Under what circumstances should an elective abortion be allowed?
An elective abortion should never be allowed, abortion is not a form of birth control and should not be used as such.
Chemical abortion drugs should meet essential safety standards (such as in-person consultation with a medical doctor) and require reporting to gather evidence on reactions and outcomes.

While I don’t support chemical abortion in any way, if there are to be chemical abortion drugs made available, they must meet safety requirements and regulations, and be reported on just as any other medical trial.
Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive taxpayer funds from federal, state, or local governments (including Title X grants).

I support 'aid in dying' laws which legalize assisted suicide and euthanasia.

Free enterprise and property rights have been cornerstones of the American dream for over 2 centuries. It is imperative we keep these rights protected.
What is your position on the minimum wage?
I do not believe that the government should over-regulate small businesses by providing a specific minimum wage requirement. These small businesses are wise enough to pay their workers fairly based on what they can afford.
Should environmental and social issues, like ESG (environmental, social, and governance) ratings, be used as criteria in deciding where to invest public monies?
No
ESG ratings are counter-intuitive to the free market economy ideals held by Americans. The policies are globalist and nature and run against principles of America prosperity.
RELIGIOUS LIBERTY
Under what circumstances can government close churches?
Under no circumstance should the government interfere with the exercising of free religion.
Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.

The Supreme Court has ruled that you may not infringe on people’s belief.. You should not be forced to adhere to other’s beliefs as private citizens and business owners
HEALTHCARE
What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D) Taxpayer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be defunded.
C) Medicaid and Medicare have been in place for many years and we would be hard pressed to replace these systems. I believe we should keep these systems in place and work to improve them, rather than expanding taxpayer-funded healthcare. These funds should also be going to the American people in need of healthcare and not to illegal immigrants as it has gone under the Biden administration.
Under what circumstances (if any) should a government, school, or employer be allowed to require vaccinations?
No circumstances should dictate any vax mandates. I am totally against forcing vaccines on to the American public, especially after many of the vaccine injuries seen as a result of the COVID Vaccine.
NATIONAL SECURITY
The Chinese Communist Party poses serious military, cyber security, intellectual property, and global economic threats to the United States.

Is the United States' relationship with Israel important, and if so why?
Our relationship with Israel is majorly important. They are our number 1 ally in the Middle East, an area where we do not have many allies. If we lose Israel, then we will lose the whole Middle East and be under threat of more conflict. Israel has also been a major trade partner of Florida and the United States and we must protect that investment!
IMMIGRATION
The U.S. should do more to physically secure the southern border.

The Biden Administration's complete disregard for border security has led to buildings being taken over by illegal immigrants in some cities, high levels of crime, and no accountability at all from the Democrats in D.C. We must secure our borders to ensure that only migrants coming to the United States in a legal manner are able to cross the Southern Border.
EDUCATION
The state should fund education by allowing dollars to follow the child through programs which protect parents' freedom to choose their child's school – public, private, or homeschool.

School Choice has been a fundamental aspect of the Florida Legislature's work under the past Speaker and I was proud to have supported it. Parents must be able to choose the best education for their child's unique learning needs, and not have to worry about the funding or quality of education received.
VALUES
Children are the most vulnerable members of society and must be protected from abuse, including gender ideology, grooming, and bodily mutilation.

Our children are our most precious members of our society. They are innocent and not fully able to understand the meaning or consequences of their decisions. We must protect them from adults who want to take advantage to their ability to influence these children toward an ideology that may cause them great physical and psychological harm.

Parents should unquestionably have the right to make decisions for their minor children so long as they themselves are mentally capable by medical definition. Parental rights have been a cornerstone of the past few Speakers in the Florida House and I was proud to support those initiatives.

ELECTIONS AND VOTING
People should be able to vote without photo identification.
Strongly Disagree
Requiring photo identification is an instrumental tool to stop voter fraud. Even though we have laws in place to prevent the fraud, people will try to break them and it becomes all the easier when you don't have to present a photo ID of yourself. I intend to bring legislation in the State Legislature that would require proof of citizenship via photo ID for all elections.
States should join the National Popular Vote Interstate Compact which makes the Electoral College irrelevant.

EQUALITY
Is racism a threat to domestic security in the United States? Why or why not?
Racism is not a threat to the domestic security of the United States at all. While we cannot question the presence of racism in America, it is far from a threat to our national security. Our biggest threat to national security is the complete lack of control that the Biden Administration has on our borders, allowing violent criminals and gangs to come into the US.
I agree with Critical Race Theory (CRT) which asserts that the institutions in the United States are fundamentally racist.

Absolutely not. Institutions are not inherently racist and this line of thinking will continue to hold back many capable minorities from achieving their goals because of a false belief that the system is against them.
Biological males should not be allowed to participate in women's sports or occupy biological women's spaces whether it be bathrooms, locker rooms, sorority houses, women's shelters, or prison.

We must protect women and women's sports. Biological men and women are fundamentally different and allowing biological males to compete in women's sports diminishes the accomplishments and work of every biological woman in the sport. Allowing biological males into the women's facilities mentioned puts women in an uncomfortable situation and should not be allowed.

C) We must not impede our ability to be energy independent but we must be mindful to conserve God's earth while doing so.

Oil. We have major oil reserves in our nation and must not take that for granted. We must continue to rely on fossil fuels to remain the world's superpower for centuries.

The general purpose of government is to ensure it's people's right to life, liberty, and property. Our founders laid out exactly what the function of government is and I live by that every day as a Representative.

2ND AMENDMENT
What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?
I believe the founders gave us the right to bear arms in the Constitution and that no law may supersede the 2nd amendment. It is imperative that citizens are able to bear arms to protect themselves and maintain public safety. "Our right to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed" and I will never ever infringe these rights.
Should teachers be allowed to carry guns at school?
Yes
With proper training by a specialist from an organization like the National Rifle Organization or Gun Owners of America on how to combat a threat to school safety without endangering the lives of the children present.
