OTHER INFORMATION

QUESTIONNAIRE

RIGHT TO LIFE

Human life begins at conception and deserves legal protection at every stage until natural death.

Strongly Agree

Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive taxpayer funds or grants from federal, state, or local governments.

Strongly Agree

I support the Born Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act, which requires health care providers to provide life-saving treatment for infants who survive an attempted abortion.

Strongly Agree

Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?

We must continue our fight to end the genocide that is abortion in our nation. The science proves that human life begins at conception and each human life is guaranteed protection under our constitution. The only circumstances in which I believe abortion should be an option is when the life of the mother is in danger or severe health risks are in play.

ECONOMY

It is the government’s responsibility to ensure everyone has a livable income.

Disagree

Free enterprise and the right to private property are essential elements of a productive economic system.

Strongly Agree

How would you guarantee Social Security benefits for future generations?

Our entitlement system is in need of desperate reform. Unfortunately we will not be able to guarantee Social Security benefits to future generations without raising the retirement age and restructuring the entire system.I am in favor of a non-mandatory Social Security system where individuals can decide where to invest their own money.

What government spending would you reduce in order to balance the budget?

Entitlement reform is essential, it is the single biggest driver of debt in our government. Our social security, medicaid/medicare, and welfare systems all need to be restructured to avoid the looming debt crisis.

Under what circumstances should taxpayers help pay off existing student loans?

Under no circumstances. As an individual who graduated college with $100,000 in student loans, I understand how difficult it is to be in this kind of debt. However, I made an individual decision to take out these loans, therefore it is not morally just for me to ask anyone else to pay them off. We must work to reform our education and loan systems to drive down the cost of college, not continue to inflate it.

RELIGIOUS LIBERTY

Governments should not discriminate against individuals, organizations or small businesses because of their belief that marriage is only a union of one man and one woman.

Strongly Agree

Religious liberty is at risk in the United States and deserves the highest level of protection in the law.

Strongly Agree

I promise to protect the freedom of Christians to share the Gospel and to practice Biblical principles.

Yes

What does "separation of church and state" mean to you?

The separation of church and state is meant to protect the Church from the State. We are a Nation of many faiths and creeds, all of which deserve protection under the law.

HEALTHCARE

It is the government’s responsibility to ensure everyone has health insurance.

Disagree

I support the elimination of private healthcare insurance.

Strongly Disagree

How would you promote healthcare coverage that is adequate, affordable and accessible for all?

Healthcare costs are out of control. No one should have to go broke to get the quality care that they need. However, we must understand that more government control over your healthcare is not the answer. The healthcare industry is the most heavily regulated and subsidized industry in the country and over the past 20 years healthcare costs have increased more than any other industry in America. Yet, we are led to believe that if we just give more control to the federal government, our costs will go down. Not only has this been a disaster in countries like Venezuela, but ideas like medicare for all and universal healthcare will bankrupt the industry, destroy our quality of care and leave you holding the bill. The key to driving down healthcare costs is to allow the industry to operate more freely from the constraints of government and useless regulations. In Washington, I will advocate for healthcare reforms that are patient-centered and consumer-driven.

NATIONAL SECURITY

The best way to maintain peace is through a strong military.

Agree

What should the United States do to help eradicate the threat of radical Islamic terrorism?

The United States always needs to be proactive in the fight against terrorism. We must heavily vet all individuals immigrating to our Country but especially those coming from nations known for heavy terrorist activity. We must also differentiate between those international conflicts which need direct American intervention and those that need to be handled within their own region.

IMMIGRATION

I am in favor of construction of a wall and other necessary infrastructure on our border that gives complete control over entering and exiting the United States.

Strongly Agree

Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) should be abolished.

Strongly Disagree

State and federal funds should be denied to any public or private entity, including but not limited to sanctuary cities, that are not in compliance with immigration laws.

Strongly Agree

Employers should be required to use E-verify to confirm the eligibility of their employees to work in the United States.

Strongly Agree

Who should be allowed to immigrate to the U.S. and under what circumstances?

We should always have a welcoming immigration system where we are bringing the best and brightest individuals into our country. We must also work to help as many refugees as possible. However, we must be able to adequately vet every individual and not overwhelm our social welfare system with individuals who will not be able to contribute to our society. We all want to help as many individuals as possible, but our system and Country have limits.

EDUCATION

Taxpayer-funded public education should be guaranteed through college.

Strongly Disagree

VALUES

Judeo-Christian values established a framework of morality which is necessary for our system of limited government.

Strongly Agree

I support adding sexual orientation, gender identity and gender expression as protected classes in non-discrimination laws.

Disagree

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

I am a sinner saved by Christ. First and foremost, my faith guides me to treat all others with love and respect and to constantly work to benefit the lives of my fellow man. It seems that everyday our Nation is becoming more divided. We must rise above the hatred and hostility and always lead with kindness.

ABOUT YOU

When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and immigration, which of the following best describes you overall?

Conservative

Please provide publicly available information validating your answer to the previous question.

America was founded on the idea that each individual should dictate their own life and destiny. This idea has led to the most prosperous and free society that the world has ever seen, yet we are facing a relentless assault from those who wish to undermine our founding and strip us of the very freedoms that allow us to live independent and meaningful lives. Our government is rapidly expanding into every avenue of life and the only thing that can stop it is the voice of the people demanding freedom, demanding liberty, demanding better.

Have you ever been convicted of a felony or been penalized for sexual misconduct? If so, please explain.

No

Is there anything else you would like voters to know about you?

I do not care if you are a Democrat, Independent, Republican or Libertarian, I will always fight for your right to live free and make your own decisions. America is at a crossroads, seemingly more divided than ever. If we are to move forward as a nation we must learn to love and respect one another, regardless of our political disagreements. Please join me as I work to heal this country and fight for the great people of Ohio’s 11th district.

CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY

Mandatory minimum sentencing should be required and enforced for violent crimes.

Neutral

2ND AMENDMENT

What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?

I do not agree with any restrictions on gun ownership. The 2nd amendment is the foundation of our freedoms.

OTHER IMPORTANT ISSUES

I support BDS (boycott, divestment, and sanction) against Israel if they refuse to allow the creation of a Palestinian state.

Strongly Disagree

I support the legalization of recreational marijuana.

Neutral

Reparations should be given to people on the basis of race.

Strongly Disagree

The Electoral College should be abolished.

Strongly Disagree

In priority order, what three areas of legislation do you propose to author or sponsor if elected?

-Welfare Reform: Using our federal dollars to truly invest in our poorest communities through real education and workforce development, not just a handout. -Education Reform: Making sure we are putting parents and students in the driver's seat and teaching real life skills. -Deregulation: Returning power and individual freedoms back to the American People.

Is racism a threat to domestic security in the United States? Why or why not?

We must always work to fight racism in America. We understand that while we will never be perfect, we have made enormous strides in our Country and have created the most free and just society in history. While racism is not currently a growing threat, if and when it arises we should all unite against it.
