OTHER INFORMATION

QUESTIONNAIRE

RIGHT TO LIFE

Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive funds from federal, state, or local governments (including Title X grants).

Strongly Agree

I support 'aid in dying' laws which legalize assisted suicide and euthanasia.

Strongly Disagree

Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?

Life of the mother is threatened

ECONOMY

Redistribution of income is needed to lessen the gap between the wealthy and working classes.

Strongly Disagree

The government should cut spending in order to reduce the national debt.

Strongly Agree

What changes, if any, should be made to the tax code?

Reduce taxes and simplify the tax code

RELIGIOUS LIBERTY

Religious liberty is at risk in the United States and deserves the highest level of protection in the law.

Strongly Agree

Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.

Strongly Disagree

What should be the relationship between the church and the state?

"Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion,or prohibiting the free exercise thereof." Can't improve upon the Constitution!

HEALTHCARE

Under what circumstances (if any) should a government, school, or employer be allowed to require vaccinations?

Generally speaking, not, or extremely rarely and only if certain conditions are met, including: long-term positive research results, demonstrated effectiveness for its stated purpose, and lack of adverse effects. The COVID19 vaccine does NOT meet these essential criteria and should not be mandated under any circumstances. I have a draft bill on my website which I'm calling the "Medical Freedom Act." Check it out at www.CleanUpTheHouse.com

What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D)Tax-payer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be de-funded.

C. Plus private healthcare options should always remain available too.

NATIONAL SECURITY

With regard to America's foreign policy, which view most closely resembles yours: A) The United States should intervene whenever freedom is threatened. B) The United States should selectively help countries trying to grow democracy and fight tyranny. C) The United States has become too involved in others' policies and should remain focused on issues regarding our own sovereignty unless in imminent danger. D) The United States should stay out of foreign conflicts completely.

C.

I support the Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement to pressure Israel to withdraw from occupied territories, remove the separation barrier in the West Bank, allow full equality for Arab-Palestinian citizens of Israel, and promote the rights of Palestinian refugees.

Strongly Disagree

The Chinese Communist Party poses serious military, cyber security, intellectual property, and global economic threats to the United States.

Strongly Agree

What should the United States do to help eradicate the threat of Islamic terrorism?

Restore our energy independence to avoid reliance on countries who don't have America's best interests at heart. Prosecute and/or deport known Islamic terrorists. Secure the border. Enforce the law. Support our military and law enforcement officers in carrying out their role to protect us.

IMMIGRATION

The U.S. should do more to physically secure the southern border.

Strongly Agree

Enforce and strengthen immigration laws. Complete the wall. Stop the nonsensical "catch and release" policies. Zero-tolerance for illegal entry at the border.

State and federal funds shall be denied to any public or private entity, such as a sanctuary city, that is not in compliance with immigration laws.

Strongly Agree

Who should be allowed to immigrate to the U.S. and under what circumstances?

I am not anti-immigration per se; I support sensibile, LEGAL immigration (and am myself the daughter of two LEGAL immigrants from two different countries). America is a sovereign nation with the right and responsibility to protect its border and to determine who and under what circumstances anyone be allowed to immigrate here, as immigration is a privilege, not a right. I believe immigration criteria should focus on America's needs in terms of contribution to the American workforce and economy and/or on any other criteria that support America's health as a nation as opposed to detracting from it.

VALUES

Sexual orientation and gender identity should be protected classes in non-discrimination laws.

Strongly Disagree

Sexual orientation is not the same as "gender identity" and warrant different types of protection under the law. Gender identity, for example, in which a biological male "identifies" as a female and then demands entrance into facilities/activities geared toward biological females, can result in an assault on women's rights and/or women's safety.

I agree with Critical Race Theory (CRT) which asserts that the institutions in the United States are fundamentally racist.

Strongly Disagree

CRT is an ideology that is, in itself, racist. It is intended to divide people along racial lines and destabilize society. It is, in fact, neo-Marxism. (The old, traditional Marxism was aimed at dividing people along economic lines, and it failed in this country due to America's very large middle class. Consequently, proponents of Marxism went "back to the drawing board" and came up with CRT as a means of achieving the same toxic end.

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

I am a Bible-believing, professing Christian doing my best to follow the Lord Jesus Christ as my Savior and exhibit all the fruit of the spirit (love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, gentleness, faithfulness, and self-control) in my own life. In a nutshell, as a person and as a candidate I am a Christian, Conservative, Constitutional, Commonsense Republican, who's Committed to results. My faith in and gratitude to God inspires me to want to serve others, and it emboldens me to stand up for what is true and right and good. I like to joke that when I elected to office in D.C., I will provide not only public service with a smile, but public service with a spine! In other words, a strong Moral Compass (which happens to be my logo!)

ELECTIONS AND VOTING

People should be able to vote without photo identification.

