OTHER INFORMATION

QUESTIONNAIRE

RIGHT TO LIFE

Human life begins at conception and deserves legal protection at every stage until natural death.

Strongly Agree

Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive taxpayer funds or grants from federal, state, or local governments.

Strongly Agree

I support the Born Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act, which requires health care providers to provide life-saving treatment for infants who survive an attempted abortion.

Strongly Agree

Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?

Rape and Incest

ECONOMY

It is the government’s responsibility to ensure everyone has a livable income.

Strongly Disagree

Free enterprise and the right to private property are essential elements of a productive economic system.

Strongly Agree

What government spending would you reduce in order to balance the budget?

All Welfare programs. This does not include benefits such as Social Security and Medicare which have been earned. Charity should be at local level by Churches and donors. It is not the Governments role to provide for every need of every citizen.

RELIGIOUS LIBERTY

Governments should not discriminate against individuals, organizations or small businesses because of their belief that marriage is only a union of one man and one woman.

Strongly Agree

Governments should define marriage as between one man and one woman; no other definition of marriage should be legalized or supported with taxpayer or public funds.

Strongly Agree

Religious liberty is at risk in the United States and deserves the highest level of protection in the law.

Strongly Agree

I promise to protect the freedom of Christians to share the Gospel and to practice Biblical principles.

Yes

What does "separation of church and state" mean to you?

Government cannot endorse a specific religion, church or denomination. It does not mean no display of Religious symbols or text in public areas. In God we Trust should remain on our currency.

HEALTHCARE

It is the government’s responsibility to ensure everyone has health insurance.

Strongly Disagree

How would you promote healthcare coverage that is adequate, affordable and accessible for all?

By limiting the government reach, power and regulations. This will facilitate economic growth. I want able body individuals to be self-sufficient. It is not the Governments responsibility to provide all needs to its citizens. Dependency is bad for self-esteem.

NATIONAL SECURITY

The best way to maintain peace is through a strong military.

Strongly Agree

IMMIGRATION

I am in favor of construction of a wall and other necessary infrastructure on our border that gives complete control over entering and exiting the United States.

Strongly Agree

State and federal funds should be denied to any public or private entity, including but not limited to sanctuary cities, that are not in compliance with immigration laws.

Strongly Agree

Who should be allowed to immigrate to the U.S. and under what circumstances?

Only those who speak English and can prove they can support themselves and contribute to society. It should be difficult to immigrate to the U.S. We should only allow the best and the brightest.

EDUCATION

Taxpayer-funded public education should be guaranteed through college.

Strongly Disagree

VALUES

Judeo-Christian values established a framework of morality which is necessary for our system of limited government.

Strongly Agree

I support adding sexual orientation, gender identity and gender expression as protected classes in non-discrimination laws.

Strongly Disagree

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

Jesus Christ died for all of our sins. Those who confess their sins, ask for forgiveness, and accept Christ, shall not die, but be born again in heaven. We all have free will and have no right to judge others Religious Beliefs. We all answer to God, not man.

ABOUT YOU

When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and immigration, which of the following best describes you overall?

Very Conservative

Please provide publicly available information validating your answer to the previous question.

The more power and money taken by the government, the less free us citizens are. Free enterprise, self-sufficiency and accountability are critical for a safe and prosperous country.

What education or experience qualifies you to hold the office for which you seek election?

I am an Environmental Engineer. I have managed million dollar projects and budgets throughout my career. i have worked with government agents and agencies at the Federal, State and Local Level. I have been active in my community my entire life, including my current role as Chairman of the Seneca County Local Emergency Planning Committee and Secretary of the Seneca County Homeland Security Committee, as well as Past President of the Tiffin Area Safety Council. I have served in many leadership roles and chaired numerous Corporate Committees throughout my career.

Have you ever been convicted of a felony or been penalized for sexual misconduct? If so, please explain.

NO

Is there anything else you would like voters to know about you?

I am an Engineer, not a Politician. I am willing to step away from a successful career and take a significant pay cut to serve this community that I care so much about. I am seeking an open seat that I feel no person is entitled to. Me and my daughters have been to all 50 states in our beautiful country, and this Sandusky River Valley up to the Bay is our slice of Heaven. It would be an honor to serve this District that I was born and raised in, and have lived in my entire life. I will oppose any Tax Increase Proposal and Unfunded Mandates from the State. I will fight for the Rural Communities fair share of State Revenue. I will support our Public Schools, because the best thing we can do for our Economy, is provide local businesses with capable workers at all levels, from entry level to technicians, Engineers and Management. It is Conservative to foster self-reliance, and that begins with Education. It is cheaper to Educate our Children, than to incarcerate or provide for misfits.

JUDICIAL PHILOSOPHY

I support the use of Sharia law as a basis for legislation and judicial decisions in the United States.

Strongly Disagree

CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY

Mandatory minimum sentencing should be required and enforced for violent crimes.

Strongly Agree

2ND AMENDMENT

Should teachers be allowed to carry guns at school?

Yes

What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?

Convicted Felons

OTHER IMPORTANT ISSUES

People should be able to vote without photo identification.

Strongly Disagree

I support the legalization of recreational marijuana.

Strongly Disagree

The Electoral College should be abolished.

Strongly Disagree

In priority order, what three areas of legislation do you propose to author or sponsor if elected?

Local vote in matters that impact the community such as Massive Wind Farm Projects. Require colleges to provide prospective students with Bureau of Labor Statistics Job Outlook Report for the Degree/Profession they are considering. No student should incur significant student loan debt and be surprised by job outlook. No unfunded mandates to our local communities

Is racism a threat to domestic security in the United States? Why or why not?

No. Violence and Terror need to be addressed whenever they arise, regardless of motivation. Hate is ugly, not illegal. It is dangerous when we try to assess motives of the mind.
