QUESTIONNAIRE
RIGHT TO LIFE
Human life begins at conception and deserves legal protection at every stage until natural death.
Agree
Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive taxpayer funds or grants from federal, state, or local governments.
Agree
I support the Born Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act, which requires health care providers to provide life-saving treatment for infants who survive an attempted abortion.
Strongly Agree
Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?
I believe that the life of an unborn child should be protected by law and abortion should only be permitted when necessary to prevent the death of the mother, rape or incest.
ECONOMY
It is the government’s responsibility to ensure everyone has a livable income.
Disagree
Free enterprise and the right to private property are essential elements of a productive economic system.
Agree
What government spending would you reduce in order to balance the budget?
We are facing unprecedented times, therefore we need to be very cautious on what sacrifices we will have to make in order to balance our budget. Our ability to prioritize the needs of our community should guide all decision making. I believe we should eliminate red tape wherever we can, especially in regards to small businesses.
RELIGIOUS LIBERTY
Governments should not discriminate against individuals, organizations or small businesses because of their belief that marriage is only a union of one man and one woman.
Agree
Governments should define marriage as between one man and one woman; no other definition of marriage should be legalized or supported with taxpayer or public funds.
Neutral
Religious liberty is at risk in the United States and deserves the highest level of protection in the law.
Strongly Agree
I promise to protect the freedom of Christians to share the Gospel and to practice Biblical principles.
Yes
What does "separation of church and state" mean to you?
The true meaning of "separation of church and state" to me means the separation of the church from interference by the state. "Congress shall make no law respecting the establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof..." James Madison put this statement into the Constitution so that government would never again force it's citizens to attend a state-controlled church.
HEALTHCARE
It is the government’s responsibility to ensure everyone has health insurance.
Disagree
How would you promote healthcare coverage that is adequate, affordable and accessible for all?
I believe that we need a general uplift of our healthcare system. Healthcare decisions belong in the hands of the people and their doctors and costs should be transparent. No company or agency should ever stand between us and top quality healthcare. In light of Covid-19 and it's impact on our healthcare providers, I will be advocating for these changes immediately along with accessibility and affordability.
NATIONAL SECURITY
The best way to maintain peace is through a strong military.
Agree
IMMIGRATION
I am in favor of construction of a wall and other necessary infrastructure on our border that gives complete control over entering and exiting the United States.
Agree
State and federal funds should be denied to any public or private entity, including but not limited to sanctuary cities, that are not in compliance with immigration laws.
Neutral
Who should be allowed to immigrate to the U.S. and under what circumstances?
Immigration should be allowed in a way that protects American sovereignty, is lawful, and is beneficial to everyone. The 4 top residency admissions for immigrants are immediate relatives of U.S. citizens, family sponsored preferences, employment based preferences and refugees. I along with the majority of Americans agree with legal immigration of approximately 1.1 million people annually. Like other countries, I also believe we should have an emphasis on highly skilled workers.
EDUCATION
Taxpayer-funded public education should be guaranteed through college.
Neutral
VALUES
Judeo-Christian values established a framework of morality which is necessary for our system of limited government.
Agree
I support adding sexual orientation, gender identity and gender expression as protected classes in non-discrimination laws.
Agree
Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.
My spiritual foundation is centered on God and my faith provides me with peace and purpose. In our divided world, my faith guides me to love and respect others more than myself and know that we are all created equal. Values that guide me in my personal and professional life include honesty, integrity, service, kindness and dedication to building a more inclusive community.
ABOUT YOU
When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and immigration, which of the following best describes you overall?

What education or experience qualifies you to hold the office for which you seek election?
I am a wife and mother of 2 children; one in high school and one in college. I am also an advocate and fundraiser for local non-profits, charities and missions in Franklin County such as JDRF, Out of Darkness and Compassion's Way. I was raised by a single mother that taught me the value of perseverance and hard work. When I was in high school, I met my stepfather who was a small business owner. He taught me everything he knew about running the company and I was on his board of directors when he sold it to G.E. after 40 years. I also have 13 years professional experience with companies such as CBS, Sony, and Intuit. Lastly, my history with the healthcare system, schools and the drug crisis have empowered me to be a knowledgeable leader when advocating for my community.
Have you ever been convicted of a felony or been penalized for sexual misconduct? If so, please explain.
No
Is there anything else you would like voters to know about you?
As a wife, mother and business person in District 19, I have lived the challenges facing Ohioans. I will use my business and life experience to work tirelessly to improve and create better healthcare, business and education environments for all residents. I ask for your support this November and I look forward to the opportunity to serve as your State Representative.
JUDICIAL PHILOSOPHY
I support the use of Sharia law as a basis for legislation and judicial decisions in the United States.
Strongly Disagree
CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY
Mandatory minimum sentencing should be required and enforced for violent crimes.
Agree
2ND AMENDMENT
Should teachers be allowed to carry guns at school?
No Answer
What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?
I support the common sense restrictions of gun ownership currently in place. I also would like to focus more efforts on firearms used in criminal activity that are obtained through the illegal market.
OTHER IMPORTANT ISSUES
People should be able to vote without photo identification.
Disagree
I support the legalization of recreational marijuana.
Neutral
The Electoral College should be abolished.
Strongly Disagree
In priority order, what three areas of legislation do you propose to author or sponsor if elected?
Lowering taxes to stimulate economic recovery Improve Ohioans access to appropriate and transparent costs in healthcare Increase STEM, Tech and career school education opportunities
Is racism a threat to domestic security in the United States? Why or why not?
Any kind of racism is a violation of human rights. As a country, we cannot live up to our potential if racism is not addressed and abolished. We need to demand racial justice from all of our individuals and institutions and strive for full inclusivity.
