Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?
I firmly believe that abortion should be allowed if a woman meets the following strict three criteria: 1. Rape- If a female is a victim of rape, they must be allowed to be treated with appropriate medical care to prevent an unlawful pregnancy. Medical staff must provide preventive natal care not later than 48 hours after a case of rape has been confirmed. 2. Incest- If a female in the care of or guardianship of a family member is known to have been a victim of incest, she must be allowed to receive immediate preventive natal treatment at the nearest medical facility after a case of incest has been confirmed. 3. Verified Fatal Health Risk to either embryo or Parent - If a woman is known to have a high viability of serious health defects in utero. Both parents and the physician must conduct a thorough examination prior to final determination of abortive action. This stipulation does not apply to any fetus that may have health defects in the womb.

What does "separation of church and state" mean to you?
I firmly believe that we as a nation are not a Theocracy. We have duly elected officials to serve the people. I also believe that our laws are firmly nested on a foundation of Judeo-Christian values. We must not allow those who seek to distort or re-define our historical belief systems to meet a utopian narrative.
HEALTHCARE
It is the government’s responsibility to ensure everyone has health insurance.

How would you promote healthcare coverage that is adequate, affordable and accessible for all?
As one of North Carolina's State Senators, I will legislate for Free Market Health Care options to those citizens that opt in for health care that is: 1. Affordable; 2. Competitive; 3. Accessible. Many of our rural counties do not have adequate medical facilities to support the "Golden Hour" of treatment. Nor do they have adequate beds to support the county population without requiring support from neighboring counties. In order to achieve better quality health care and access, we must have Hospitals and facilities that match those of Wake, Mecklenburg, Cumberland, and Moore Counties. This answers my second issue: Our Economy. New Hospitals and Medical Facilities mean jobs and services for our community. Our current legislator and those before, have neglected Hoke County. I solemnly vow to fix this and end the cycle of partisan politics in our district.

I do not believe there should be any barriers to anyone wanting to immigrate to the United States. I do stand firm with enforcement of our immigration policies and that those who wish to call the United States home, they must do so legally, assimilate with our American culture and seek entry without any malicious intent.

I firmly believe that God is a large part of our daily lives. All laws governing these United States are firmly based on the Bible's 10-Commandments. Every aspect of how parents raise children is a testament to the adherent values of, and acknowledgement of Christ and our community's Christian beliefs. All Life is precious. Evil does exist and should be dealt with in accordance with our inalienable rights as US Citizens. The protection of our citizens and our interests is critical to our national preservation. I will fight and advocate for any legislation that prevents the spread of Socialism or Marxist behavior to take root in our government institutions.

I believe that government institutions across our country have experienced exponential growth. This has caused an increase in bureaucracy and governance efficacy. Many of these institutions have assumed policing roles that have not been officially authorized or recognized by any State or Federal Government. It is my firm belief that the Democratic Party of today uses these offices to continue to oppress a free society through race exploitation, gender dissonance, fiscal repression, and socialist culture indoctrination by means of our public education systems. In order to regain classical governance, we must collectively: 1. Assess our state agencies; 2. Reduce government Bureaucracy; 3. Demand top-down accountability and remove corruption within our state government.
What education or experience qualifies you to hold the office for which you seek election?
I have always had a sense of service to others. My desire to serve our country at times of war only helped to amplify my continuing belief in serving her people. My degrees in Business Administration and Diplomacy & Conflict Resolution help me understand, the importance of building effective teams and understanding the needs of the people. As an Army Officer, with experience at the Executive levels of government both National and International; I have established a solid track record of building effective teams (national and International) to support our nation's interests and safety. As your duly elected Senator, I believe that I can help our State Government achieve its goals in making North Carolina and our District a better place to live.

What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?
I strongly believe that we must continue to enforce our existing laws for gun ownership. Further, I also believe in expanding background checks for all gun sales and allowing our law enforcement agencies to have access to individuals that have mental health profiles which may pose a serious safety risk to themselves and our community. We must be more pro-active in creating a better relationship between Law Enforcement and our Medical communities.

In priority order, what three areas of legislation do you propose to author or sponsor if elected?
1. Education- We must discontinue the application of Common Core in all our public schools. Additionally, legislating for Vocational job training/re-training programs. An educated and diverse workforce drives demand. 2. Economy- We must have a balanced economic growth plan that does not isolate our agricultural sector from our metropolitan areas. 3. Infrastructure Re-development- Our District badly needs to re-build its infrastructure from years of neglect.
