Born and raised in Northeastern Ohio, I have been involved in Republican Party politics and have been active in local county politics for most of my adult life – volunteering in city council races all the way up to the presidential races. In the past I have been active with 3 different County organizations in 2 differenst states along with the Republican National Committee. In addition to being invited to the Republican National Convention in Cleveland, the Trump Campaign asked me to serve on its APA (Asian Pacific American) Advisory Committee during the 2016 Presidential Campaign. What education or experience qualifies you to hold the office for which you seek election?
I am proud of the job that I have done representing the people of Brunswick for over a decade - first as a city councilman and currently as mayor. Over the years I have worked hard and fought for my constituents. I want to use that experience in Columbus.As a lifelong conservative Republican, I will continue to fight for lower taxes, encourage a business friendly climate, and honor our veterans. Born and raised in Northeastern Ohio, I have been involved in Republican Party politics for almost 30 years, volunteering for numerous campaigns from city council all the way to president. I am currently a member of the Medina County Republican Central and Executive Committees. For this Republican primary on 03.17.20, I would hope that all the candidates are pro-life, pro-second amendment, and pro-business. This is the minimum that should be required of us. So, look at my record as a Republican Party activist, since this is a Republican Primary. I have always been active with Our Party throughout my life - not just now. I have been supporting Republican candidates not just now that I'm running for the State Senate, not just when I became Mayor, nor just when I became a City Councilman. Even before I was in elected office, I have always believed in fighting for our conservative beliefs, for our values, and of course for those individuals who espoused those values. This is why the Trump Campaign wanted me to talk to various groups around Ohio and around the country to talk about Our shared Republican ideals. I did this on my own dime.