Strongly Disagree

What laws would you propose to change present voting practices?

Proof of citizenship required to vote Bring back in person voting and an election day. Absentee/mail-in voting should be the exception, not the rule. Strong checks and balances, as well as transparency in all the processes pertaining to elections (from voter rolls, to chain of custody of ballots, to software and machinery used) in order to ensure free and fair elections.

EQUALITY

Reparations should be given to people on the basis of race.

Strongly Disagree

The idea of racially-based reparations is unfair and racially discriminatory on its face. Past wrongs are just that, past wrongs. Taking assets from one group of people currently living, who have nothing to do with the behavior of their ancestors, and transferring them to currently living people of another race, just on the basis of their race, makes no sense on so many levels.

Is racism a threat to domestic security in the United States? Why or why not?

Only insofar as race-baiting is used to incite unrest, incivility, and violence between racial groups (as CRT aims to do). THAT is the real threat--not racism itself. America is NOT a systemically racist country.

ENERGY & ENVIRONMENT

I support the use of hydraulic fracking to extract oil and natural gas resources.

Strongly Agree

Which comes closest to your view? A) Stricter environmental laws and regulations cost too many jobs and hurt the economy. B) Stricter environmental laws and regulations are worth the cost.

A. With the caveat that we must BALANCE the needs of the people with the needs of the planet. We need to be good stewards of our environment, but do it in a way that supports the people and their livelihoods and our economy as a whole.

ABOUT YOU

When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and religious liberty, which of the following best describes you overall?

Very Conservative

Please provide publicly available information, including interviews and media reports, validating your answer to the previous question (other than your website).

I have been interviewed by the following show hosts, and these interviews may be found online: John Solomon of "Just the News" Jason Rantz of the "Jason Rantz" show (twice) Tim Gaydos of the "Live from Seattle" show

Have you ever been convicted of a felony or been penalized in either civil or criminal court for sexual misconduct? If so, please explain.

NO

What else would you like voters to know about you, including your legislative priorities?

For convenience, here's my 2022 Voters' Pamphlet entry, which includes my background and my candidate statement: Elizabeth Kreiselmaier, Ph.D. (Prefers Republican Party) ________________________________________ Elected Experience Precinct Committee Officer Other Professional Experience Successful career in program evaluation and research at WestEd/Far West Laboratory (Program Director) and Oregon Research Institute (Research Scientist). Wrote and directed federal grants in special and general education. Taught university and professional development courses, consultant to National Science Foundation, universities, state education departments, school districts, and nonprofits. Developed and evaluated programs for children with disabilities, their families, and professionals serving them. Presented and published nationally. Education Ph.D. Summa Cum Laude (top 2%), University of Oregon: Special Education, Management, and Counseling Psychology. Community Service Chaired many professional boards and task forces; active volunteer across numerous churches, schools, and community settings. Statement My candidacy isn't about me. It's about America and Americans, Washington and Washingtonians--people like you and me who live here, and love it here. Most of us sense America's headed the wrong direction. Crime and homelessness are surging. Public safety's threatened. Businesses are suffering. Inflation is the highest in 40 years. We all feel pain at the grocery store and gas pump. Biden's administration isn't solving the problem--it is the problem. Congress isn't doing its job. 2022 is pivotal. I'm fighting for this District, to defend what we all love: Strong Families, Strong Communities, Strong Country. That means: Restoring public safety by supporting our police and military; Rebuilding our economy by lowering taxes and debt; Eradicating homelessness; Protecting America's sovereignty and our workers' livelihoods; Preserving Constitutional freedoms; and Reclaiming parental authority over their children's education. I'm not a career politician and never intended to be. I was asked to run, for what others saw in me: commonsense leadership with a moral compass, combined with a skillset and professional background that delivers what's needed now: a gift for sizing up problems, communicating effectively, and engaging productively to get things done right, and get the right things done. The Democrats' agenda is corrosive from within. It's rewarded destructive behaviors, and spawned crushing debt. House Democrats are off course, and our current Representative votes in lockstep with the worst of them, as if we were Seattle. (We're not). The House has been rife with dirty tricks, but it stops now. I'm a Mom on a Mission to Clean Up The House in D.C. As the only endorsed Republican candidate in this race, (having earned the unprecedented early endorsement of the Washington State and County Republican Parties, current and former legislators, community, military, and law enforcement leaders), I ask for your vote. CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY

Police officers should be personally immune from prosecution for conduct consistent with departmental policy (qualified immunity) while on duty.

Strongly Agree

I support redirecting funds from police departments to mental health and community programs.

Strongly Disagree

2ND AMENDMENT

What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?

None. We already have laws on the books for that, and our Constitutionally protected 2nd Amendment rights must be protected.

Victims of gun violence should be able to sue firearms dealers and manufacturers.

Strongly Disagree
