health care providers to provide life-saving treatment for infants who survive an attempted abortion.
Strongly Agree
Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?
When the mother's life is in danger
ECONOMY
It is the government’s responsibility to ensure everyone has a livable income.
Strongly Disagree
Free enterprise and the right to private property are essential elements of a productive economic system.
Strongly Agree
What government spending would you reduce in order to balance the budget?
First, I would work with others to eradicate any wasteful or fraudulent spending. Secondly, I would encourage privatization of any role in government that could be done more efficiently and less expensively by the private sector. Finally, I would work with others to eliminate and/or consolidate redundant programs within our governmental system. Bloated bureaucracy leads to inefficiency and high costs. I would balance the budge by trimming unnecessary spending.
RELIGIOUS LIBERTY
Governments should not discriminate against individuals, organizations or small businesses because of their belief that marriage is only a union of one man and one woman.
Strongly Agree
Governments should define marriage as between one man and one woman; no other definition of marriage should be legalized or supported with taxpayer or public funds.
No Answer
Religious liberty is at risk in the United States and deserves the highest level of protection in the law.
Strongly Agree
I promise to protect the freedom of Christians to share the Gospel and to practice Biblical principles.
Yes
What does "separation of church and state" mean to you?
The words "separation of church and state," do not appear in the 1st Amendment. The original intention of the wording in the 1st Amendment, "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion," indicates that no religion or denomination be allowed to be forced upon a citizen by the government. Our Christian faith or Judeo-Christian values need not be hidden. In fact, our faith should drive us to have greater integrity and care for others in all our roles in public life.
HEALTHCARE
It is the government’s responsibility to ensure everyone has health insurance.
Strongly Disagree
How would you promote healthcare coverage that is adequate, affordable and accessible for all?
Free markets create competition, which drive down costs and increase quality of a product or service. The best thing government can do for the cost of health care is allow health insurance companies to compete for the business of the consumer.
NATIONAL SECURITY
The best way to maintain peace is through a strong military.
Strongly Agree
IMMIGRATION
I am in favor of construction of a wall and other necessary infrastructure on our border that gives complete control over entering and exiting the United States.
Strongly Agree
State and federal funds should be denied to any public or private entity, including but not limited to sanctuary cities, that are not in compliance with immigration laws.
Agree
Who should be allowed to immigrate to the U.S. and under what circumstances?
America is a wonderful land of opportunity, a melting pot, and a country that many want to call home. People from around the world want to come to America to enjoy freedom, embrace opportunity, and pursue the American Dream. We should have laws and processes that encourage legal immigration and support as many as possible with reaching this goal.
EDUCATION
Taxpayer-funded public education should be guaranteed through college.
Strongly Disagree
VALUES
Judeo-Christian values established a framework of morality which is necessary for our system of limited government.
Strongly Agree
I support adding sexual orientation, gender identity and gender expression as protected classes in non-discrimination laws.
No Answer
Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.
My faith and relationship with Jesus Christ is the most important thing in my life. I base my spiritual beliefs and values on the Bible.
ABOUT YOU
When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and immigration, which of the following best describes you overall?
Conservative
Please provide publicly available information validating your answer to the previous question.
I am an active member of my church and support pro-life causes and ministries including First Care Women's Clinic in South Florida.
What education or experience qualifies you to hold the office for which you seek election?
I have a B.A. in Mass Communication and a M.A. in National Security. Additionally, I have a Master's Degree in Counseling Studies from Palm Beach Atlantic University, a fantastic Christian university in West Palm Beach, Florida. My background includes being a servant leader in my community. I have volunteered at my wonderful church, Christ Fellowship Church, for years in many positions. Additionally, I have served the community as a child advocate and abolitionist to end human trafficking, which includes the sexual exploitation of women and children. Finally, I have served as a Republican Executive Committeewoman on the REC of Palm Beach County.
Have you ever been convicted of a felony or been penalized for sexual misconduct? If so, please explain.
No
Is there anything else you would like voters to know about you?
I'm a person of faith and a teacher that wants to work with others to achieve practical solutions that benefit the people. I tell my students that they are champions. I believe the same thing about every person in Palm Beach County and in District 88. My pledge is that if I am elected, I will have an office that is open and accessible to residents of the community. The District Office will provide resources to the community about school choice and opportunities for education, including scholarships. As God leads, I would like to equip and empower the champions of District 88 with more opportunities for education and employment. Every child in Palm Beach County deserves a top notch education and parents should have the power to make the best choice for their child. Business owners and future business owners should be equipped and empowered with tools to succeed and thrive. Let's keep Palm Beach County a place where people want to come live, work, and play (a blessed place to stay).
JUDICIAL PHILOSOPHY
I support the use of Sharia law as a basis for legislation and judicial decisions in the United States.
Strongly Disagree
CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY
Mandatory minimum sentencing should be required and enforced for violent crimes.
Strongly Agree
2ND AMENDMENT
Should teachers be allowed to carry guns at school?
Yes
What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?
The 2nd Amendment must be protected.
OTHER IMPORTANT ISSUES
People should be able to vote without photo identification.
Strongly Disagree
I support the legalization of recreational marijuana.
Disagree
The Electoral College should be abolished.
Strongly Disagree
In priority order, what three areas of legislation do you propose to author or sponsor if elected?
I would like to continue to build on existing positive legislation in Florida, for example the positive Telehealth bill which allowed doctors to see patients virtually during the pandemic. In general, I support education and pro-business legislation.
Is racism a threat to domestic security in the United States? Why or why not?
Racial Reconciliation is important and I encourage church leaders and churches to join together and lead their communities in a positive and unifying direction. Righteousness and justice are spiritually driven and the church should be at the helm of fixing problems and bringing healing and hope to the community and those that are hurting. I fully support Dr. Tony Evans's Plan for Racial Reconciliation, which includes serving one another in the community.
