QUESTIONNAIRE

RIGHT TO LIFE

Under what circumstances should an elective abortion be allowed?

As an unapologetic Christian, mother of two children, and supporter of the Declaration of Independence which clearly speaks of the right to life, I do not believe there are any acceptable circumstances to allow elective abortions. Furthermore, elective abortions are not based on medical necessity.

Chemical abortion drugs should meet essential safety standards (such as in-person consultation with a medical doctor) and require reporting to gather evidence on reactions and outcomes.

Strongly Agree

Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive taxpayer funds from federal, state, or local governments (including Title X grants).

Strongly Agree

I support 'aid in dying' laws which legalize assisted suicide and euthanasia.

Strongly Disagree

RELIGIOUS LIBERTY

Under what circumstances can government close churches?

None. I agree with the Texas 87th Legislature: "The government may NOT (1) at any time, including during a declared state of disaster, prohibit a religious organization from engaging in religious and other related activities or continuing to operate in the discharge of the organization’s foundational faith-based mission and purpose; or (2) during a declared state of disaster order a religious organization to close or otherwise alter the organization’s purposes or activities."

Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.

Strongly Disagree

Individuals and businesses should not be required to provide services that violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.

NATIONAL SECURITY

The Chinese Communist Party poses serious military, cyber security, intellectual property, and global economic threats to the United States.

Strongly Agree

Is the United States' relationship with Israel important, and if so why?

Yes, the United States relationship with Israel is very important. Israel represents western interests in the Middle East which is a stabilizing effect in the region. Additionally, according to Numbers 24:9 "The nation is like a mighty lion; When it is sleeping, no one dares wake it. Whoever blesses Israel will be blessed, And whoever curses Israel will be cursed.” I wholeheartedly believe this and will always support a strong US and Israel relationship. The bottom line is they are an ally.

HEALTHCARE

What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D) Taxpayer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be defunded.

I do NOT support guaranteed healthcare for all. It is too expensive, socialistic and will only work to degrade the quality of available healthcare for this country. The old adage "You get exactly what you pay for" comes to mind.

Under what circumstances (if any) should a government, school, or employer be allowed to require vaccinations?

A government, school or an employer should only be allowed to require vaccinations in the most extreme of circumstances like for armed forces personnel who must travel to foreign countries known for dangerous diseases that require vaccinations.

ECONOMY

Free enterprise and the right to private property are essential elements of a productive economic system.

Strongly Agree

What is your position on the minimum wage?

I support fair labor standards for minimum wage for both employers and employees that are not based on pressured, unrealistic, excessive, minimum wage standards pushed by idealists who have no appreciation for the impact placed on small businesses.

Should environmental and social issues, like ESG (environmental, social, and governance) ratings, be used as criteria in deciding where to invest public monies?

No

No, absolutely not. These decisions should be based on practical fair market metrics that will improve job opportunities and raise standards of living.

IMMIGRATION

The U.S. should do more to physically secure the southern border.

Strongly Agree

EDUCATION

The state should fund education by allowing dollars to follow the child through programs which protect parents' freedom to choose their child's school – public, private, or homeschool.

Strongly Agree

CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY

I support redirecting funds from police departments to community programs.

Strongly Disagree

2ND AMENDMENT

What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?

I support age restrictions on gun ownership. No one under the age of 18 should be allowed to own a firearm.

Should teachers be allowed to carry guns at school?

Yes

Yes, we have reached that point in our society.

ABOUT YOU

Have you ever been penalized for sexual misconduct in either civil or criminal court? If so, please explain.

No, never.

Have you ever been convicted of a felony? If so, please explain.

No, never.

What do you think is the general purpose of government?

The purpose of government is to ensure and enforce security and national defense, secure our borders, manage, control and fairly distribute scarce resources, set conditions for an educated populous and ensure the elements of the Declaration of Independence which speaks of the pursuit of life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness is possible, understood, reinforced and protected.

When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and religious liberty, which of the following best describes you overall?

Very Conservative

VALUES

Children are the most vulnerable members of society and must be protected from abuse, including gender ideology, grooming, and bodily mutilation.

Strongly Agree

Parents should have the right to make decisions for their minor children.

Strongly Agree

Taxpayer funds should be used to provide gender transition services.

Strongly Disagree

Marriage is a God-ordained, sacred and legal union of one man and one woman. No government has the authority to alter this definition.

Strongly Agree

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

I am a Christian. I am a believer and follower of the philosophy of Jesus Christ. I believe in the Word of God and especially try my best to follow the Ten Commandments. I use and apply them as the foundation of my values. I believe Jesus Christ: He is God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. He was born of the Virgin Mary, lived a sinless life, died on a cross, rose from the dead, ascended back into heaven and will return for His bride which are those who chose to accept Him as their savior. This country was founded on Christian principles. We need leaders who understand this and who will try hard to reinforce this truth in how our nation is governed.

ELECTIONS AND VOTING

People should be able to vote without photo identification.

Strongly Disagree

States should join the National Popular Vote Interstate Compact which makes the Electoral College irrelevant.

Strongly Disagree

EQUALITY

Is racism a threat to domestic security in the United States? Why or why not?

I do not believe racism is a threat to domestic security in the United States. The reason why is because I am an example of a black woman in America who was able to find success. At this time our domestic security is threatened by illegal immigration and our own moral decline, not racism.

I agree with Critical Race Theory (CRT) which asserts that the institutions in the United States are fundamentally racist.

Strongly Disagree

Biological males should not be allowed to participate in women's sports or occupy biological women's spaces whether it be bathrooms, locker rooms, sorority houses, women's shelters, or prison.

Strongly Agree

ENERGY & ENVIRONMENT

Which comes closest to your view? (Select all that apply) A) Stricter environmental laws and regulations cost too many jobs and hurt the economy. B) Stricter environmental laws and regulations are worth the cost. C) Stricter environmental laws undermine U.S. energy independence and deter development of reliable electricity sources. D) Climate change is real and requires urgent policy action.

Stricter environmental laws and regulations cost too many jobs and hurt the economy.

What do you believe is the most reliable energy source that will supply the growing demand for electricity?

Fossil fuels.
