First thing would be to provide a way for those who can or want to opt out of Social Security to actually do so. Those who retire from Congress or Senate should not be eligible for Social Security. We also need to be sure that Congress can not divert Social Security Money for any other programs.

Limit the amount of foreign aide to those countries who are like minded to the United States. Stop funding to the United Nations.

I don't foresee any circumstance where a tax payer should have to pay for someone else's investment in their own success.

I don't believe that it will ever be totally eradicated. I do think however we can help limit further acts, or the promotion of such terrorism by providing as much education to our youth about the issue. A person who values freedom, life, and liberty and is willing to assimilate to our way of life. Any persons who are fleeing a dictatorship that is under the threat of death for their religious beliefs but who are also under the understanding that they must be willing to be productive members of our society. You can assimilate and still keep your religious values and beliefs. I just discourage those who come from a different country, then try to change ours to model what they were fleeing from.

I have given my life to my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. I try and live my life as a reflection of his on a daily basis. I'm human and fall short every day but as a new day begins, so does my determination to remain loyal and faithful to his teachings.

Economic - I live within my means and budget to the needs of my family and business. I believe that Americans are over taxed, and that the over spending of Congress needs to come to an end. Foreign Policy - I believe that as a free nation, we should "help" other like minded nations ascend to our level of freedom. I do not believe that any one nation should depend on the U.S. for its survival. We help those who help themselves. Immigration - I believe that the immigration policy should be looked at and adjusted. I do not think it should be easier to become an American Citizen but there should be more education on what is expected from individuals who want to come to our country. You should want to come to the U.S. to take advantage of the freedom to become your best self and not take advantage of social services.

Is there anything else you would like voters to know about you?
I have been a pubic servant for 19 years. As a Police Officer in the State of Texas I have held the position of Sergeant, Lieutenant, and Chief of Police. I have bee Officer of the Year twice in my career. I have been involved in Internal Affairs, keeping those who serve in this line of work accountable for their actions. I look forward to doing the same thing in Washington. I'm not a "Go along to get along person." I am also a small business owner and have been since 2012. I have experience in budgeting, as an instructor and trainer, mental health training and awareness, policy making and implementing, and many other leadership roles. I am also married and a father to 3 beautiful children!
CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY
Mandatory minimum sentencing should be required and enforced for violent crimes.

What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?
I think that that there is more to be done when it comes to gun safety as it correlates to mental health. There are measures that can still be put in place for Law Enforcement when dealing with mental health subjects who own firearms. Being a Police Officer for 19 years, I feel I can contribute to the improvement of the current state of this issue.

I don't believe so. I think that racism is not as common as some may think. I think the media has allot to do with making issues appear racially motivated in order to drive viewership and other agendas.
