How would you guarantee Social Security benefits for future generations?
I believe this 1935 social program should be amended. Programs should be in place to help educate the public on how to ensure their own wealth for retirement. I support the insurance welfare portion of SSA for disabled or family assistance with specific limits. I would like to see government oversight of private investment vehicles and insurance. Government should pass legislation and avoid being in "business".
iVoterGuide Notes:
Survey responses were submitted by the candidate after the survey deadline was reached and were not considered during panel evaluations.
What government spending would you reduce in order to balance the budget?
A balanced budget should be approached from a business perspective. Reduce the size of the federal government, eliminate redundancy, establish productivity measurements and use lean analysis to increase labor productivity. Are all departments necessary, does there scope need to be redefined to increase efficiency and effectiveness?
iVoterGuide Notes:

Under what circumstances should taxpayers help pay off existing student loans?
I believe education beyond 12th grade is optional. The current low interest government loans are sufficient and equal to all wanting to advance their individual opportunity to obtain wealth.

What does "separation of church and state" mean to you?
Government may not establish a state church or respect an establishment of religion or prohibit the free exercise of any church or religion. Individuals decide what or who they have faith in. Representatives in government of a group of people can influence legislation based on the peoples faith.

How would you promote healthcare coverage that is adequate, affordable and accessible for all?
Healthcare Reform to create transparent competition. When doctors, medical providers and insurance companies are required to provide menus for procedures with pricing and visibility of coverage then consumers will have affordable healthcare. Insurance companies must also be able to sell across state lines to increase competition there. More choices and increased competition will also increase the quality of services. An example is laser eye surgery where after transparency occurred the per eye cost dropped from $2200 to $500 and quality increased.

2ND AMENDMENT

People endanger public safety regardless of restrictions e.g. automobiles, drugs, alcohol. There is no evidence to indicate legislative restrictions will have any positive impact on gun violence other than a waiting period for gun purchases has some positives.

In priority order, what three areas of legislation do you propose to author or sponsor if elected?
1. Immigration Reform - build a wall to funnel immigrants at the southern border to ports of entry. 2. Healthcare Reform - privatize healthcare; repeal Affordable Health Care. Continual ineptness of Government to run the Veterans Administration healthcare is why the Government has no business running socialized healthcare of any kind. 3. Pro Life legislation and prevention of tax dollars to support elective medical procedures.

Is racism a threat to domestic security in the United States? Why or why not?
We need only to look at our nations past racial unrest to understand the negative and too often tragic affect racism has on a society. I experienced fear as a young boy in the 60's during the racial riots in Milwaukee, WI. where I lived at the time. Later in my life it took years of learning and discussions to understand what happened and to eliminate the bias that was planted in my soul during that time in Milwaukee. Violence is often the outcome especially during demonstrations where emotions are high and it only takes a few instigators to start a violent riot.
