QUESTIONNAIRE
RIGHT TO LIFE
Human life begins at conception and deserves legal protection at every stage until natural death.
Strongly Agree
Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive taxpayer funds or grants from federal, state, or local governments.
Strongly Agree
I support the Born Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act, which requires health care providers to provide life-saving treatment for infants who survive an attempted abortion.
Strongly Agree
Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?
None that I can see.
RELIGIOUS LIBERTY
Governments should not discriminate against individuals, organizations or small businesses because of their belief that marriage is only a union of one man and one woman.
Strongly Agree
Governments should define marriage as between one man and one woman; no other definition of marriage should be legalized or supported with taxpayer or public funds.
Strongly Agree
Religious liberty is at risk in the United States and deserves the highest level of protection in the law.
Agree
I promise to protect the freedom of Christians to share the Gospel and to practice Biblical principles.
Yes
What does "separation of church and state" mean to you?
The government shall not sponsor a religion or religions at the same time, the government cannot prohibit persons from freely practicing their religions of choice. As a legislator, I will rely on my moral which is guided by my Christian foundation to help guide me through the decision making process.
NATIONAL SECURITY
The best way to maintain peace is through a strong military.
Strongly Agree
HEALTHCARE
It is the government’s responsibility to ensure everyone has health insurance.
Strongly Disagree
How would you promote healthcare coverage that is adequate, affordable and accessible for all?
Health care is no longer affordable for Arizonans. My family's premium has quadrupled in the last few years. I believe the legislature should have the courage to work with federal representatives to take down the invisible state lines, allowing citizens to purchase insurance anywhere in the nation. Competition will lower the premiums and provide better service.
ECONOMY
It is the government’s responsibility to ensure everyone has a livable income.
Strongly Disagree
Free enterprise and the right to private property are essential elements of a productive economic system.
Strongly Agree
What government spending would you reduce in order to balance the budget?
This is nearly impossible to answer since no one in DC is willing to cut out pork spendings. The only spending I would like to see or dream to see is borders security, building up our military to defend our nation, and spending on our infrastructures. Lend a helping hand to the world when needed and we should, but giving our money away to everyone around the world including those who hate us has to stop.
IMMIGRATION
I am in favor of construction of a wall and other necessary infrastructure on our border that gives complete control over entering and exiting the United States.
Strongly Agree
State and federal funds should be denied to any public or private entity, including but not limited to sanctuary cities, that are not in compliance with immigration laws.
Strongly Agree
Who should be allowed to immigrate to the U.S. and under what circumstances?
I do not believe in opening up immigration to this nation based on economic reasons. As a war refugee in 1975, I was extremely fortunate to be allowed to come. That said, we as a small nation in SE Asia, fought side by side with Americans to defeat communism. Unfortunately, congress made the decision to abandon its ally. It took me 8-1/2 years to become a proud American. The American dream is achievable, one just have to apply and wait in line. The current immigration laws should stand as is and they need to be enforced.
EDUCATION
Taxpayer-funded public education should be guaranteed through college.
Disagree
CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY
Mandatory minimum sentencing should be required and enforced for violent crimes.
Strongly Agree
2ND AMENDMENT
Should teachers be allowed to carry guns at school?
Yes
What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?
Not a single restriction, none. On the contrary, gun restrictions is what keeping the public unsafe and Chicago is the prime example of a socialist government overreach. As a rifle coach and state coordinator for two junior rifle programs, I will not support any legislation that would infringe on the right to keep and bear arms. I have also sign the NO RED FLAG pledge introduced by either party.
OTHER IMPORTANT ISSUES
People should be able to vote without photo identification.
Strongly Disagree
I support the legalization of recreational marijuana.
Strongly Disagree
The Electoral College should be abolished.
Strongly Disagree
In priority order, what three areas of legislation do you propose to author or sponsor if elected?
1. Protection of the Second Amendment. I would introduce legislation prohibiting local, state, or federal agencies from confiscating legally purchased firearms from law abiding citizens without cause and due process. 2. Introduce legislation to secure our southern border with or without federal help. We need to do a better job at keeping out human trafficking, the inflow of drugs and criminal illegal aliens. 3. Work with the governor to reduce business regulations to attract more out of state business. We need to increase opportunities and create more jobs, especially coming out of this disastrous Covid related environment.
Is racism a threat to domestic security in the United States? Why or why not?
Absolutely not. It is a social issue that exist in every nation in the world. Can we do more to lesson the tension? Yes, but it has to start early and at home through education and parental guidance. We cannot legislate racism since politicians are the experts at dividing the population.
JUDICIAL PHILOSOPHY
I support the use of Sharia law as a basis for legislation and judicial decisions in the United States.
Strongly Disagree
ABOUT YOU
When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and immigration, which of the following best describes you overall?
Very Conservative
Please provide publicly available information validating your answer to the previous question.
1. I came to the United States legally through the front door. It took me 8-1/2 years to become a Naturalized American. I expect everyone to do the same under the current immigration laws. No exception. 2. I live through a communist war from the beginning to the very end. I will never allow socialism/communism to take over this Republic in my lifetime. 3. I have spoken publicly to defend the Second Amendment during the Yavapai County 2A Sanctuary Movement. 4. I have traveled the lower 48 for the last ten years thanking Veterans for my freedom while publicly criticized socialism and communism.
What education or experience qualifies you to hold the office for which you seek election?
I have 44 years of working experience. I worked every job from janitorial to landscaping to corporate director, and owning a small business for 13 years. I paid heavy taxes to contribute to this economy and I believe my human experience qualifies me to serve the citizens of Arizona. I know how to spend money wisely and I do know what not to waste money on. This is not my money but our money. I put two children though school, one finished college and one is currently a senior at the US Naval Academy. I understand education well. Yes, I am qualified to take on the job of Representative even during this most difficult of time.
Have you ever been convicted of a felony or been penalized for sexual misconduct? If so, please explain.
Never.
Is there anything else you would like voters to know about you?
We are at the tipping point of having Arizona turning blue. The Republicans currently are holding a 31-29 lead at the House of Representatives and we need to send only the most conservatives to stop the blue trend. Our conservative values are being attacked daily and frankly, we are losing. I consider myself a true conservative and I will be that voice to represent you at the Capitol. I am conservative to the core.
VALUES
Judeo-Christian values established a framework of morality which is necessary for our system of limited government.
Strongly Agree
I support adding sexual orientation, gender identity and gender expression as protected classes in non-discrimination laws.
Strongly Disagree
Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.
I am a Conservative Catholic and also a member of the Knights of Columbus. I am a pro-life meaning from conception to natural death. I believe in Christ who is my savior.
