When the mother is genuinely in jeopardy of losing her life through the birthing process, incest, or rape. In addition, to ensure that every child has the best chance of prospering in life, I think that we need to create systems that support children born in challenging environments. I'm not referring to welfare, but rather, systems that give every child access to quality developmental programs that provide quality educational training, and access to quality nutrition no matter what zip code or tax bracket that child's parent are in.

The money that is put in the social security "pot" needs remain untouched other than for uses for social security payments. There are too many people who rely on social security to use it for any other purposes. In addition, we need to make sure that the money is being invested appropriately to reflect the cost of living increases.

The spending that I would reduce is rarely publicly talked about. Government contracts to contractors are not in proportion to private sector bids. There are tons of government programs that are not needed and wasteful. We need to do a forensic audit of our spending and cut what does not make sense and add to what does.

The main issue with healthcare is not access, it's cost. I think that we need to hold our healthcare providers accountable for the outrageous prices they charge for healthcare services. Our healthcare providers receive billons of dollars per year from the government in the form of Medicare and Medicare payments. I think if the healthcare providers are not willing to look at cost adjustments so everyone has access to quality healthcare services then it's time to reevaluate our relationship with them, in terms of the government funding they receive.

However, we need massive immigration reform to ensure those immigrants become productive members of society and don't fall into the black hole of dependency on social programs.

I think the Second Amendment is clear concerning gun ownership. I think we as a nation need to act responsibly in gun ownership. I don't think it's wise to walk into police stations, or public schools with machine gun style rifles just to make a Second Amendment point.

There have been autrocious acts of violence in recent times that were fueled by racism from various different classes of people. However, racism will never be able to destroy our nation as a whole. The perpetrators who commit acts of violence fueled by racism need to be held accountable for their actions, equally.
