OTHER INFORMATION

QUESTIONNAIRE

RIGHT TO LIFE

Human life begins at conception and deserves legal protection at every stage until natural death.

Strongly Agree

Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive taxpayer funds or grants from federal, state, or local governments.

Strongly Agree

I support the Born Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act, which requires health care providers to provide life-saving treatment for infants who survive an attempted abortion.

Strongly Agree

Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?

My heart breaks for any woman who would find herself in a position that she would feel that she needs to kill her child. I do not feel that in today's day and age there is a need for any elective abortion.

ECONOMY

It is the government’s responsibility to ensure everyone has a livable income.

Strongly Disagree

Free enterprise and the right to private property are essential elements of a productive economic system.

Strongly Agree

How would you guarantee Social Security benefits for future generations?

We need to reform the system to establish long term solvency. Ensure that the money invested in Social Security is protected from being used for other purposes. We need to get rid of waste and people abusing this system.

What government spending would you reduce in order to balance the budget?

We must reduce government waste and pork projects, reform entitlement programs and return control of programs that should be operated on a state level back to the states.

Under what circumstances should taxpayers help pay off existing student loans?

If the person is willing to provide service to underrepresented populations for a specified period of time, the loans or a portion of them should be forgiven at the end of that time.

RELIGIOUS LIBERTY

Governments should not discriminate against individuals, organizations or small businesses because of their belief that marriage is only a union of one man and one woman.

Strongly Agree

Religious liberty is at risk in the United States and deserves the highest level of protection in the law.

Strongly Agree

I promise to protect the freedom of Christians to share the Gospel and to practice Biblical principles.

Yes

What does "separation of church and state" mean to you?

The state can not prohibit religious affairs, such as prayer and worship. It means that the state or government is not allowed to mandate any type of religion for the people. It is our right as people to choose what religion we want to participate in. and to, pray and worship as we see fit without the fear of government intervention or coercion.

HEALTHCARE

It is the government’s responsibility to ensure everyone has health insurance.

Disagree

I support the elimination of private healthcare insurance.

Strongly Disagree

How would you promote healthcare coverage that is adequate, affordable and accessible for all?

We must reform the system to make it patient-centered. Families and individuals need to be the key decision-makers. The overhaul of the bureaucracy of health care needs to include pharmaceutical oversight, outdated regulations that are noneffective and increase the cost, and sensible legislation. This is just the beginning of a very needed change that must occur.

NATIONAL SECURITY

The best way to maintain peace is through a strong military.

Strongly Agree

What should the United States do to help eradicate the threat of radical Islamic terrorism?

The United States needs to vet all people coming in, if they have known ties to terrorist or terrorist organizations, they should not be allowed in. If there are people here on a visa and they have ties to these organizations they need to be taken out of our country. Any aid to countries that harbor terrorists should have sanctions placed against them.

IMMIGRATION

I am in favor of construction of a wall and other necessary infrastructure on our border that gives complete control over entering and exiting the United States.

Strongly Agree

Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) should be abolished.

Strongly Disagree

State and federal funds should be denied to any public or private entity, including but not limited to sanctuary cities, that are not in compliance with immigration laws.

Strongly Agree

Employers should be required to use E-verify to confirm the eligibility of their employees to work in the United States.

Agree

Who should be allowed to immigrate to the U.S. and under what circumstances?

Anyone who is willing to follow the due process to enter and uphold the laws of the United States. Exceptions should be granted on a case by case basis for political asylum and humanitarian reasons.

EDUCATION

Taxpayer-funded public education should be guaranteed through college.

Strongly Disagree

VALUES

Judeo-Christian values established a framework of morality which is necessary for our system of limited government.

Strongly Agree

I support adding sexual orientation, gender identity and gender expression as protected classes in non-discrimination laws.

Strongly Disagree

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

I am a born again Evangelical Christian and I believe that this holds me to a higher standard and accountability. I believe we are meant to be servant leaders especially those in office.

ABOUT YOU

When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and immigration, which of the following best describes you overall?

Very Conservative

Please provide publicly available information validating your answer to the previous question.

Have you ever been convicted of a felony or been penalized for sexual misconduct? If so, please explain.

Never

Is there anything else you would like voters to know about you?

I am not a career politician. I am a woman who loves our country and the principles it was founded on. My life experiences enable me to represent a broad range of people. I am a wife, mom, nana and small business owner. I have been married for 35 years. I am from a family with a long history of military and public service. I believe that Congress needs real people with a common-sense approach to work together to keep our nation great. I will be diligent and a fighter in representing the people of my district.

CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY

Mandatory minimum sentencing should be required and enforced for violent crimes.

Strongly Agree

2ND AMENDMENT

What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?

Background checks only for the purpose of preventing access to those who are legally restricted from having guns, such as criminals and the mentally ill. The current age limit is 21. I agree with that, with the exceptions of our young people who are currently in the armed forces and or those who are honorably discharged. The 2nd amendment is to protect "we the people."

OTHER IMPORTANT ISSUES

I support BDS (boycott, divestment, and sanction) against Israel if they refuse to allow the creation of a Palestinian state.

Strongly Disagree

I support the legalization of recreational marijuana.

Disagree

Reparations should be given to people on the basis of race.

Strongly Disagree

The Electoral College should be abolished.

Strongly Disagree

In priority order, what three areas of legislation do you propose to author or sponsor if elected?

1. Healthcare reform 2. Restoring the economy 3. Upholding our constitutional rights

Is racism a threat to domestic security in the United States? Why or why not?

Racism is, "a belief in the superiority of a particular race". Yes, racism can be a threat to domestic security. People who believe their race is superior can insight violence on races they feel are inferior and influence others to do the same that results in a mob mentality. This can destabilize our society.
