During my political career I have been interviewed many times on the radio, involved in public debates and public tv interviews! I began in my twenties to be involved in the political arena! My first involvement was working at the polls, afterwards being involved in the campaigns of others and later a candidate! Working with municipal government, teaching in the public schools, and working in the business sector since the age of 15. Owning a business at 22 years of age. Today owning a number of businesses across North Carolina! These experiences have made me to be well rounded! Working with legislators since my early thirties and being a former State Senator gives me vision for becoming a leader in our State again! Experience courts!

Experience counts and hospitals should get out of politics! My record shows my conservative values! My lifetime experiences has given me the vision to write legislation to meet the present needs of our citizens. First and foremost establishing more facilities for those with Drug problems. Secondly, budgeting more funds for Guidance Counselors in the schools. Third, establishing more senior centers for our aging population. Fourth, looking carefully at the curriculum at our public schools!
