OTHER INFORMATION

QUESTIONNAIRE*

*Additional information was received after the evaluation was assigned and was not considered in the Panel Evaluations, therefore it is for additional educational purposes only.
RIGHT TO LIFE

Human life begins at conception and deserves legal protection at every stage until natural death.

No Answer

Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive taxpayer funds or grants from federal, state, or local governments.

Strongly Agree

I support the Born Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act, which requires health care providers to provide life-saving treatment for infants who survive an attempted abortion.

Strongly Agree

Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?

First trimester, rape, incest, or the life of the mother.

ECONOMY

It is the government’s responsibility to ensure everyone has a livable income.

Strongly Disagree

Free enterprise and the right to private property are essential elements of a productive economic system.

Strongly Agree

How would you guarantee Social Security benefits for future generations?

Stop politicians from raiding Social Security to fund other priorities. I will work across the aisle on bipartisan reforms that make the fund solvent for young people, while not changing the rules for anyone at or near retirement.

What government spending would you reduce in order to balance the budget?

I support a complete audit of all government programs, services, and expenditures to ascertain where we can identify waste, fraud, abuse, and inefficiencies that can bring down spending. As a county Freeholder, my budget spent fewer tax dollars per person than any other county in NJ.

Under what circumstances should taxpayers help pay off existing student loans?

For men or women who join the military, or if someone becomes completely disabled and can’t work or live independently. I put myself through undergraduate and graduate school, and I am still paying off my student loans; it is an investment I made in myself, and the government shouldn't pick up the tab. We should however lower interest rates for student debt and provide incentives for borrowers with positive payment history.

RELIGIOUS LIBERTY

Governments should not discriminate against individuals, organizations or small businesses because of their belief that marriage is only a union of one man and one woman.

Strongly Agree

Religious liberty is at risk in the United States and deserves the highest level of protection in the law.

Strongly Agree

I promise to protect the freedom of Christians to share the Gospel and to practice Biblical principles.

Yes

What does "separation of church and state" mean to you?

It means that in our country we have freedom of religion that allows someone to practice their beliefs so long as it is not harming someone else.

HEALTHCARE

It is the government’s responsibility to ensure everyone has health insurance.

Strongly Disagree

I support the elimination of private healthcare insurance.

Strongly Disagree

How would you promote healthcare coverage that is adequate, affordable and accessible for all?

Protect private, employer-based plans; allow plans to be sold across state lines to increase competition; move away from one-size-fits-all plans; and implement tort reform.

NATIONAL SECURITY

The best way to maintain peace is through a strong military.

Strongly Agree

What should the United States do to help eradicate the threat of radical Islamic terrorism?

We should work with our allies and partners around the world to hunt down, capture, or kill those who threaten the peace and prosperity of the world in the name of religion.

IMMIGRATION

I am in favor of construction of a wall and other necessary infrastructure on our border that gives complete control over entering and exiting the United States.

Strongly Agree

Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) should be abolished.

Strongly Disagree

State and federal funds should be denied to any public or private entity, including but not limited to sanctuary cities, that are not in compliance with immigration laws.

Strongly Agree

Employers should be required to use E-verify to confirm the eligibility of their employees to work in the United States.

Strongly Agree

Who should be allowed to immigrate to the U.S. and under what circumstances?

We are a nation of immigrants but must also remain a nation of laws. Where you are from should not matter, so much as your willingness to assimilate into our culture, follow our laws, and work hard to pursue the American Dream. Expect equal opportunity, not equal results.

EDUCATION

Taxpayer-funded public education should be guaranteed through college.

Strongly Disagree

VALUES

Judeo-Christian values established a framework of morality which is necessary for our system of limited government.

Agree

I support adding sexual orientation, gender identity and gender expression as protected classes in non-discrimination laws.

Disagree

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

I was raised and am a Roman Catholic. My faith and its traditions are important to me and are the foundation of everything that I do. I respect people of all faiths and values and we must protect our religious rights. The most amazing thing about this country is our freedom to worship, or not, however, we choose.

ABOUT YOU

When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and immigration, which of the following best describes you overall?

Conservative

Please provide publicly available information validating your answer to the previous question.

I am a conservative young woman who believes in individual freedom, personal responsibility, guaranteeing equal opportunities (but not outcomes), and smaller government-funded by lower taxes. I believe all countries should secure their borders while allowing for smart, legal immigration that enriches our nation, and for a strong and robust military that achieves peace through strength.

Have you ever been convicted of a felony or been penalized for sexual misconduct? If so, please explain.

No

Is there anything else you would like voters to know about you?

I would be proud to serve my neighbors in Burlington and Ocean counties, I will fight - for conservative values, common sense, and to bring dollars and jobs back home - not sit politely.

CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY

Mandatory minimum sentencing should be required and enforced for violent crimes.

Strongly Agree

2ND AMENDMENT

What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?

Nobody convicted of a felony or domestic violence should be able to own a gun. Otherwise, there shall be no infringements upon the 2nd Amendment.

OTHER IMPORTANT ISSUES

I support BDS (boycott, divestment, and sanction) against Israel if they refuse to allow the creation of a Palestinian state.

Strongly Disagree

I support the legalization of recreational marijuana.

No Answer

Reparations should be given to people on the basis of race.

Strongly Disagree

The Electoral College should be abolished.

Strongly Disagree

In priority order, what three areas of legislation do you propose to author or sponsor if elected?

Infrastructure investment, so we can fix our roads and bridges, prevent flooding, protect our coastline, beaches, and bays, and provide access to clean, affordable, necessities, like water and energy. Long-term extension of NFIP and a hard cap on rate increases. Make the individual tax cuts in the “Tax Cuts and Jobs Act” permanent and raise or eliminate the SALT cap.

Is racism a threat to domestic security in the United States? Why or why not?

Yes. We’ve made great progress on race relations in the U.S., but we must continue to remain vigilant in the fight against racism in all its forms.
